    June 25th Edit:
Hello Everyone! Yiman here - I connected with the Delutaya Translator/Discord Mod team and they let me know there were various inaccuracies to this video. In order to rectify this, I'm going to include all video timestamps providing both corrections and clarifications to these points that were off. I want to sincerely apologize to the Delutaya community and going forward I was do my absolute best to prevent misinformation of this nature happening again.
00:17 - Delutaya does not live in an apartment; she lives in her parents' house with does not have seven stories. No balcony was ever mentioned, either.
1:30 - Each "Holofive" talent debuted on different days starting on August 12th with Lamy, 13th with Nene, 14th with Botan, 15th with Aloe, and 16th with Polka. The 15th was the debut date of Aloe alone.
2:00 - Delutaya has never talked publicly about her mother being ill nor that she intends to use the money she earns for her mother.
3:35 - Delutaya is an alias that has existed far before 2020. Additionally, much of the material used as ammunition to justify harrassing her was from this Delutaya twitter account that existed before her Hololive debut. The idea that she'd create a new identity after having lost the will to continue with internet content creation is contradictory. While it may seem nitpicky, it's this persona that existed prior that not only gave the antis a direction to move, but also the fans that would reach out to her and ultimately provide her the path to recovery.
4:00 - In the clip referenced where Delutaya talked about domestic violence, she provided no details other than that her brother received the worse end of it.
4:30 - Delta has never given an explicit reason for why she endured her father's tyranny
5:10 - Like 2:00, this is an assumption
6:27 - Confirming this was not one fan, but two different groups of fans, one from the English-speaking community, one from the Chinese-speaking community, that got in contact with her. This was only possible due to an impostor trying to take advantage of her username appearing and Delutaya getting online in order to warn people about them.
6:42 - This correspondence was from a single fanbox comment however does not actually represent the actual convo that Delutaya had with the group of fans who told her about Fanbox.

I remember how it went down back then. It was really confusing to the overseas and mainly western audience, cause there have been multiple issues brought up. Hololive didn't have a as strong track record as it does now, so there were doubts about their sincerity, too. Some Japanese antis complained about Aloe talking shit about soem Niji vtubers before as an indie as well. Online, it appeared a lot like a clash of cultures on top of the personal drama.
I wish she didn't make the choice to graduate, but then again, I've never been in her situation. It could've been unbearably tough, and getting hate calls in a home with an abusive father and a sick mother was probably way too much to handle, even if it was just one or two calls in total. Thank god she made it through. Hopefully she will find success and ease in the future.

@@adrianaslund8605 That's how a lot of people in the west saw it back then. The official graduation notice from Hololive claimed something along the lines of them trying to find a solution, but ultimately Aloe decided ending her activities would be the best course of action. Naturally that didn't come across too genuine, not after the suspension.
However, given the context in the video and Hololive's solid track record since then, I think it's safe to say there's a good chance that statement was true. Aloe seemed to have been in a rough spot without any sort of harassment, and with her beating herself up over the screwup of her one big chance, it could easily have led to her decision, even if - theoretically - Hololive management would be actively trying to make her vtubing career work after the suspension. Imagine having an abusive father and suddenly he gets a hate call about his daughter... it wouldn't take much to make Aloe's life absolutely miserable if it went on for a while.

Been a long time supporter of Delu and honestly as much as she is doing much better these days, a part of me really wished she was able to remain with Hololive and have that life she really deserved. It has always disgusted me that absolute sh*t bags on the internet just couldn't let go of mistakes made by her and just let it be. I remember Mano's debut stream fondly since she was just so excited to have been given that opportunity as it was a step in making her dreams a reality. Having it be taken away from her due to such pettiness still angers me to no end.
Alas her story is just one of many and for Delu to be still with us and at least trying to have a happy life as this new persona & given this 2nd chance, i just wish her all the best and a long prosperous career.
So thank you for giving those who don't know the up & downs of Delu a chance to get to know her. She's a special one that for sure.

That, in general, is just antis being antis. We've seen it happen recently with Zaion Lanza and how the internet steamrolled her until she was able to give her side of things through an "intermediary" or the borderline State sanctioned harassment campaign of Kiryu Coco by the mainland Chinese antis or more recently with Pikamee and who she reincarnated into (as it is a current, ongoing drama at this moment in time of posting). What gives these antis so much power is anonymity. There are many studies that show how peoples' attitudes change towards others online when they can't be identified. For example, the long running question of asking someone what they would do if they were invisible or completely unidentifiable, their answers say more about their morals and personal ethics than they may let on.

