I’ve created the top 16 Men’s Major/AA/A teams with all of the attributes based off of their 2023 statistics. I’m creating a Slow-pitch league in Super Mega Baseball 4. If you see this, thank you. Listing the defensive positions at the beginning was extremely helpful.
I saw on one of those rally home runs that big John was starting to laugh because at this point what can you do? There is nothing they can do when resmondo just keeps sending balls all over the park. Without a doubt in my mind the only team that can beat them is themselves.
The same thing happens today as it did when i retired 20 years ago. Teams load up on bombers. Thats it. There were a few teams years ago who were great defensively and when they won tournaments you always knew the diamond dimensions had something to do with it. Always said in the advanced classes of mens softball if you made the fences 400 ft, 80-90% of the players who play today wouldnt even sniff major or high a ball.

Who is watching the grill when these, puffed up, dressed up men are playing backyard softball? Can you pick up second base? I need a plate for my hot dog.
I played in a league like that but the one rule was the first one on each team to hit a home run is the only person that could hit a home run. Anyone else that hit one would be an out.
Beast agreed but he was the MAN, mvp and he’s not that anymore. He’s my favorite so I’m. It dissing him. He was a triple crown winner and his numbers are way down 🤷♂️
Connell is 40 years old and is 43rd in conference usssa this year with a .727 obp. He's still a great hitter and a pretty damn good second baseman. I actually think he's having a better year then last year. Of course, he's not the same hitter as he was during his triple crown days. You have to be a special player to compete in your 40's in the conference and still play in the field.
@midwestrider7 The Pro M ball is better this year. Plus Resmondo had a ton of injuries last year. Having Riley, Wolf, Mullins and a healthy Bazat and Briggs makes for a better deeper team. When you have a deep squad it's easier to roll as a lineup. When you can move Clark from leadoff last year to 7th this year, you know that your lineup got better.
No offense, this is a low quality game to record and broadcast. There is nothing worth watching if all they do is hit bombs and can’t play defence and can’t make it to 2nd on a shot to the centerfield fence. These guys might be the “best” but its not audience friendly to watch. I’ve seen rec ball be far more exciting to watch than this. I wanna make sure these clips don’t pop up on my feed any more.
Thanks for sparing me. I made it to the 2nd inning and its boring as hell. There is nothing fun and exciting about anything I’m watching. Whats the point of running a 5 man infield if the rare time the ball goes up the middle, the defender can’t make the play? Why waste your time running a 5 man when all the balls go to the outfield? If I ever played 1 games like this, I would quit and move back down. If these guys are so good, they should be swinging wood bats and we would see how good they are.
@@itinkle Teams went to the 5-man infield after sanctions put HR limits on all levels to prevent sandbagging. It's pointless to run a 5-man with unlimited HRs to me. The skill is to hit it where they aint, or to hit a HR on command.
