I played it for almost 10 minutes and heard my cockatiel scream in the exact same way as it is in the video. I finally found her after struggling for half an hour. I am very grateful to this video. You saved her!🙏🙏

While he stays with you, don't give him chocolatezsalt and don't use any chemicals near the bird (paint, lacquer, aroma sticks or candles). Write about the bird to your local facebook groups and to the local pet rescue group. Also it would be wise to tell about it tonyour neighbours, they could see the owner searching for the bird and tell him about you, and might tell the local vet as well, so that he could pass thr info. If you have any questions, please ask!

And later she flew to some whr else from the top, n I kept calling her n playing this video in speaker.... And finally I saw her on the top of someone's home...which was locked... I tried to jump the gate wall n failed ... But I kept calling her name.... She just flew to my hands after a while ... Guys, that moment wen she flew to me, was the best feeling in my life... I hugged her lightly to my chest n cried... She was so scared.. And she was hungry.... I gave her food n water... She is home now.... Many told me that other birds will attack her... Or she will die with hunger.... But my colleagues supported me like hell...they stood up with me like pillar....they understood my pain... Lesson learned: never lose the hope... True Love will always win.... Thanking God for giving me back my MILI😍😘
I'm going to play this tomorrow for my cockatiel's. When I got them I was told I had a boy and girl. Later find out in years it was 2 boys. I love my feathery babies. Hello please reply , my cockatiel, she/he (don't know gender so let's call her A she) makes heart wings, talks (she keeps saying her name repeatly , and says yes in our language (we say her name and yes alot so she learned it) she whistles, she makes up her own language, whistle + talking = nonsense etc etc, she makes the female screams that u showed in the video, she also have all dots over her wings , she is young, probably like 4 month old or 5. Not fully weaned yet, she started talking and whistling at 3 months she is very active, moves alot and sometimes she makes the male sounds too but mostly female sounds that u showed, please reply.
Boys usually have a fully/almost fully yellow face (not including the red) while girls usually have yellow around the eyes, which kinda makes them look like a ninja Hope that helps!
I just got mine 3 weeks ago. "He" is 4 months. I think he might be a girl because he seems to only make this sound, but sometimes he makes a really nasty scream. I was very very discouraged as I was in the same situation as you with the hissing and side stepping. I bought my birb a playground stand and he sits with me by my computer. I give him pellets as a normal diet, and every hour to couple of hours, I'll give him seeds. Even though it's only been 3 weeks, I've finally got him to flock call me using "Hours Long Cockatiel whistling/talking". From my experience, he only started flock calling me after he became tamed (at this point, I taught him step up). In conclusion, use bird videos and hand tame her before you can expect to hear continuous sounds.

Lost our lutino cockatiel Sizzle y'day, he escaped while our poor dog was being sick. Searched for 6 hours, he was flying overhead for 25 minutes. He was spotted at the local park three hours later, but we were half an hour behind him. @@parrotcorner thank you. it was hard for me at first. i was used to feeding them the first thing in the morning, them singing and occasionally coming at the window and disturbing me in my class (we had a spare balcony which we had netted off and released my 'tiels into so they cud fly all day freely to their heart's content and it had a window adjoining my study table), that lone budgie that had escaped from someone's house and miraculously flown into our home flying into my room whenever the balcony door was opened, all of the 3 birbs flying towards my mom when she called them, i miss all of this.

Cockatiels just stands with no voice when they come to a new home. Give them some time.
Nothing to worry about! Thats common with new birds, give them time and eventually they will start chirping when they feel safe and content
Enjoy the quiet time. Ours was shy for the first couple weeks and now she is a clingy toddler that never shuts up...lol. We love that damn bird though

Icry everytime I hear this sound..igot a cockatiel last day and iwas so happy...he only lasted 2 days....he was okay the whole time but we went to sleep and woke up and he was dead...ihate my life man

My parents told me we can't hav my 'tiels anymore, they poop too much and demand constant attention. Now here I am, spending my last day with them and my lone flyaway budgie, trying to make them happy. Now they are on my shoulder, deafening me with their chirps. Life is cruel😭

@@thewanderingartists they were sold off to another guy who lives 50 km away from my place. apparently they are doing well and hav bonded very well with their new owners!!
@@parrotcorner thank you. it was hard for me at first. i was used to feeding them the first thing in the morning, them singing and occasionally coming at the window and disturbing me in my class (we had a spare balcony which we had netted off and released my 'tiels into so they cud fly all day freely to their heart's content and it had a window adjoining my study table), that lone budgie that had escaped from someone's house and miraculously flown into our home flying into my room whenever the balcony door was opened, all of the 3 birbs flying towards my mom when she called them, i miss all of this.