I was devastated when she graduated all of a sudden. A discord was created called M.A.S.S standing for Manamoto Alliance Support Squad. There a big project was being organized at that time in response to Aloe's graduation many of us wrote messages, created websites, collected tweets and artworks to show to her and hopefully reach her and tell her that we will always be with her and support her no matter what path she has taken. Even if it was a little we were able to save a person's life due to the many efforts that was done. I was a month late discovering her fanbox but it was all worth since we were able to personally convey our support to her. I am proud that she has come a long way and is now doing really well. Unfortunately, I had to stop my subscription due to my own problems but to see her endure and become resilient has given me hope. Thank you for sharing this and giving awareness.

However, please refrain from mentioning the content of this video to Delu. There has been quite a few people that have been commenting about this video and situation on Delu's streams. I know you all mean well and your hearts are in the right place; but again please do not bring up these topics as it is a painful subject for Delu and can bring down her mood.
With all that said, I am personally not a fan of this video as it is riddled with inaccuracies or flat out wrong information; specifically the part about the one fan. I do not wish to dissect all the issues this video had in the comments section as I'm sure the creator was working with what they had or found and tried to piece together what they could even when it was incorrect. One thing is true and that is Delu has had a extremely tough life and went through some extremely depressing events.
Thank you all for showing your love and support to Delu. If you wish to support her even further than please check into her FANBOX. Delu also has a extremely active Discord server that keeps up to date with all the latest information (corrects the errors this video has), live stream translations and even notification pings for when she goes live. This is the definition of "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" as you know some of her story, but then felt the need to make up BS to fill in the gaps, and as such, this video is an insult to her supporters who were there from the start.
Firstly, if you actually knew what you were talking about, then you would know she didn't jump from "her apartment building" as you claimed, she lives in a house, not an apartment building.
Second, it wasn't ONE fan who saved her and ONE fan who reached out to her.
She already knew that overseas fans were sending her messages of support, she knew of their existence, and their efforts during the 2 week suspension. So when she came back to twitter, many fans came to show their support, many stayed silent to not overwhelm her, but there were quite a few who reached out and talked to her - myself included,
So no, she didn't think of people as the enemy, and her belief in her fans never waivered for a second, as they had stood by her and supported her throughout.
So, when she opened up about her situation, it wasn't ONE fan who reached out to her and then told her about fanbox, because several fans offered support at that time and tried to find ways to help her, including having her use her Amazon Wishlist so she would have the means to eat meals in her room.
And what immediately helped her, and improved her situation was the wishlist as that meant she had everything she needed to live in her room without needing to go downstairs.
And when fanbox was suggested, this idea was supported by many fans, and she was only initially hesitant because she wasn't sure how it might work as she wasn't able to 'create content' at the time, of cause people said that didn't matter, but someone suggested she could make journal / dairy entries, and the rest is history.
Because the way Fanbox works, it was always going to be something that would help long term, but wouldn't help immediately, whereas the wishlist filled that gap, and right from the start there were a few hundred people who were supporting her however they could.
There was no one lone mythical fan that saved her, it was FANS

Watch the clip of her saying these things. I was honestly shocked. I really didn't know she experienced the horrible stuff behind her hiatus(I wasn't in the rabbit hole then). She tells the story while giggle. I guess that means she already found herself in this world.

    The scenarios she went through...
I'm pissed off she couldn't get any resources herself to get through all that.
I can only pray she keeps earning these glimmers of hope to keep going, and that she armors through.
But fuq internet and the system.

Damn. This one really hit home. I think the description sums this one up really well as "tragic but beautiful." While she definitely struggled and did things that could've ended horrifically, it is so inspirational and triumphant in a sense in the fact that she was able to push through and find a place of stability, and it's nothing short of wonderful to see she's doing well.
I honestly didn't know the full extent of Mano/Delutaya's story, so this video was very helpful in that regard and hopefully helps other people to jump on the support train for Delutaya.

Delutaya is one of the strongest people I will ever know, and her story goes to show that even when it feels like the world is out to force you down into submission, there will always be someone out there who wants nothing more than to help you stand up again. A small act of kindness can go a long way.

