I just wanted to stop by to comment again with an update since this video series inspired me to go intentionally buy something to sell it online. Before that I had just been selling my own stuff from around the house. In almost 300 days, I have made $1943 and have an inventory of 149 items listed for sale. Nothing super amazing, but perfect for me. A little project for me to do on the side as I have had the time. Fun to see what I did with just $20 and a few hours a week. It is also great to see how it builds on itself. I am at the point where I have more money than I have time to spend and list items. Using the model from the "Profit First" book, I have started to pay myself a small weekly salary. I'm not quitting my day job any time soon, but I appreciate having a little extra money to spend on home improvement projects. Thanks for inspiring me with your video series. Cheers!

I think we are on the same page, we both love wearing it so we love looking for it too! I haven’t found Fabletics for months though! 😭

Most of our clients are online sellers, so we know first-hand that the Goodwill could be a gold min for deals.

I pick up almost every Nike item I can find when I go to the Outlet near me, they sell pretty fast as you mentioned. Good ideas for hitting shoes first then activewear. I've sold tank tops but I now know I do need to be extra picky about them. Not a lot of profit for the work put in otherwise. Thanks for the video as always!

I feel like really well-constructed, built-in-support tops do better for me! Although, usually I found those with the bra cups removed and that seems to decrease their ability for a quick sale!

Playing along with you. I have sold 5 items, have 14 items listed and cash of $27.58. I've learned the hard way to spend more time in the store checking comps and inspecting the items. Thankfully my mistakes have sold quickly with a small profit so I can put these lessons into action ha!

That makes me so happy someone else is doing it! Sounds like you are off to a great start! Even a small profit is profit, much better than sitting in your house collecting dust!

Just to test it out I took a jacket that would easily sell for $40 and put it up on Mercari for $5 free shipping and got nothing but likes like I predicted. Also Mercari shipping is bogus. Shipped something and it was 1lb 3oz and I had put 1lb and they charged me for 2lb at $11... terrible platform in my opinion.

Very interesting! What kind of jacket was it? I wonder if people thought the deal was too good to be true? You do have to be accurate about weight on mercari. Anything above a pound goes into the $11 shipping tier. I can get better rates on pirate ship, but I know not everyone loves that option.
