On-orbit installations are expensive and difficult to install - there are many technical problems even without space-warfare, so nobody is interesting about hunting for satellites of other countries.
Because if you have issue with your satellite, you can always ask other country for access to channels of satellites belonging to other country.
Will space be the new international battleground? - Will making up questions to run your mouth ever cease?

Depends. The way the world is reorienting and as international commerce constricts, the threat will rise further.
Let's advocate for peace on Earth and in space. Let's unite to explore the stars, build colonies, and collaborate instead of fighting. Why continue with conflict when we can work together towards a brighter future?
Because they have to fight for control.
These wars between nations is kind of like racism, its childish behavior that keeps humanity from prospering towards a better future instead of destroying the planet and one another.

This may be national star wars day but I seriously doubt the other beings in this universe would not allow us to weaponize space. At least not far away from our own planet.

We haven’t updated our Space Treaties since the 60s. If a nation were to attack our satellites, it’d be like getting sand thrown in your eyes during a gun fight. The U.S. stands the most to lose in a tactical attack like this.
Only a China would has a business in destroying US satellites in case of Chinese invasion on Australia.

Because the US keeps sanctioning them, engaging in proxy wars, speaks poorly of and belittles them. Not to mention the 24/7 subterfuge and sabotage.
The U.S gained a lot of power and now it's insecure about it. Paranoid about countries where they don't speak the same language.
