Hong Lu doesn't know how to cook, he distracted Mersault before he had a chance to roast his cooking like he did to Don and Yi Sang. Out of these 4, Heathcliff is the only one who I'd let cook a meal for me (Faust would probably spend 3 hours making a grilled cheese sandwich, and it'd be good, but nowhere near worth the wait.)
Ryoshu and Gregor can bake but they can’t cook which is better than what can be said about other sinners (Sinclair can probably make a simple cake or sum but yi sang puts flan in microwave only for it to explode but then again Gregor attracts health inspectors…)
A PB&J is only 300-400 calories, which is standard for most sandwiches. Calory wise, Hong Lu's outclasses it by a significant margin, especially considering how much butter was used for the pan.
