    Does the Transfer pump not only meant for water? i had a look on there website see if it could be used for diesel and it only stated about water.

    • @alisdiggerdiary
      @alisdiggerdiary  Год назад

      Yep water only … but it pumps oil 👍😂 I’m not sure about diesel I was told diesel softens the rubber impeller really quickly

    How do you stop cross contamination with using different oils with the pump ?

    • @alisdiggerdiary
      @alisdiggerdiary  Год назад

      Just run a litre or two through it like I say it’ll be engine oil and axle oils and occasionally hydraulic

    Hi ali best way to drive a digger is hold levers wit your finger tips its more precise 👍

    Does adblue really help the environment if every other day you have to send a service truck to fix it. Does your van have adblue?

    • @alisdiggerdiary
      @alisdiggerdiary  Год назад +3

      Yea van is on adblue think about all the plastic containers used for adblue the energy used to make them and components surely it’s a false economy 🤷‍♂️

    How many hours does on average does a Nox sensor last for?

    • @alisdiggerdiary
      @alisdiggerdiary  Год назад

      On a Doosan engine I don’t think I’ve changed one on a Perkins engine some as early as 4K hours others like that 8k hours there’s no real tell as to when to expect it 🤷‍♂️

    I don't no but wont the tap on the end of your hose will cause pressure and crack the pump

    • @alisdiggerdiary
      @alisdiggerdiary  Год назад +1

      The tap I’ll use just when I’m done pumping to save dribbles in the van yea I’ll avoid closing it when the pump is on 👍
