The Temple Of Floating Pagodas Chae Hom Thailand

Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat located in northern Lampang province in Thailand had to be one of the most challenging trips I had taken here reaching this location with very limited public transportation. When I finally arrived at the summit of Doi Pu Yak by foot it was early morning and I had the mountain range to myself. One of the most peaceful locations for a temple I have visited and the remoteness makes it difficult for many to visit.

Doi Pu Yak mountain is 1,695 feet at the summit I think it looks taller because it is so damn steep.

It is amazing to see some of the builds of monks, both Christian, and Buddhist, across the spectrum of time, both seeking a peace, and serenity that the world can never achieve. Protect my ear from the whisper of the evil one, but allow them to hear the chimes of Heaven, that I might know it's greater goodness, and rest in it's affirming calm.

This is a beautiful place that is very difficult to get to by your own but I have proven possible alone. In Lampang province in northern Thailand.
