      ANSII X12 guides are available for all the transactions supported. This channel is primarily for healthcare EDI transaction. Additionally, we do have our own style of EDI Guides, called DG's (Data Guides), which combine data with outlines and rules - for rapid development. Guides are sold. IF you want, you could look for "Companion Guides", to get some free ones - just pick a transaction.

    Hello. Thanks for sharing..Can you tell me in which segment date of service is given? Is that both start date and end date segments are same or different?

    • @remorabay
      @remorabay  3 года назад +1

      DOS (Date Of Service) is DTP*434* in the 2300 loop of the 837 INST and DTP*472* in the 2400 loop of the 837 PROF

    Can you explain on the HL segments and the possible details that can come inside in a 837

    • @remorabay
      @remorabay  3 года назад +1

      HL segments show what level, or loop area the data is located in. The HL-03 element will equal 20 if this loop contains Billing Provider info; 22 for Subscriber and 23 for Dependent info. HL-01 is a running counter. HL-02 is a parent pointer. HL-04 will tell you if there are subordinate loops - example: HL*?*?*22*1~ ....that "1" tells you that there is a subordinate loop; in this example, because HL-03 = 22 (Subscriber), you KNOW that there is a Dependent (ie a child)...so, expect an HL*?*?*23*0~ AND related NM1*QC*1*Dependent Last name*Dependent First Name*....~ etc.

    • @solanki0412
      @solanki0412 3 года назад

      @@remorabay Now I understand, so i guess in most cases for Billing provider HL, there won't be any subordinate loop

    • @remorabay
      @remorabay  3 года назад +1

      @@solanki0412 ...For the HL...20..~ you will always have a 1 = Subordinate (ie, the doctor has patients)...however, the HL....22..~ may have a 0 = no dependent

    Hey, can you do a video explaining the process flow of the HIPPA edi transactions with real life examples

    • @remorabay
      @remorabay  3 года назад

      Possibly.....there are several transactions in that scenario. Do you have a focus? Ex. 837 and 835....or something wider: 834 Enrollment, 270/1 eligibility, 837 claim, 276/7 claim status, 835 Remittance...? A flow diagram and explanation may be easier to visualize.
