in an established relationship: I was in a bubbly flirty mood so I said, how about verbal forplay for the entire time we are on the date....
it was alot of fun as the premised was absolutely no physical touch!

    Cliffnote Summary📝
    1. Be an intested introvert, rather than an intresting extrovert
    2. Create a pattern interrupt (unusual question, etc.)
    3. Share good personal stories (that are relevant to the situation)
    4. Make physical contact during the high notes of the conversation (emotional moment)
    5. Come with the mindset to create fun and laughter
    6. Play a game (relates to point #2, pattern interrupt)
    7. Create a first time experience (is memorable)
    8. Go deep (have big talk instead of small talk)

Wow, antifreeze story was powerful. Holy Spirit is Real. God speaks to us & gives us intuition.

Great story about guidance from Spirit! My background is as a counselor. I've found that very few people are afraid to talk about themselves, so just encouraging that is a start. But really listening to the other person and making them feel heard is the best way I've found to keep a conversation going. Getting comfortable with silences is important. They give you space to breathe and think for both of you. If you feel like it might be going flat, smile at your date, and ask them something about what they may have said earlier. It shows you really heard them and are interested in them.

I'm not a great conversationalist unless on a topic I'm educated about. So if my bf starts on a topic he knows about, I ask him questions to engage.
I do ask questions like 'what is your favorite memory from your childhood?' Or 'what was an impactful moment that you had in school?'
I'm a deeply sensitive empathy who is not shallow, so I find the answers to these questions can tell you a lot about a person.

IDEA SUGGESTION: When I'm on a dating site, so many men get upset , confrontational and defensive when they ask if I visit with any other men! I immediately say but bye....but why do they get so defensive and possessive?

    • @hiannahgus574
      @hiannahgus574 Год назад +6

I find that puzzling, especially if you have never met them and are dating to meet people so you can then find the one that you would like to get to know further. It’s not the same as having multiple relationships going, you’re just having meet and greets.

    Hello
Thanks for sharing this message but my problem is my fiancee is always on his phone whenever am with him. He can be on it till i leave. I have talked about it but still the same. if we can chat or have a good conversation then we are talking about something serious to him. I really feel bored whenever I'm around him and i don't know what to do

I'm not very good at telling stories, partly because my memory is really bad and I can't really think of anything interesting worth telling. I don't want to make something up, but I seriously can't think of a single thing. I don't think my life is uninteresting, and I've done different things, but nothing that can be turned into a story really.

I usually ask them when chatting on a dating site to tell me something interesting about themselves that isn’t on their dating profile. You wouldn’t believe the number of men who are unable to respond in an interesting way. Needless to say it doesn’t progress to meeting up.
