That thing is pretty nice! Looks like a great device for young artists looking to get into client work, to produce high quality stuff for sure!
4:46 (if yo are left handed, the orientation of the tablet can be changed if needed).. this specific sentence made me buy the tablet without any hesitation. Very affordable, and supports my poor left hand. Thank you!
This is my first graphic tablet, and it's really impressive and I didn't regret getting it at all.
Also, if anyone is bothered by the chargeable pen and lack of tilt, there's an upgraded ver of this model called H1060P (not 1060Plus, just H1060P). It's around 100$ for this one, but still cheaper if compared to Wacom Intuos M.
That said, not sure if this review is sponsored or not but you did a great job describing its pros and cons imo. (Well, you didn't mention the SD card slot that the tablet have but not a big deal since it's more of an addition than a selling point.) I agree with most of them, even if the only Wacom I used/borrowed was the small Intuos ones so I can't really compare, haha. Still would 100% recommend to anyone who want a decent and large tablet under 90$.

You have to use the pen that comes with the tablet. It’s there for a reason

Absolutely. This is a perfect beginners tablet that is fully supported in windows 8
I've had this thing since 2019, nothing works, no clear instructions on how to set anything up other than charging the pen and downloading drivers/updates. Beyond that, it's a piece of plastic taking up space. Glad I didn't spend much on it.

If you are a heavy Lightroom user I wouldn't suggest it. It works but the scrolling capabilities have been hampered so it's really hard to use it in that program. Not sure if there is a fix for it , but that's just my opinion . You might want to go with something that is more heavily supported for the every changing Adobe suite .hope that helps!

Bruhh, i got really bad experience with this garbage. My pen broke after using for 12 months. Just buy tablets with battery free pens.

The important thing here is "Thats the wrong model", you need to recommend the last version of this tablet because come with a "battery free pen" and "tilt function".

There's the XP-Pen Star 03 8192 edition that sells for only 69$, just like the name it has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, 10 x 6 inches large active area , 8 shortcut buttons they've improved the software and quality as compared to the previous Star 03 which had 2048 levels of pen pressure. The Star 03 V2 is newer version of the Star 03 iirc. Its a good, cheap, tablet for the price.

Thanks friend! Yeah the d5300 is a solid camera. We started with a Canon and a Nikon and Jer decided to sell his canon and get the d5300 as well so it works great for our studio! Hoping to do a studio tour in the near future
i have this model and much prefer it to the smaller and more expensive intuos small, smoother surface. have to say i prefer this huion over wacom

Similar price, H1060p is just a few dollars extra but has a larger screen size, although, idk if that means it's better or not for the health of my wrists and comfortability for getting me into the flow state easier. Obviously, there's a middle Goldilocks ground when it comes to screen sizes but idk how much that is

Cant get mine to do anything. downloaded drivers, studied tutorials, just doesn't work. Brand new. Does nothing!
I’m getting this as a new tablet as my Wacom pen and touch has hit its retirement haha. I couldn’t find a replacement pen for it and any new Wacom pens wouldn’t be comparable (or costly enough for me just to get a new tablet). Thanks for the review.

I have this model since 2020 and never been able to activate the pen. I’m now trying again and still nothing. I might as well invest in an Apple iPad. 😢
is there a way to reduce the latency? maybe i am not used to using these types of tools yet(first time ever). but when i draw and lift the pen...it keeps drawing!
I don't think the charger cable for the stylus is proprietary, it looks like a 1mm charger plug.

what machine are you trying to connect it to? and were you able to access the latest drivers from the manufacturers website?
@@TheTechVengers its am Acer Inspire laptop and yes have installed removed and reinstalled the drivers from Huion and the lights on in the pen whilst charging and the lights come on on the pad when pressing the pen to it but the cursor doesn't move and its not showing as installed?

I strongly don't recommend this tablet even for beginners.
I tried the iPad pencil gen1 and I also have this tablet.
It is a waste of money because it doesn't work the same plus it has so many minuses it is not worth it.
You have to connect it to the PC, charge the pen, plus it wont draw as buttery smooth as an iPad does
Plus you cannot see what you are drawing on the tablet itself.
Overall this is pure garbage, don't waste your money as it is not as smooth as it looks like.
The pen has much more friction then an apple pencil and you don't feel drawing, more like just doing the job.
You compare apples and oranges, the one (huion) is a tablet of around 50 bucks and the other ipad is a tablet of a couple of hundred.
Nor to mention that huion has 8k pen pressure... While the ipad... Well Google and cry

It's like... rather using mouse, u use pen to move the cursor on your laptop/pc.
Soo basically u can do anything with tablet even tho it's not for drawing. Yeah u can write with graphic tablet. But on some app that supports drawing feature. Like paint, ms. power point, etc
Some ppl out there even use graphic tablet for playing game like.. OSU!
But it will be kinda a waste if u buy graphic/design tablet just for substitute the mouse's function.

This is my very first drawing tablet and I have literally no idea how these work, so where the fuck do I go to draw.
excellent question! So you can use this tablet with alot of apps out of the box. You can first start with Microsoft paint as it works with that and then work your way to apps like photoshop and lightroom! hope that helps

You will need a computer in order to see what you are drawing . The tablet just acts as a drawing pad
This tablet is without screen, there are other ones with screen but they are more expensive

Tried to replicate the issue you described but not having the same issue. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers? What you can also try is a different computer and see if it does the same thing. If not, might have to connect with their support team

Hi it should be in the driver software where you can assign each soft key. Have you checked their site ?

It sounds to us like it's either A) defective hardware where the soft buttons don't work. You should get it exchanged from the place you bought it from
Or B) the driver is corrupt. I would try it on another computer if you have one to factor that out

we cant write using this. no spaces are coming in the characters. and works above the surface as well even if you are not touching. i bought it for writing, and not suited for me. waste. at least it should work only after touching the pad. it really suck. bought it for tutorials and wasted money.
You can probably sell it or return it. It's not designed for writing.
