I’m not a Bey stan, I don’t usually listen to this genre of music. I think this is AOTY. This is spectacular. Drake tried, but it was not executed well in my opinion. This album is a no-skip album. I DO think it was a risk, because as a solo project she had been away for 6 years, pandemic, things have changed. Who knows how it would be received. I do think it was risky. And she pulled it off flawlessly. This is a wonderful album.

First play i didn't get it and wasn't into it. Next day i listened again and also followed up on the references and it made so much more sense. Now i listen every day. The transitions are fire lyrics could've been better on some things but overall i will definitely give it 9/10
