On the topic of Patient Zero, could you do a video on the 'unique' cresties in the hobby (Patient Zero, Frazil, Mr. Shrimp, etc)? And a video on the RCK Melanistic would also be pretty cool! I know Tiki's just did a video on it, but your thoughts are something I'd be interested to hear!
I bought my Lilly white crested gecko for 1000 british pounds 2 years ago just to have as a pet. They can live 20+ years so I didn't think it was unreasonable at all to spend more to get the one I liked the most. People pay more than that for their favorite kinds of dogs and cats that live much shorter lives.
it's definitely something you do if you're insanely passionate or breeding. Animals this expensive are a great investment if you're planning on it. Eventually I'll get my hands on one simply to admire the colour and structure 😅
Id love to see a Cold 🥶 Fusion project that turns a Gecko Blue. Mixing Red's and Greens possibly ? But I did see one that got my attention once. But they're rarely ever seen
Congratulations, hard work pays off!! Price is good, ball market when new morphs were discovered animals were 50k $ and up! 👍LOL commented before the end of the video
I'm looking for a decent designer morph but not 20k I'm looking at maybe 1k but looking for something in the decent end cuz I do spend 1200 on my pythons but I would love to get into the gecko game
The visuals were too rich for my blood but I was trying to get the 100% hets yesterday and last week. They all sold in 2 minutes. Please tell you will be doing more soon? 😔
@@IamQuoz Size varies but there are absolutely hets and visuals on MM on a regular basis. They go pretty fast so check it throughout the day on daily basis or reach out to the sellers who post them via an inquiry to get a heads up on when they will post the next ones.

I've never said it's not about the money. This is my job, my career, how I pay my bills and feed my family. My job is about the money just like yours or anyone's. I also happen to absolutely love what I do for a living. The two are not mutually exclusive.
@@AltitudeExotics yeah you have, you said before it wasn’t about the money, it was about being able to watch the geckos grow up and the money was just a perk because it allowed you to do what you wanted to do for a living, which is great. But like I said idc what a gecko looked like, I could never sell one for that much money and feel good about it. But That’s just my opinion and that’s because I believe the crested gecko market prices are outrageous and when geckos sell for this much all it does it feed more into ridiculous pricing of geckos simply because of its color and head shape. I do believe a quality gecko from a breeder should come with a premium price but where do we draw the line?
Every person gets to draw the line for themselves. That's the best part, purchasing one is completely optional! :) No need to get upset just because someone else has chosen to draw that line in a different place than you have.
@@AltitudeExotics I’m not upset, but you posted a video opening yourself up to be criticized. So you can’t get defensive and start sending passive aggressive smiley faces just because I gave my own opinion.
I honestly think it’s stupid and outrages for a person to really thinks it’s alright to spend 20k on a lizard, it’s way over priced and it’s only overpriced because breeders persuade people that it’s worth that much, and people being people will buy it at that ridiculous price, if people actually used their heads for once and stop buying over priced reptiles, these animals would only worth going into a $1000 dollars or so at max, instead they all paying thousands of dollars for a lizard that eats shits hides and sleeps it’s whole life.
Whats your problem? You dont have to buy a lizard for that much, just let the ppl do it, if they think its worth that much. Noone should blame anyone for theyr decisions. I think its pretty cool that Brian can make a good living out of breeding crested geckos. He does an awesome job!
You like defending Brian huh? What? Are you kissing his ass too? I stated my opinion and I’m entitled to say whatever I want, and it’s true tbh, 20k for a lizard it’s stupid it’s outrages and over priced, if only people were so willingly to give 20k to help end hunger and help homeless children ect, instead people think it’s ok to pay 20k for a lizard because breeders tell them too, it’s stupid!! Thousands of dollars given away for a lizard that eats and shits and hides and sleeps for the rest of its life. Idiots!!
get a life, people will do what they want with their money. I get that it's your opinion for thinking what you want but don't be a dick about it. How about you go and focus doing something your passionate about and stop hating on others
