I was psyched for this, then I realized I was confusing the Black Cauldron with the Sword in the Stone. I like The Black Cauldron, but The Sword in the Stone has remained unfinished for almost eight years. They can add plenty of characters as well as another spell to Merlin's list. One to gather all the activities all at once. Much like the one that gathers potions, instead of clicking on 48 green check marks.
I agree. I'd like to have Madame Mim in my kingdom.

@@haydenandlonglong182 I have the theory that he will transport himself from his tower to the kindom, after leveling him up to level 3, and that will be an excuse to put his pet Archimedes as a premium character, to get a boost in his spells, yet one of his activities will be "make magic (aka back to his tower)" just to transport himself
@haydenandlonglong182 it could be something like the Toy Story characters coming up again in Act 4. They just have Merlin say something like "Oh why didn't I think of this before? We need to bring my friends to the kingdom!" Or whatever and you start working to unlock Arthur and Archimedes, maybe Mim could get in there too somehow

I’m really excited for this mini event! Black Cauldron is one of my favorite movies, and very underrated. I hope to get all the characters, especially Eilonwy! I’m real happy this is an event!
I hope that Tarzan, Chicken Little, Tron, Cars, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Home on the Range, Brother Bear, A Bug's Life, Meet the Robinsons, The Fox and the Hound, Elemental, Oliver & Company, Treasure Planet, Bolt, Dinosaur, The Good Dinosaur, The Great Mouse Detective & Wish get added into the Disney Magic Kingdoms app. I also hope that Lumpy the Heffalump from Winnie-the-Pooh gets added to the game someday, too. And maybe a Woozle character as well.

I love that the Black Cauldron is finally included in the game. However I think that the option of Eilonwy’s blue dress is unnecessary since she doesn’t have another outfit during the movie. That option should be included instead for the gown of Sleeping beauty’s Aurora with her Briar Rose’s outfit.
Maybe Sword in the Stone next? Saw a fish in the clouds that reminded me of Arthur when he was a fish, also saw merlin taking a stroll
Or Haunted Mansion since they're bringing out the cupcakes and we saw the ghosts and the movie came out this year

Eilonwy: Are you okay? Do I have to call the police?
Ariel: Do I have to assume that you made a deal with an underwater sea witch and that she took your voice in exchange for a pair of human legs? (Eilonwy: I existed before you!)
Snow White: Have you ever had true love's kiss? (Eilonwy: I haven't undergone puberty yet!)
Jasmine: Do you have daddy issues? (Eilonwy: I don't even have a mom!)
Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Elsa, Anna, and Raya (in unison): Neither do we! (Aurora, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, and Moana are all offscreen due to their mothers or both parents still being alive by the end of their movies)
Rapunzel: And now for the million-dollar question: Do people assume all you problems because a big strong man showed up? (Eilonwy: Taran is a mere pig-keeper!)
Aurora: Fine then, that means you're not a Princess. Get out.
Eilonwy (infuriated): YES I AM!!! WHY IS MULAN DOING HERE?! SHE IS NOT A PRINCESS YET SHE IS STILL CONSIDERED A pRINCESS!!! AND WHY ARE ELSA AND ANNA DOING HERE AS WELL?! THEY ARE BOTH QUEENS AND NOT PRINCESSES AND NEITHER IS K-

Arthur and Archemidies are definitely going to be the new permanent content characters.
What about another Sleeping Beauty update, adding not just King Stefan and Queen Leah, King Hubert, and Samson the horse, but also a "final battle" with Maleficent as the main antagonist with her turning into a dragon (the final battle begins with Maleficent not only becoming furious after the curse on Adventureland finally being lifted, but also due to her becoming extremely impatient with the player at that point), allowing the player to finally welcome her to the park once she is finally defeated (as she outright refuses to leave in a fit of rage), with her quests involving her making the player help her try to curse the park again. Or perhaps even a Fantasia update, including not just Yen Sid the Sorcerer, but also the hippo and alligator ballerinas, the centaurs and centaurettes, the brooms, the dinosaurs, and even Chernabog acting as Maleficent's "superior" and partner-in-crime instead of having only Maleficent be the sole main antagonist of the game as part of the plot being retconned, with Chernabog replacing Maleficent during the Tower Challenges in order to make Maleficent playable after she finally gets defeated. However, it's more likely that the Fantasia characters will probably be added first so that Chernabog can replace Maleficent as the Tower Challenge boss in order for Maleficent to be faced off in a "final battle" and then subsequently made playable after being defeated as part of another Sleeping Beauty update in order to conclude the final act of the main storyline taking place in Adventureland. Also, Merlin walks very funny. And will they ever add not just more characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas (such as the inhabitants of Halloween Town), Hocus Pocus (such as Binx and Billy Butcherson), and The Black Cauldron (such as The Creeper and the three witches of Morva), but also characters from The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (like the Headless Horseman) and Frankenweenie (the other Disney+Tim Burton movie) next Halloween?
Princess Eilonwy is one of my favorites she's like a Disney princess of Halloween! Also I like for new dress she looks really beautiful and blue and it's my absolute favorite color too!❤

