Lovely interpretation of these powerful, old lyrics....However, this is the more common, modern version of the song. How about the original hymn version? The tune is different and, just my subjective feeling - but I believe the original Robert Harkness tune is just as powerful, if not better. I cannot find the older tune sung anywhere 'online' - perhaps our choir will do it - and post it...Blessings...
