I believe the essence of this Sakhi is the pure focus of the mind. Whatever you truly focus your mind on it will deliver it’s reward. If it’s a worldly pursuit or in this case a spiritual pursuit.

Any time singh ji but usually in morning before food. Many rehatnamas says to eat nothing before japp and jaap sahib bani