Do you think they will ever conclude the main storyline with Maleficent as the main antagonist?
How about this: After the curse on Adventureland is finally lifted with the help of Merlin, Maleficent is then revealed to have not just become furious because of this, but also has already grown impatient from having to wait for so long for the player and Merlin to confront her. Maleficent then appears and decides that she's had enough of being shunned for too long and proceeds to turn into a dragon and attacks the player's avatar (usually Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey) and Merlin, beginning the final battle.
After Maleficent is defeated, she turns back into her humanoid form, still enraged from her defeat. Merlin then orders Maleficent to leave the park immediately, but Maleficent refuses, claiming that the park was supposed to belong to her and her fellow villains, and then reveals the real reason why she cursed the park in the first place: When Mickey and friends first built the park with Merlin's help, Maleficent was the first person to arrive, and politely asked them if she can come to their park, but Mickey and his friends were so terrified of seeing her that they immediately fled in terror. Maleficent then considered this as an insult, but still thinks that the reason why Mickey and friends are so afraid of her in the first place is because she wanted them to afraid of her, and concludes that if they won't let her have any fun at their park, then she won't let them have fun at the park at all, and immediately placed an evil spell on the park, and allowing her and the other villains to try to take over the park by force, with only Merlin being brave enough to face her head on (alongside the player).
Mickey and his friends then try to apologize to her for running away from her out of fear, but Maleficent refuses to forgive them, yet still lets them "win" and let her into the park anyway, with Maleficent vowing that she will one day try to curse the park again if Mickey and friends continue to still be afraid of her, and that they all still should be. Merlin then reassures the player that as long they are brave enough to face Maleficent head on, then Maleficent will not curse the park again.
After Maleficent is finally welcomed into the park, most of her quests involve her trying to make the player help her try to curse the park again and spread misery towards the other characters out of pure sadism. Additionally, the plot and Tower Challenges will be retconned so that instead of having only Maleficent serve as the main antagonist, she will now be portrayed as working alongside her "superior", Chernabog, with the former antagonizing the player both before and after her defeat and subsequent welcome, and the latter serving as the main antagonist during the Tower Challenges, even having Maleficent summon him so that the challenge begins, and when it finally ends, depending on the player's success, congratulate him for his evil deeds once he finally goes back to sleep for the moment (if the challenge was lost) or be enraged over his defeat and vowing to avenge him until he wakes back up again (if the challenge was won).
After the Black Cauldron mini event, update 76 would be continuing the main kingdom storyline for The Sword In The Stone, meaning the possibilities of featured characters like Arthur, Madame Mim, and Achamedis!!! The hint is shown where Merlin is no longer locked to his cauldron, but moving around the kingdom :D

FINALLY! I been waiting for this update for few years. I was about to give up on that game. But know this is awesome. All I ever wanted is Horned King, even Taran, Princess Eilonwy and Gurgi. Ahh man why did they add the Harp old man instead of Creeper I like that little Goblin.

How do we get more trophies to level up our lands??? I'm not always going to win each contest and be number 1. I only got 1 trophy. My other lands can't be leveled up without trophies and I'm not a millionaire to keep buying gems to buy everything I need.

The Black Cauldron is really back for this game. Maybe I'm exaggerating with what I'm going to say right now, but seriously it's hope that the 80's movie is on a new course of future crossovers and Disneyland walking by. Let's say that I have memories and a little nostalgia when I saw the movie. It didn't seem like a big deal to me, but some characters caught my attention, the adventure and the strong moments and in the end I have had it like a childhood since I was 8 years old and I didn't see it as terrifying the first time except for some uncomfortable scenes and chilling, for example, the dead who rise from the dead and jump on top of the mortal soldiers. What I'm trying to get at is that I was waiting for an opportunity for this film that almost killed the studio, since Disney put aside everything related to The Black Cauldron. But after 38 years at least Taran, Eilonty, Gurgi and Fflewddur (Since The Horned King already appeared in other previous crossover series and others) are here with the "magic" opportunity. In conclusion: Affection and childhood For this one.

