gonna be doing on my 2011 wrx, did you replace the gasket/washer thing in the front transmission? or you just reused it? and did you just hand tighten it afterwards? because some forums say you need specific foot torque or something
forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1374387 this forum has all the torque specs you will need. I reused the gaskets, on the next change I'll be replacing them.
Make sure u can open the fill plug before the drain plug
im glad this was the first thing i saw. thanks for the tip!
Absolutely!
Please guys, remove the fill plug first. If you remove the drain and can’t remove the fill plug you will be in trouble. Other then that. Cool video.
You are correct I should have done that. I appreciate you checking out the video
Awesome vid, but woah I’m so glad I don’t live where rust is common 🥲
how many qt you put in the transmission? Great video BTW!!
Nice deere
Why only the rear diff?
How many bottles did it take

Bro hahaha. I'm about to do this on my BRZ. I should start making videos
Its definitely fun doing them!
Did you use the same motul gear 300 oil for both the transmission and differential?
Yes
@@NickGT thanks for the quick reply! Love your video man thanks for doing this!
Got a question. Is differential fluid the same as transmission fluid or there's a difference? I'm new to DIY lol
The fluid is a gear oil so it is for both the transmission and differential 👍
Transmission takes more then differential fluid?
Manual or automatic transmission?
Manual
