Noit-Art - I have been making my pages for the last 6 months. I have many pairs together and I came and watched you again to make sure I know what to do next. Thank you so much!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dot from UK Thank you for for all the wonderful tips and tricks you show us not only how to bind loose pages but ideas for art pages too. I love your videos and the relaxed way you present them, keep them coming they are so enjoyable. Love to you and keep safe, Dot x
I'm so thankful for your channel. Me and my 10 year old granddaughter learn so much from you. Now we know how to bind all her and my pages together. Thank you again for sharing.
Make a little 'scabbard' from fun foam for your rotary cutter - no more accidents! :) Also, I love your "I'll be back" style. I've had to skip through lots of craft videos because they make you watch everything they are doing when it really isn't necessary.
Wonderful, I've been wondering how to make my individual journal pages last. I love your teaching style, no detailed cutting, just cut it...lol. Sometimes we get caught up in wanting to do things perfectly, but that can be stressful. Your way is practical and fun! I love watching you make your pages, I've sometimes wondered what on earth are you thinking, but it always works out...LOL.
This is amazing. I love how you simplified the binding process; just glue and paper! I must admit I was thinking 'oh your poor desk' when you were cutting away at the ends. I wish you would do another video with another journal cover for the remaining art pages....
Oh this is so easy and neat and so doable for beginners.. thank you .. you truly make things so easy and explain so well in detail .. i love your passion in helping us so much .. thank you .. and Yes please do a flip through.. your work really inspires me to keep trying out new things .. thank you again .. lotsa love from Johannesburg South Africa xxx
I have been wondering what to do with my paintings! Thank you so much for this video! I love this idea, and I am going to get started on making my art journals!
Thank you or sharing your work. It looks great and really helped figure out what I can do to bind my art journal. I bought book rings and gommets, thick thread and etc. Nothing was coming together right. I must’ve looked at a dozen videos before finding yours, so keep sharing.
Hey Noit, to avoid burning your fingers, use something made of silicone to press down on the hot glue (I know you've got lots of silicone mats). :) Thank you for sharing this technique… my husband gave me a box of A4 postcard sheets that he no longer needed, and I've been using them to sketch and doodle on, and have been wishing I could find a way to put them together in book form. I love this idea as much as I love all your other work. Again, thank you!
My pages are neatly attached to my journal, however after seeing this video I want to pull them out and do this technique- I loved the entire idea especially the burlap as the spine. Thank you dear Noit for this fun video- 😀Margalit
I was sooo excited to watch this -I am sure you are better than Picasso or whoever - I have to try this - your art is a joy - it’s fun & so easy (I hope)I wish I could show u some of the things I have done because of your valued help along the way. I feel as if we know each other for a
I was basically looking for THIS how to video months ago.... no one else has made a binding EXISTING pages journal video. But now, months later after I'm 100% down the scrapbook/ art journal/ smash journal rabbit hole and have one of each. I found you haha. sigh
Your journal is Huge and very Beautiful! You must do a page a day,. Thanks for the idea. I have loose pages to put together but wonder if this would work with heaver paper. TFS
Thanks for this. I did a class yesterday that taught us how to bind double pages but not loose singles. I would be interested to see how well the hot glue adhesive goes after some use. I have never had any luck with the terrible stuff. I usually find everything I've glued with it comes unstuck after a few months. It is however very effective at burning my finger tips 🤣
Hi - thank you again!! I have watched this at least 4 times. I am ready to start making some sets of pages. May I share the details so hopefully you will advise me?? ❤️❤️ I am using 5x8" (about 12x20 cm) index cards as my pages. This is my first journal. I want to use the same index cards for the binding. They should be strong enough and the right height. Can you tell me how wide they should be (this I guess is one part I never really got ❤️) .... then I can start to cut a couple of bindings and start to put pairs together. Thank you again for your generosity!! ❤️❤️❤️ . The whole journal will be vertical - should I get 2, 3, 4???? bindings per card. Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@NoitArt Thank you so much - so all I need is 1" strips for the binding? (my other question would be answered - that would be 5 strips per 5x8" index card) - I am so eager to start cutting and making pairs - thank you again!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@NoitArt I have put 9 pairs together so now I have started!! I used 1/2 the index card - 2 1/2" - since I watched the video again and saw you used 3". My dexterity is getting better again but the larger size helped me. Thank you again!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This is truly awesome! I plan to do something similar. I’m curious about how long the entire process took. Was this all done in one day? (Minus time for glue to dry) Thank you for giving me inspiration.
I am SO happy to find this technique that does not require stitching!
Thank you Gail