Since Halloween is coming I think I can picture Sally the ragdoll and princess Eilonwy being friends! Suppose if Sally could be Ariel for Halloween and Eilonwy being Princess Aurora they would make great costumes! Sometimes I could picture Alice from Alice in wonderland being dressed up as Cinderella for Halloween! She would make a cute Cinderella! And that little guy Gurgi if he likes apples so much I wonder if he likes bobbing for apples! But sometimes I wish he could try some others fruits too like bananas or grapes or perhaps something sour like lemon and lime drinks perhaps? Anyway I sure hope the Disney characters will have a wonderful Halloween party this year especially King Jack Skellington halloweentown! Sometimes I wish I could go to Jack and say your majesty because he's the pumpkin King even if he doesn't wear a crown or anything like that he's still a king and his own way! And sometimes I wonder if Sally the ragdoll would be one of the Disney Halloween princesses and what if she wears a pumpkin orange ball gown that would be nice wouldn't it? And as for the Aristocats I know that cats don't wear costumes but perhaps The Aristocats would because they are Disney characters so there's no harm in that! I could even picture the kittens Marie Toulouse and Berlioz dressed up as Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger! I know Harry Potter isn't Disney but any Disney character would be whatever they want to be for Halloween even if they're not Disney costumes! And when in Rome do as the Romans do! Right?!❤

It’s a great film, Right before the Disney Renaissance but it’s very very dark and was way too scary for kids just look that the horned king haha- It’s actually Disneys unwanted child they try very hard to hide it that’s why it’s incredible it’s coming to this game

What do you think it would probably mean if Chernabog were to eventually replace Maleficent as the Tower Challenge boss at some point in a future update (even having Maleficent summoning Chernabog so that the event would begin)? Would it mean that we are almost getting close to a "final battle" against Maleficent and having her become playable after she is defeated? Why would making Maleficent playable after being defeated in the "final battle" mean that Chernabog will have to replace her during the Tower Challenge events from that point onwards (although in order for that to work, Chernabog will need to debut in the game first before the "final battle" against Maleficent even gets to happen)?

And with the fish cloud in the sky, I cannot figure out what the heck the hint is supposed to be. We already have Lilo and Stitch, Luca, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, so what else could it be?!?!? Definitely not Cleo in Pinocchio (shape is giving me that impression) but cannot figure out what other fish there is!!!
Understand it could be Arthur or Merlin when they are fishes, but it is not the correct shape of either of them in fish form. And yes I see the Mickey cloud but it does not help nor do I think it makes a difference to the hint

The fish shape of the cloud appears in ALL updates, so it doesn't imply anything.

Not many classics left in the Disney vault it seems. Nostalgia aside, I would have thought they would be running an actual haunted mansion event rather than all the disjointed characters they seem to just drop in and make no sense over the past few years.

Will they probably add an Atlantis: The Lost Empire update to cross-promote the game Disney Dreamlight Valley (due to it blatantly referencing Atlantis throughout the game except for the characters), with Milo and Kida making an appearance in the game? Which game will the King and Queen of Atlantis appear first? (following Disney Heroes: Battle Mode and Disney Sorcerer's Arena)? And will Kida's status as Queen be acknowledged in either game? And will they also add Dinosaur and Treasure Planet updates as well for that matter?

I'm excited to see the Black Cauldron added to the game but It is a shame Hen Wen was not included. I also agree with others about characters being at the end of the season pass/game pass. I pay for the season pass and have yet to be able to claim the end characters. Not all of us can sit on the computer all day or throw down hundreds of dollars to get enough gems to just skip tiers. I would also love to see Gargoyles added to the game.

Would definitely be more excited if I had gems to get the premium character. Also would be more excited if all the characters were available for everyone instead of the elite that buy the kingdom gold pass. For me, it’s a hard pass as I never even get halfway through the free pass. I’m someone who plays multiple times a day I’m at level 61 so there’s no reason that I shouldn’t be getting through the free pass. Also because of the deplorable drop rates for O’Malley I had to use 100 gems to get the last two tokens for him. I had him unlocked three days before I could even collect tokens for him and then couldn’t even collect enough of his ears without the use of gems is absolutely ridiculous.STOP USING HIGHER LEVEL TOKENS FOR TLV’s. I literally probably have 20 gems only at this point.
Right there with you. Only had to spend 50 to get that last hat, but I had him unlocked early and was waiting for a day and a half to start getting parts. In days gone by, I would have welcomed him with a day to spare. The drop rate was ridiculous.
All you have to do to get to the end of the pass is Do the tasks. That’s what I do & haven’t missed
@@patdurfee9943Thats what I do! My goal is 2 spots a day and you can achieve it easily. Also, the higher the reward rate in the weekly, the better. Don’t switch those 24hr tasks for something easier!! 😅 I’ve made it through all I’ve them with at least 5 days left to just keep collecting potion.
@@patdurfee9943not always works I play from 9am to 1am I do all the tasks and never had the chance to end the free pass if you don't spend money you can't have anything O'Malley was hard to get too I spend the 500 gems on Berlioz and then no token was dropped for O'Malley! I had to spend money on gems so I could got O'Malley now I only have 50 gems also I'm on level 145 of the season and it ends in 16 hours I'm going to get nothing if I don't spend money.. so the all you have to do is do the tasks doesn't work!...
