Riverland is spread over four buzzing districts within Dubai Parks & Resorts, each with a different theme:, French Village, Boardwalk and The Peninsula. They are all connected by a 1km long river - hence the name of the destination.
Dubai Parks and Resorts is a resort located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Spread over 25 million square feet, it features more than 100 rides and attractions, and consists of three theme parks: Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World and Legoland Dubai.
The official opening took place on 18 December 2016.
Opening hours are Saturday to Friday from 10AM to 10PM.
The entry fees is 20 AED which is totally redeemable from any of the restaurant within the riverland.
ATTRACTIONS IN RIVERLAND DUBAI
THE PENINSULA
• The Peninsula dates back to the 19th-century architectural theme, which features impressive bridges connected to the piazza. A river surrounds it, and there is a large outdoor venue where visitors can enjoy festivals and concerts.
• A large outdoor space which is the heart of RIVERLAND Dubai, and the location for our festivals and concerts. Inspired by impressive 19th century architecture, it connects the various districts of RIVERLAND Dubai via a series of bridges. Check out the licensed restaurants and bars here after enjoying a day to remember.
BOARDWALK
• Relive the nostalgic American era of the 1950s in the Boardwalk zone, where you may encounter jugglers and street artists. It is located close to the entrance to the Hollywood-inspired Motiongate theme park. The golden palm trees of California and glamorous neon signage will bring back memories of early America.
• American street life in the 1950’s is charmingly portrayed in this vibrant hub of entertainment. It’s the ideal location to stroll with the family, taking in the street performers amongst the palm trees, impressive architecture and neon signs.
THE FRENCH VILLAGE
• If you want to experience the charm of Europe’s cobbled streets and lilting street music, The French Village is an ideal location. Its meandering alleyways, towers, and water wheels transport you into a different world.
• The pebbled bridges and a replica of Medieval Dijon, the historical capital of Burgundy, are worth visiting.
• Experience the ambience and allure of a stunning French village in the 1600s, with its historic architecture and water wheel. Enjoy a stroll through its quaint alleyways and discover its coffee shops and Mediterranean inspired eateries.
DINO MANIA LASER SHOW
• Witness a dazzling spectacle of light and sound at Riverland Dubai’s Laser Show. A captivating explosion of light, sound and colour against the night sky, this is the ultimate finale to a wonderful day! Watch this dazzling themed performance daily at 7:30 PM, 8:20 PM & 9:30 PM.
YOU CAN GET TO RIVERLAND DUBAI USING THE BELOW TRANSPORTATION OPTION:
Bus: Take bus line DPR1 that originates at Ibn Battuta Bus Station at Ibn Battuta Mall and brings you all the way south to bus stop Dubai Parks & Resorts, VIP Parking which lies right next to Riverland.
Alternatively, if you prefer driving, head southwards on Sheikh Zayed Road E11. Once you have passed Ibn Battuta Mall, there is only a 20-minute drive left to Riverland and the other theme parks that belong to Dubai Parks and Resorts. All are located to the left of Sheikh Zayed Road and well signposted.
