the toyish version about 70 bucks, but this one is a decent beast! edit: stock form busting better than 45 degrees of loose+rough stuff is GREAT. nicer tires on that Defender will help lots, the height and width of the stock tires looks about perfect on it, but they're kinda "toothless".
Well Phil this is a very capable Crawling Rc, it handled them different terrains well 👍 fantastic Test and a Fantastic Rig, I got new Wheels for the TRX4 CLONE and I think your going to like them, I couldn't believe they fitted 😁 definitely a came Changer and as you said when you get decent wheels for that it will be even better mate, fantastic video bro, really enjoyed every minute of this trail test👍😁👍
I reckon you will get them for yours and there a fantastic price from Ebay, 😁 I've got a weathering video coming up on my MND90, it's about 20 odd minutes long but it had to be because it was a how to Vid lol , I tried to make it not boring 🤪 have a great weekend mate 👍
Great video as always. I know I really liked mine, well my wife now does anyway, lol. I put oil in the shocks and upgraded the wheels and tires and it made a big difference rite off the bat 😎👍
I watched a Kevin Talbot vid the other day and the gang was cruising through the woods with their crawlers, this reminded me of that video, some people walk their dogs, you lot walk your crawler lol It's hilarious, you seen a group of people walkin' along with a pack of dogs around em and you guys with your R/C cars look pretty similar hahaha
Awesome running vid Phill worth waiting for I want one now more than ever. Huge thanks buddy awesome channel so glad that I subbed you, Keep up the stellar work my friend! 😉👍
Looks a very capable trail truck but would love to see how it copes with rocky climbs. For some really grippy 2.2 have a look at the Louise Champs or Rowdy's but with firm foams to take the weight. When is the sound system being installed?
@@TomleyRC The Loiuse Rowdy's offer superb grip on all conditions but don't look that scale. Perhaps Pro-Line Super Swamper XL 2.2's? The 1.9's work well on my SCX10 II and Wraith/TRX-4 hybrid
@@TomleyRC I have a 1/6-ish scale project in mind and wondering if it might be wise to buy an inexpensive rtr rather than purchasing individual components. Decisions, decisions :-) Oh, and my wife is wondering if you might have another "nut taxi" vid planned in the near future. She's hooked on your channel now as well as myself. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
Hi Tom, Just wondering if you know of any good quality (probably metal) front and rear axles for this crawler? I do a lot of rock crawling with this one and I've started to see the plastic wearing off. Your help is much appreciated. Max
I've been waiting for this video. Can you please tell me if a 10" (250mm) figure, or better still a 12" (300mm) figure, would fit in Woody's seat? Thanks again for another great video.
I am sure I'm guilty this. Why do we approach an obstacle head on then we high side the rig? You did it on a tree root or branch. Going at an angle would be the best way but we fail to do so.
Hi Tommy, I have one and wanted to know what Wheels and Tires are you going to use. I personally think the 2.2 rims are too big for scale. Would 1.9 do and a 130mm tires? What do you think?
Great recovery, and it’s got lights, great for night time driving ,she made it 👍🏻
Good old Woody! He never baulked or flinched, and drove very well : )
100% Focused on the task in hand! You could see the concentration in his eyes! haha
I bought the green version, can't wait to run it.
I wanted the Green one. But it wasn't out at the time. I think they are doing a white one as well.
What a big beast. That body is COOOOOOL. 110 oh yeah. Real potential to make something amazing with that thing as it looks great to start with
I may need some larger 3D printed parts :)
@@TomleyRC No problemo. Got to sit and do your wheels for the new project ;)
I uploaded this without checking it post edit. I hope it's ok haha...😎👍

most intriguing, might get one for the missus! I think my 664 will still beat it but a great kit.
Oh, He got new RC car!
Woody gets all the good ones 😎
Seems to perform very well 😎 softer springs and a bit of added weight would add to the scale look
That thing just eats terrain 😁 nicely done sir😁👏👏👏👏🇬🇧
Cheers dude

Yes, makes a big difference sorting the shocks out
Beautyfull video again, an very interesting to see, what this thing can do. Could be a nice cristmas gift for my fathers son...
It would be a good gift!

