I just got off this ship on Sunday and I absolutely loved it! I had been hearing so many negative things about it and wasn't really all that excited to go but ended up having the best time. Food was good, entertainment & crew was amazing, ship was beautiful and met so many people from other countries with no issues at all.
@@carguy1697 I had heard that as well but fortunately that was not the case on my cruise. I met so many people from other countries and had a great time laughing and talking with them.
Going on our first cruise period and going on msc seashore. Thanks for being so detailed about the what needs to be done bc me and my family are clueless as first time cruisers! ❤
Thanks Racquelle! I can only imagine that your group cruise is going to be amazing! Know that you’ve already gone above and beyond to compare the sister ships and the actual ship that you’ll be sailing and your guests/clients will have you even closer than normal. The MSC cruise ships are indeed beautiful. And the tucked away spots that allow you to still enjoy yourself and the ship without enjoying everyone else. I’m glad that I’m not very picky when it comes to eating, I mean outside of allergies, so the limited or repetitive food options would not be a great problem for me. Give me some basics for each meal time and I’ll be good. Great advice on the muster drill and activating credit cards and making reservations for speciality dining. And the limits on the dining packages. As always thanks for sharing. Stay blessed. ✌🏾🛳️🥰
Thanks for watching Keshia! And yes- after my experience on MSC Seaside, I definitely wanted to get on this ship to scope it out for my group. And I agree- I don’t cruise for food, so the repetition, as long as it is good, doesn’t bother me either.
RacQuelle, you already know... I think MSC's ships onboard spaces are the most beautiful at sea! You chose. a great ship for your group cruise! Thanks for the walkthrough. What taboo? 😂You KNOW I love my DCL... and yes, DCL Wish is a beauty! ✨ That's a great tip about getting muster done early to avoid the crowds if possible.
I just came across your video. Awesome job! You covered things other vlogs never mention. I learned a lot and it is so appreciated. I’m now more prepared for my cruise on MSC Seashore next month!
That really is a nice interior cabin!! I love when cruise ships get rid of those plastic shower curtains!!!! Good information to know about MSC internet package too, a little confusing, thanks for clarity how you can’t swap out on devices! Good idea on heading to safety drill a little earlier to avoid getting caught up in that crowd; I feel jittery right now just thinking about it, I hate that group drill 😳 so after they scanned your card, you just walked back up to deck 15 from 6, or wait until elevators turned back on?? Thanks for sharing 😇
Wow, your explanation was incredibly thorough and informative. I really appreciate the time you took to go over everything. Thanks a lot for sharing! I've got a family trip planned for June 2024 and I'm so thrilled about it that I sometimes fall asleep watching your MSC videos…. Lol😂 Thank you for all the detailed information.
Wow, great video, so thorough and great camera movement. Some folks have so many quick circular motions in the video that I have to turn it off!! I just subscribed to your channel. amazing job, thank you!
I was on seashore in December and I loved it had a inside cabin but got upgraded to balcony the only thing I didn’t like was how long it took the elevators to come sometimes
Thank you for the video! I was really confused about the muster drill but you explained it really well. You gave a lot of thorough advice and I appreciate that! Can't wait for my cruise on February 4th!!!
Thank you for your amazing review ! My daughter and I are setting sail this May on our very first cruise in this ship! I admit I am a bit overwhelmed and nervous. We’ve never done anything like this but we are celebrating two years of me cancer free and going on as many cruises as possible is on my bucket list. You said you flew in…I know this is probably a stupid question, but was there a shuttle from the airport or did you take like an Uber😂
Congratulations on being 2 years cancer free! May you continue to stay healthy and happy! I use Cruise Control Transportation when I fly in to Orlando (there are a couple videos on my page if you search for them). They are the cheapest shuttle service in Orlando but excellent service! There are other shuttle services available as well but only use Cruise Control Transportation. You can also choose to Uber. It will be approximately $60 for an Uber that can fit 4 people. Have a great time!
Thank you for the muster drill tip! I went through the muster drill on the Meraviglia in November and it was very crowded. I will be using this tip on the Seashore in March.Great video!
Excellent video! We just booked on this ship, after we had such a good time on the Seascape last year. We've been cruising for over 20 years, and last year was the first time we tried MSC.
Hi we are booked on this ship for May if you sail before then do you mind taking a picture or getting the schedule times for the 1 year old room please. I am a millitary spouse sailing without my husband and all these kids 😅
How wheelchair accessible do you think Seashore is? Did you see ramps up to the pool and hot tub levels? Were there lifts for the pool and hot tubs? We're on it this Feb. 4th.
As an aspiring travel advisor, I want to say thank you for your content. If you offer any travel advisor/ travel content creator classes. I will be the first to sign up.
