  • We went for an adventure with friends from @Messy 80 4x4 Outdoor Adventures down the southern coast of WA in late 2023. Walpole and surrounds were sunny, wet, windy, foggy, warm and cold during our stay at Rest Point Caravan Park.
This is a short recap of some of the fun we had while there. For me, 4wding the tracks around Broke inlet and D'Entrecasteaux National Park were the highlight. I had always wanted to drive the tracks and finally got the opportunity.
We missed having our former furry navigator and supervisor Nigella with us for the trip, but we were eagerly awaiting the birth of a future navigator and supervisor. Nigella will never be replaced, but having a four legged friend to share your adventures with, makes them so much better. In this case though, it was better not having a dog with us as we couldn't have done the tracks we did. One of the couples who had brought a dog with them, had to stay behind when we went out. As Nigella would have said - 'NOT fair!'
