@@ChristinesCrafts I loved the pentagon as well. I make bookfolds (among other things) and sell them for Breast Cancer Now, To date I've raised £48,600. The stars look great on my boo fold Christmas trees!
I was following the written instuctions, and I think there needs to be a note somewhere about which side needs to be facing up or down if your paper only has a pattern on one side. I got all the way to the end of step 4 and had to redo it because the pattern of my paper was in the inside of the star. And let me tell you, having to redo it again using the same piece of paper was really difficult with all of the extra folds! Doing step 4 the first time wasn't too bad, but it was really hard trying to do it the second time! Also, I can't listen to the audio of this video now, so I can't know for sure if you mentioned the front/back of the paper while you were talking. If you do, sorry in advance!
Thank you so much for pointing this out. I can imagine that making all your folds the opposite way was challenging! I will add a pinned comment to this video and a note to the written instructions. 😀
Do you mean where you start pinching your points until they fold in together? If so, I suggest you keep pinching each point one after the other and working your way around. As they all get more folded they should start to do what you want. Then just make sure they all lie the same way (closckwise) and encourage them to fold flat. I hope you work it out ! Good luck! 😀
Oh no. I wonder what went wrong. Try slowing the video and pausing it at key points. You can comment on here where it went wrong and I will try to help.
@@ChristinesCrafts Thanks for the response, I let my students have a go at this, this morning as a challenge activity - they actually really enjoyed themselves.

If you are using paper that is only patterned on one side make sure you start with the patterned side facing down onto the table.
I was fully prepared to start throwing things at the wall but it worked! Thank you
