- I produced and directed this video for Byron Lee's Dynamic Sounds with the location being the label's recording studio. There is another TV cut where we mixed in a lovely young lady but this one is the original Director's cut.

Watching performig on sumfest despite his health and his sons helping him the whole way was a tear jerker. Glad I was brought up in this era in Jamaica. Great wonderful memories.

So many memories. Thank you Sir Freddie the legend 🔥
I love Freddie and He looks so delicious in his youth wish I met him ❤ 😍🔥
Massive respex, Bredda Mr BigDaddyLeo... you've really captured this great artist's love & vibe, still speaking to us across the decades. Feel like I'm right there in the studio with that Big Ship Captain... the horns, the bassline, and his infectious smile. This is what crucial music sounds and looks like.
No doubt, Massive, this is one of my songs of the century, it always sounds like it was just made. Stay safe.
Big Ship Freddie. Iconic! 💥💥💥

Oh Rally.
I wonder if he wrote his songs?. I've always loved his eyes how they are far apart.
He might have written some but I doubt he wrote all.
Freddie: Thanks 4 those demos No strings, no Amp for now..sorry.
How comes this was played on 1980?
The title says 1980s. The song was released in 1985 or 86, if I am not mistaken.
Who is the bassist (the bassline got me hook to this song first!)? And those horns players? One Luv ❤️!!!
Bagga walker from studio one
You need to come back into the Music Video Production game fadda, this iwas well put together. I think David Rodigan and BBC 1 Xtra may have adopted your idea for the same type of updated performance in a studio setup similar to how you did in this version on RUclips.
Give thanks blackwolverine1, still in the game but do mostly corporate and public interest (PSAs) commercials, as the music business has really changed. My days songs were drama stories, now is one-paced topics. Subsribe so we can keep the joy going. Blessings.
@@LeoOReggio Yes "I".
@@LeoOReggio dem yutes nowadays can't make videos like you. ol school videos had real meaning.
@@judahandtheasantetribe4life my days the songs were stories, so it was a joy to work, and the artists were not hype.
@@LeoOReggio exactly. Respect fi di works yuh do and mi affi show respect while yuh still alive today.

If you find this song called "dem a go feel it"...a conscious song from 1987 which had a whole video..
Which you probably directed.....
Can you post it??
Winston, was it by Freddie McGregor?
@@LeoOReggio no...the one of the verses was brothers n sister dont carry no grudge...in this time of everlasting love..then the chorus comes back...it was a teachin type song
@@winstonjames2583 ok, but i am not recognizing the song,
Blackman's pride?😊😅😮😢🎉😂❤