absolutely fantastic
Well this one is a fantastic one. Well. I was taking a break for sometime . Missed few of your videos
Cheers Pritish, I did notice you hadn't been around for a while. hope you are ok?
Awesome video my friend fantastic Land Rover definitely open for some serious visual and mechanical mods👍😊🇬🇧😎
Yes, I'm looking forward to modding it!
Just bought this baby on Banggood.
How much do you have the Link please tank you
ghis turner I believe at the time of purchase it was like $220-$250. Can’t remember exactly but I think it’s taken a healthy jump the last few months
Really, really nice ride, dude! Beautiful spot! 😃
The truck handles itself pretty well, hum? Really capable! 😃
Yes, handles good!
Excellent stuff, now I want it
Awesome video very nice rig and crawling great job thumbs up 👍
Cheers dude 👍
I really like that thing
It's really cool. And massive!
Flawless as always

No problem dude. Appreciate the support.
That's a loud hum from motor or is it the esc?
Think it’s a bit of both
Sharp rig.....I'm a big fan of orange
Great video!
Thank you 😎👍
Waterproof electronics? Metal gears? To upgrade it what scale parts you need to find?
I don't believe the electronics are waterproof. Yes it has metal gears 👍 (it's between 1/7 & 1/8 scale)
Awesome video
Can you try to upgrade it, would be cool.
I will be yes.
Hello after 1 year you still have it? Have you made any upgrades? I was looking to get one but I'm afraid to not wreck something and make it unusable.

Sound system is in 👍🏻, wheels on their way.... just deciding on tyres!

Bellissimo !!!...ma ci sono già gli upgrade ??...molto bello anche il personaggio !!!..mi è venuta voglia di comprarlo anch'io! !!.. ciao mitico !!!
No upgrades to this yet. Just a bigger battery
@@TomleyRC grazie dell'informazione! !!...comunque ordino anch'io questo modello perché è troppo bello !!!
Grazie a te del bel video che hai realizzato! !!
Prego 👍
the bit larger battery sure took care of weight to pull itself UP with!
can't wait to see it run with some good chunky tread on it
Do you think the axles on this are actually 1/10 scale? Width? Thanks! Happy New Year!
Good question, I've not really checked, but it looks more like 1/8 than 1/10

Hey, did you find any parts online? I was looking to get one but I'm afraid to not wreck something and make it unusable. Have you upgraded anything?

Woody is 9" Tall. So a 10" figure 'should' be ok. Thanks for watching 👍
I am sure I'm guilty this. Why do we approach an obstacle head on then we high side the rig? You did it on a tree root or branch. Going at an angle would be the best way but we fail to do so.
Who the driver how big. Gi joe big ??
Thanks for great video! Its waterproof?
I'm not sure it is waterproof.
1/7? nice☺👍
15" Wheelbase = 1/7.3 Scale I think
Would a standard size Barbie fit in it as a driver?
Maybe this versus the new traxxas 6x6 crawler? 🤔
The new TRX6 is over 3 times the price of this in the UK.... not sure it's worth it.
i changed the motor/esc and it has absolutely no torque? any ideas?
What lipo is this and what weight is the shock oil? Looks really good
5000mah Awanfi. 70wt oil
is that the same place keven tibolt goes?
Alina Chanel No, Keven Titbot doesn’t live near me 👍🏻

I think 1.9's would work well as well. I have a set of alloy ones from Banggood coming. I think some Super swampers would be ideal.
Wat u stuck woody in with
He's just holding on tight! lol
how much is this thing and where to get it
Link in the description dude
Sucks because now that these are popular, they are close to 400, sometimes even close to 500.
can you send me the link where to buy it?
It's in the description dude 👍
Hi... How much pay this beautiful defenddr please!
Link in the description dude
FROM WHERE TO ORDER TEII ME NO
Is that 2.2 tires?
Yes, 2.2.... 130mm(ish) tyres
44 WOOHOO FROM TEXAS, COMMENT 20, DAM, THAT THING WOULD TAKE UP HALF MY BED IN MY BIG TRUCK, 😎😎😎🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
haha
That's 1/10 scale, nowhere near 1/7th scale
1/10? Is got a 15” wheelbase and is about 23” in length. 😎👍
The D110 wheelbase is 110 inches so this ones somewhere between 1/7 and 1/8th scale
Hello there, for m'y first crawler my Heart balance between the trx4 clone and this beast. What IS your opinion ?
