    I am performing the first descale after 6 months from purchase. While dealing with the water tank I have removed the floating plastic (I believed it has something to do with the water filtering ) and after that the tank wasn't recognized anymore. So, for anyone who has this issue: DO NOT remove the floating round plastic, it can stay there during descaling.

    Hello Siemens, thanks for replying back. I have a new Siemens EQ.3 s500 espresso machine. For some reason, I cannot turn the rotary selector in order to set the grinding level, even when the grinder is in operation. Are you familiar with this issue and is there a way to fix it?

    Can it stay in calc n clean mode? I replaced instantaneous heater beceause it was broken and I found water under the machine. My problem is that the machine asks for fill the water tank but there is water in the tank. Display or control panel is flashes and the machine does not react to push any buttons. How can I fix it? Thanks.

    Can you use a vinegar solution if you are not able to get the calc cleaning tablets ?

    Hı siemens, ı am happy so far with my coffee maschine but unfortunately it’s stopped to do the foam for cappuccino 😢, is there any chance to recommend smth? I try many times to put correctly pipe but still doesn’t help

    hi ive just purchased this after my old jura broke down for good. I have old jura cleaning tablets and old jura descaling tablets can I use them in my new EQ 3? thanks

      Hold the espresso button. Release when it flashed. When you happy with the volume off coffee. Press the espresso button again. It will now stop and memorise it until you change it again.

    Is there a harmless way to clean ONLY the grinder part of the machine? Or do we need to clean the grinder from time to time?

      Hi, thank you for getting in touch. You will need to clean the appliance, as advised in your user manual. The relevant parts will need to be removed and cleaned accurately on a regular occurrence.

      @@SiemensHomeUK Thanks for the answer☺️ The manuel has no information about cleaning the grinder part. Does that mean that it can only be dismantled and cleaned by the tech support? Can I do that myself in any way?

      Hi, if the grinder has an issue, then yes it will need to assessed by an engineer. If the grinder unit is not advised on how to be dismantled in the manual of your model, then it should not be attempted by the user.

    from both pipe place water comes only no caffe anymore, its just 5 month siemens and i dont know what to do and dont know the reason and how to fix.

    How often do you have to run the calc and clean process, I’ve had mine since Christmas Day and have had to run the 1st one today, seems like a short amount of time ??

      I think there is a number about calcnclean. For example after 100 cups of espresso it will say do the calcnclean thing. Its like that i guess

      AFAIK it's a float that lets the machine sense when the water level is low.

    After 5 usage my Eq 300 collapsed .The calc and clean light is on and can not be turned off..I hate this machine.I just bought ıt on 1 st of decembre

    My coffee tastes like plastic :/ i just bought it. I hope the taste gets better in time. I tried to clean it a lot but it still doesn’t taste good. edit: i called siemens and they took my machine and cleaned it. now coffee tastes amazing.

      Try change the grinding levels. You can find the knob inside the Brewer unit. Change it only when the brewer is operating
