Something that I caught is when the Streamberry CEO mentioned that the real life or Source Joan (not referred to as at this point) is completely average and might be even nice. It's just awful that her portrayal becomes progressively worse for the sake of dramatization.
This season is a lot better than people are saying it is. Just because this season isnt majorly tech influenced doesn't mean it's not good. This season felt like black mirror of the past.
Honestly only the second episode really feels like black mirror to me, maybe the first one too Some of the others reminded me more of love, death, and robots or just feel random
@@SOA_yt no it's not about tech, it's about how people are bad and will utilize tech to their advantage which ends up being their demise most of the time the creators of the show said this themselves. Not every episode has tech but almost every episode had someone's descent into madness, the only episode I can think of where it doesn't follow someone devolve into madness is San Junipero, but there are a decent amount of episodes where tech isnt the main focus and follows someone going mad like Shut up and dance or white bear.
@@marslara all of them felt like a black mirror episode except Mazey Day which was still a good episode just for the show supernatural instead of a good black mirror episode, Mazey Day did still have elements that are big motifs in black mirror but it felt more like a good episode for a different show.
@@atomic_hok Isn't shut up and dance a simulation where an ai tells them what to do?edit: wrong episode but still even that one is the one where the characters get hacked and blackmailed by random internet trolls. Most of the episodes are definitely through the lens of technology. The point of black mirror is the relationship with people and technology.
Just watched this for the first time today and I loved it. Perfect dark humor kinda episode with just enough closeness to real life to make you uncomfortable. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the season.
The director and writing team has said over and over again, they are not episodes. Each entry is its own anthology indie film, remember that as you watch this release.
Annie Murphy is going to have Hollywood wrapped around her finger before long. Mark my words, she will be the Queen of acting for her generation. She is above and beyond the rest right now. Shes fn amazing…
Many, if not all of the other suggestions on Streamberry were references to other episodes. The Will Poulter/Finding Ritman one was a reference to Bandersnatch, Loch Henry is the documentary from episode 2 of this season, The Callow Years is from the very first episode of Black Mirror, Sea of Tranquility is a reoccurring show referenced in Black Mirror, also in National Anthem, Hot Shot is the show from Fifteen Million Merits, Junipero Dreaming is San Junipero, Ashley O is in one of them, and I think Rowdy and Peanut is a reference to something outside of Black Mirror.
Black Mirror really understands how to make relatable and thoughtful content. This episode gets you thinking about CGI, deepfake and AI in the entertainment industry... Really scary
the part where she forced herself to have massive diarrhea at a church 😭 michael cera was a nice touch & the ending was interesting, glad it had a somewhat nice resolution which you don’t see too much in BM
Love that you're reacting to this show! My fav episode is also Hang the DJ, something about a happy ending when almost every other one is tragic is such a lovely change of pace, and the actor's chemistry is amazing
My person favorite is Black Museum! Thanks for askin’! ❤ and that one where everyone got points on their phone for their life like a credit score. And the main character was trying to get to her “best friends wedding“ I forget the name ❤
@@mngzoo7965 NOSEDIVE!!!! Yes! How perfectly named. That one was SOOO uncomfortable and then just super funny but can you imagine if that were real life!? Thanks for the reply! Love to you and yours from Orlando Florida
San Junipero has to be one of the sweetest ones imo. I know this season (with the exception of Beyond the Sea which was a bit too cliche and predictable) was absolutely incredible. I'll admit that the Mazey Day end was very off brand but before that, the episode was quite good.
Finding Rittman is like an Easter egg from a previous black mirror special called Bandersnatch. Will poulter played a character named Rittman. U guys have to react to it 😊
People are being so harsh on this season. The episodes people are hating are my favorites. Joan is Awful, Mazey Day, and Demon 79 were the episodes I enjoyed the batsh*t crazy ride of the most. Where as the others I was a bit bored by though they were well done I just had a hard time getting through them. Plus they were sick and demented.
you mentioned how in white bear the woman and her partner kidnapped the girl and killed her because they are both fucked up but the tattoo on the guy's neck and the woman's claims she had no control over her actions are a direct reference to bandersnatch (the interactive black mirror episode) where that symbol of branching paths connects with the fact that we as the viewer control the fate of the main character and he has no say in it so one of the most fucked up parts of white bear is that the main character was most likely innocent but nobody believed her and tortured her for nothing
The weirdest part to me was how this episode expected me to know who tf Selma Hayek is. I know who Cate Blanchett is. I thought Selma Hayek was one of the show’s fakes, like the Miley Cyrus character or Streamberry.
Fun episode, but if you think about the concept layed out more than 20 seconds its a pile of plot holes and logical fallacys that get worse and worse the more you think about it.