To be completely honest I had no idea about this person's existance until I saw this video in my "Recommended videos" section here on RUclips (i'm writing this comment literally right after I finished watching it) and I am sad to hear that such things have happened to her (or anyone really, but that's besides the point) and even though I now literally nothing about her other than what was stated and shown in this video i'm glad to know that her story (so-to-speak) has a happy ending, atleast for now.
I'm sure that she's definitively going to have even more ups and down, but for her sake (as well as her mother's sake) I hope that said highs are really high and that the lows are as high as they possibly could be due to being lows.
So (for example) a friend of hers potentially saying one negative thing about themselves (while she hears it) rather than them let's say inflicting serious physical self-harm (which she'd probably see later) or commiting suicide (which would very obviously hit harder than hearing or seeing said friend making a negative comment about themselves or inflicting self-harm).
Also, on a slightly unrelated note: The last thing mentioned about her (that being the "quote" she made) reminds me of the "I don't want to survive, I want to live!"-quote from Wall-E.
I sincerely apologize if I wrote or phrased anything in a confusing manner as well as for making overly long run-on-sentences (which i'm also about to do now). 😅
I tend to write, phrase, say and explain things in a confusing manner due to me not having the easiest time with coming up or realizing how to write/phrase/say/explain something; and the reason as to why I tend to make overly long run-on-sentences is because i'm usually not too sure when I should stop a sentence i'm currently making and make a new sentence (most often happening when what i'm writing about is related to what I just wrote).

Man, from hearing about her Mano days being cut short and her fellow genmates honoring her by keeping her on their posters to being so elated finding out that she had found her niche as Delutaya
Then I get caught up with stuff on my side of stuff and I turn back and I see this?
Like Vtubers appealed to me because many of them went through many hard times and honestly were/are more relatable and "human" to me than plenty of creators/streamers and you could tell just by how they talked and how they behaved over the course of their career
And I know falling into the rabbit hole also opens you up/signs you on for the relative misery of graduations, personal situations, oversaturation burnout (who doesn't want to be an anime character nowadays?) Etc.
But fuck dude, shit sucks, I'm sorry that Delutaya went through all the stuff she did and I am extremely happy she's still with us. I hope that she's come out this with some newfound strength that let's her piece everything together and push forward, Im really proud that she is able to hold on and keep on going
But hell, I almost stay away from most vtuber related content save for some random clips and whatnot because whenever I look back it's something that pushes me right away (the most recent one before this was the mass graduation of Niji ID members) or almost feels manipulative to watch ("Check out my twitter, which just so happens to also have a link to my softcore/hardcore porn on fansly or whatever")

As some one who has been in the Hololive Fandom since Sora's debut and also being among thos who love Aloe, being appart of the Fanbox crew from the very beginning. As hard and heavy hitting as this is. I am glad some one finnaly brought light to what the poor girl has been going trough for the English speaking fans. Many of her English speaking fans only ever catched small hints as to what hell she went trough. Or dont know untill now that Delu-chan was Aloe.
I have been asked many many times why i have a Delta in my Twitter handle, only ever replayed with a Headset Emoji and many instantly understood why.
Thank you for bringing the Story of Delu-chan to light for the fans who dont know Japanese or understand only smal parts of what she has been talking about.
We might not have been able to save her Smile as Mano Aloe, but i will be damned if we fans dont run with the second chance we have been given and keep her smileing now as Delutaya.

Bipolar is such a difficult disorder, our only treatments really just aren't enough. Lithium has too many side effects, SSRI's and SNRI's don't mesh well with manic episodes, and more intense mood stabilizers, like low doses of anti-psychotics, have extreme side effects. I truly hope for a breakthrough in research for those struggling with bipolar disorder.

When your in such a dark place in life, a little flicker of light can be enough to light your way. With that i gotta give a shout-out out to Nene.
Nene quickly rose to my top 3 fave hololive members with the way she keeps Aloe alive and well in her heart. She still holds on that the 5th gen still has 5 members.
And that vid of her putting up a 5th lantern in minecraft for Aloe was really touching. It was such a sweet and wholesome gesture, that I can only conclude they're really close behind the scenes.
Im at least glad to know Aloe had people as kind as Nene and this random fan on her side.