Great video!! Parts 1 and 2 has a lot of information. I was wondering about the muster drill. If we can go to our muster designated area to have our card scanned before everyone comes out ofntheir rooms, do we still have to watch the video amd call them? Thanks again!
Thanks. You still have to watch the video and call them. What we do is watch our video before the muster drill. About 20 minutes before they make everyone go to the cabin and walk down the stairs to muster, we wait in the general area of the muster. They don’t scan cards until they’ve directed people to report to their muster. But we are always first in line and we avoid the crowds going to the actual muster station. When people are heading down to muster, we head up to our cabin to dial the number requested. Definitely saves time and from having to walk the stairs.
Hi RacQuelle, great video. What did you use to record this video? I was on the Seacape last November during Thanksgiving, and I had a great time. I may need to give the Seashore a try since we drive to Orlando/Port Canaveral a lot.
Thank you! I always use a GoPro to film. No fancy camera. GoPro is easy to use. I do use an insta360 x3 from time to time to get 360 shots, but I didn’t use it on this video.
Just got back from a seven day cruise on this ship and had an absolutely delightful time. I wasn’t sure about the idea of two solid days on the sea, but it was amazing. Enjoyed the whole thing (well, other than the elevator system😂)
Loved this, me and my wife going In September on seashore. I see you’ve been on Sky Princess, we went on her in April and loved it, will watch your vids on that next 😄
@@hardrockheaven this is a short 3 day going to Nassau and Ocean Cay. We have a group of 147 cruisers, most as brand new cruisers so we thought a short cruise would be perfect
@@MHFamilyAdventures oh wow, that’ll be cool! I took a couple of friends on MSC Virtuosa last month on a 2 night cruise from Southampton to Cherbourg France to give them a taste and they both loved it. Sounds like you have got your hands a bit more full 😂
Main dining room is included in your cost. The food is ok. But it depends on your preference and taste. It’s also not unlimited like other cruise lines. You can get 2 appetizers but if you request more than one entree then it’s $7 each. The portions tend to be small in the main dining room.
I just got off this ship this morning and I won't be getting on another MSC ship. I think because the ship is filled with crystal, chrome, mirror and marble, it is very loud. If you have a trip planned bring earplugs for all the shows. The sound system is too loud. You did a pretty good job explaining the muster drill, but we were told that you had to watch the video, all at the same time and then dial a code into the phone before heading to the muster area. By that time, the elevators were not operational. I love that you explained that for the elevators you need to hit the floor you want for each person in your party. This was not explained anywhere and people were frustrated that elevators would stop and be full. We happened to be in an elevator the first day with a crew member and he told us that. We never heard or saw a written explanation anywhere. Which brings me to my next issue with the ship. The signage is terrible. There should have been a sign at each elevator, explaining the procedure. Other signage was sorely lacking and we spent a lot of time walking in circles. When you get off the elevators on your cabin floor, there are no signs indicating which way to go. You have to walk around the corner, read that those are the "odd" cabins and turn and go to the other side if you have an "even" cabin. There were no signs to any of the restaurants or any venue. Shops were located on decks 6,7, and 8 but if you wanted to return to a specific shop and didn't remember where it was, you would do a lot of stair climbing because the directory read , "Shops, 6,7,8". The food was not bad and often quite good, though one night I traded my fisherman's platter for an Indian dish because the calamari was rubber. We did find one quiet place to eat for free. Central Park is open for breakfast and lunch and is not a specialty restaurant. It was also the only restaurant where we were given paper menus without asking. We were expected to scan the wine and dinner menus at our tables. But, not everyone had their phone or internet. We were usually brought one menu for a table of eight. You were told to reserve a place at the shows but no one ever checked that you actually had a reservation. Now we had a nice clean room and I liked the shower.
sounds like your just old and dont want to be burdened with loud noises on a crowded cruise ship where they server drink packages and soley cruise ships are ment for partying and that sort of life style i dont drink and i dont complain about loud music lol its a you thing not a msc thing
Hi! Nice informative video! Thank you! Does the activation machine allow you to add cash to your account or will a visit to guest services be required to do so?

Little early for us. We felt too rushed to get ready for dining after a day at pook or on beach. Food we really liked! Even the buffet for breakfast and lunch was a bit more enjoyable than most cruise lines. Did not like the smart elevator nor entertainment. We like comedy but they only had the XX shows which we do not like. We got a nice upgrade on our cabin. Robert our cabin stewart and our serves were very good. Only complaint is they sat us we people we did not know and we had to pass around the bread basket. Did not appreciate strangers in the basket. Am I being picky? Msc Seashore although beautiful was not to our liking.

How tall? You can take a regular sized checked suitcase and carry on. I wouldn’t recommend more than 2-3 in the cabin due to lack of space.