This episode got me reading terms and conditions 😂 Great video guys!!
Same! 😂😂😂
Same here. 😂

Yeah, she maybe didn't even kiss back Mac at the bar when they met.

But isn’t the whole point of black mirror is that it’s tech influenced? That’s the point of its name.

this episode was so meta, but in a good way. absolutely brilliant television!

Love that you guys are reacting to black mirror to me it’s Netflix’s most creative original show this episode was so meta but great love the reactions
it’s not a netflix original
@@chloemegan2955It kind of is now. I know it didn’t start as one but the later seasons are by Netflix

Will Poulter is soooo good in that. Best part.
Hang the dj is also my favorite followed by san junipero, black museum & nose dive(the one with bryce dallas howard)
Oh yay! First channel I’m subbed to that’s reacting to this season!
This season was so good!
The wedding scene is one of my favourite television moments of all time.
Two of my faves are White Christmas and San Junipero
My favorite show reacted by my favorite movie channel 😍 my day is made
My favorite episode of all time is men against fire, by far. I’m surprised it doesn’t get more recognition.
This is really timely, if you've been paying any attention to why the WGA, and possibly SAG-AFTRA, is striking.
Zuff, the episode you couldn't remember (the one with Bryce Dallas Howard) is called "nosedive" ^^
I also love "Hang the DJ"! 😄
Salma Hayek is so gorgeous😍 Loved her in Fool’s Rush In

3:19 sorry, had to say, I’m loving The Bear with you gents!
Sending love to you and yours from Orlando Florida
Have to do schitts creek
Love y’all’s reactions
My favourite episode this season is this one (Joan is Awful) but overall among all the seasons, I like Metalhead the best. That one was relentless!
you mentioned how in white bear the woman and her partner kidnapped the girl and killed her because they are both fucked up but the tattoo on the guy's neck and the woman's claims she had no control over her actions are a direct reference to bandersnatch (the interactive black mirror episode) where that symbol of branching paths connects with the fact that we as the viewer control the fate of the main character and he has no say in it
so one of the most fucked up parts of white bear is that the main character was most likely innocent but nobody believed her and tortured her for nothing
was waiting on this one🤩
Can’t wait for loch Henry
Can't believe you didn't know who Annie Murphy is
I like this season waaay better than last season!
My favorite episode of all is Shut up & Dance
JOAN is ALEXIS from SCHITTS CREEK
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finding ritman is a reference of the interactive black mirror spin off. That would be a fun reaction video btw.
I would watch episodes of “Bryce is aweful” haha!
Did you guys ever watch the Black mirror Bandersnatch with Will Poulter?

Thanks, Bryce! Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Zuff! ⬛ #ReelTime #AllyPankiw #BlackMirror

Salma would absolutely stuff her face full of burgers bc shes that badass. Lol I guarantee she would.
Good job spoiling the twist in the video’s title 😂💡
Fun episode, but if you think about the concept layed out more than 20 seconds its a pile of plot holes and logical fallacys that get worse and worse the more you think about it.
This is still a quite new episode. Why would you put spoilers in both the title and thumbnail pic 😭
