Just came home from a show in my tiny ass little city. It's no more than an hour since they played this very song. I haven't been able to leave my city for years due to anxiety, and so I had pretty much given up on seeing most of the bands I care about. Imagine my surprise when Big Brave, one of my favorite bands, was booked to play here. I am so thankful that they came here and played this tiny crowd. I don't know about the rest of the crowd but for me this was a very special moment!
I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, And Mourners to and fro Kept treading - treading - till it seemed That Sense was breaking through - And when they all were seated, A Service, like a Drum - Kept beating - beating - till I thought My mind was going numb - And then I heard them lift a Box And creak across my Soul With those same Boots of Lead, again, Then Space - began to toll, As all the Heavens were a Bell, And Being, but an Ear, And I, and Silence, some strange Race, Wrecked, solitary, here - And then a Plank in Reason, broke, And I dropped down, and down - And hit a World, at every plunge, And Finished knowing - then - ) poem by Emily Dickinson. Stunning music
This just sends shivers throughout my entire body. My spine is about to burst. With every new album they just surpass their last. That first riff is killer and to be drowned into a drone later on... Thank you!
This is wonderful. I love the fact that this gives more anticipation for the album, because I can't tell if this album will be a major departure for you all, or this is balancing out something incredibly crushing on the album.
Heard this on 6Music today, awesome. Off to check back catalogue as I think this is the 2nd track of yours I've heard on that station that I've Shazammed
This is kinda boring, to be honest both in the composition of the video and the song itself. But you seem super talented and I cant wait to sample the rest of your album!
This music band was the most rude and uncultured music band that I have ever seen, because a homeless person's behavior and speech was better than this band. His fans who don't know how rude this female singer and a guitarist are

Damn…. This timeline isnt healthy for most of us.
I felt a Funeral, in my Brain,
And Mourners to and fro
Kept treading - treading - till it seemed
That Sense was breaking through -
And when they all were seated,
A Service, like a Drum -
Kept beating - beating - till I thought
My mind was going numb -
And then I heard them lift a Box
And creak across my Soul
With those same Boots of Lead, again,
Then Space - began to toll,
As all the Heavens were a Bell,
And Being, but an Ear,
And I, and Silence, some strange Race,
Wrecked, solitary, here -
And then a Plank in Reason, broke,
And I dropped down, and down -
And hit a World, at every plunge,
And Finished knowing - then - )
poem by Emily Dickinson. Stunning music
Damn, that’s some of the heaviest poetry I’ve ever heard.
Me seems 😮a parting Glass shining through this. Like it.
Shane on! ❤️
Why are random words capitalized? Thanks for sharing by the way.
@@92SMIF In my ''Collected poems'' they are. The reasons for Dickinson to do this are not clear.
I'm trying to write a review, but... just see, hear and feel. Thank you BIG|BRAVE, a sincere thank you.
I think this might be the best song from Big Brave yet
Hell yeah, strong vibes from the Body Collaboration which is one of my favourite albums. Very excited for new work.
right now first time i hear it with headphones. its minimalistic and massive. thank you for this waltz!

love the vocal processing
love the mediative vibe

Wonderful! Thank you! From year to year they are getting better and better.
Beautiful work, thanks for sharing and creating 🙌
This is phenomenal!

Haunting! Love this.
Amazing!!
Always interesting sound explorations!
Pure magic
Did not expect the musical contrast to the vocals. Very enjoyable indeed. One to keep an eye on ❤
Come to San Diego!!!!
This band makes me very excited to be alive in 2024
I hope they help you through the next years of your life.

Instant #top2024
Great song! Should check on here the Andrew Bird song also using Emily Dickinson’s poem
My Mum told me Emily Dickinson poems. This is beautiful.
I wish I was a director cuz man i'd make some fuckin SCENES to this!
Is this Yoko 2.0?🤑
Subtle racism. Do you ask every skinny white boy if he's the next Elvis?
In my honest opinion a opposing guitar track would pull this song together just dont mud it up
There are opposing guitar tracks here. An ascending bass line and a descending melody line.
Changing something in this song would be like changing something in Coca Cola's secret
