"You live in a dream, it's not going well, there's nobody to help you, you're going to hell" I love the guy jumping up and down throughout the whole song, celebrating this song. We've all been there at some point, and BJM's music was/is there to help us all turn back
Trickydicky: Hi Anton - I'm going to have this played at my funeral and you can't sue me for royalties unless you join me there later - and we could also have another selfie! (Born again atheist)
If pointing out the obvious makes me an asshole then yes I am. You can make two guitars sound fuller than that by arranging them right. Even different chord inversions for god sakes, but 4 guys playing A D G in root position is just a wash out. He's got some pretty decent tunes too. He just needs to stop smoking pot for a minute and think logically.
Didnt you think one minute about there is more about it than logic? Anton loves his old instruments, and he loves to play in big groups with cool people sharing the same energy. Its all about the vibe. All.
Sometimes people do things because it feels right, using intuition instead of pure cold hard logic and rule following. If everyone followed all sound recording rules we would have a bunch of music that sounds the same. It's fun to experiment and explore. You might discover something that sounds great that you never would have if you had followed all recording engineer guidelines of using x microphone at a distance of y etc etc. I think this performance sounds good
