Yes please start an online pagan community! I’m so sad I keep missing your happy hours 😭 I’m a mama of 4 so I don’t get to sit down and get some “me time” in until after 8:00 pm CT! I still thoroughly enjoy watching afterwards though 😊 I think it would be great to have a community to talk to that is like minded in paganism, however I’m not sure about being a part of a coven. Maybe it’s just my inexperience/ignorance having never been a part of one. Thank you for another wonderful video ❤️
I am solitary as well in the south! Very difficult to find those whose share my interest. Many people here are still under stigmata and choose to remain in the broom closet.
I am a Norse Pagan. And when I first started, I went to FB and was not happy there. A lot of "gatekeepers". I went to Insta and it was WAY better. I was definitely looking for a community, I long for that! ❤ I found The Wisdom of Odin community and it has been THE BEST thing I have came across. He has a discord (patreon exclusive) and it has been the best way for me to find others near me! I have been to 3 gatherings so far (Midsummer, and 2 Fall gatherings) and I have met people who felt like long lost family. Seriously. I have met my people. ❤ I feel that community is important. Most cultures were tribal, we were a "village". So the saying "it takes a village" is so true! I'd love for our society to get back to that. ❤
How do you avoid the Nazi-esque Germano-Arian-worshiping followers of the Odinist path? They keep coming out of the woodwork every time I try to find Odinist or Asatru community.
Me personally, I don't search for Odinists or Asatru people/pages. Mainly Odinists because from my experience, those are the kind of people I find.. I search for "Norse Pagan" groups/hashtags. If you want, check out my follow list on insta. I avoid those with Nazi ideals. @shebear93

Sorry I missed the live version, good topic. I feel at a certain point community becomes important. Afetr 32 years of mostly being solitary in my practices, I feel it, especially in the sage aspects. Those types of communities allow for larger personal growth through sharing and learning from different perspectives. It also gives you people to just talk to who understands, or can connect to on a different level. The biggest issue I see happen with online groups is that they get too big to have those more personal connections and ability to take deeper dives into topics with real conversation. I think smaller, more private online groups would help build that Coven/ Family (what a coven is like) feel to them that makes them an important community structure. Have a great turkey day!
Just caught the last five or ten minutes of your live chat. I'd like to add that I'm finding more like-minded people online. Over the years I have been part of different pagan and spiritual groups that were well balanced at first,we had much in common, only later for some power crazed individual to come in who thought they knew better than anyone else resulting in the destruction of the group. One poor lady lost her entire business through this. For this reason, I prefer to be solitary, spirit taught. I'm often led to special places like power sites that were destroyed over the centuries - the energies as strong as ever. Usually spirit have some quest for me. It does require entire trust and protection, but they normally advise with this too. I don't do videos but my name on Pinterest gives the gist of how I tick.
I would just like to say thank you for all your videos - I only found them a couple of days ago and have been binge watching them in a fairly random order. Your videos have helped me confirm that I am a Pagan, something I would not have identified myself as before - though for years I have venerated and researched both the Norse pantheon (with a strong interest in the Vanir) and some aspects of the Celtic pantheon - so really I have been a Pagan for years if not decades I just have not put a name to my beliefs. Unfortunately I have been solitary in my beliefs and research, and where I have not minded that, watching your videos over the last couple of days have shown me a lot of things that I did not previously know, and also made me realise that some people might already have the answers to questions I might have or at least suggestions on where to look. And that is what I really miss with being solitary, not having someone to talk things through with. Yes, I do have friends, but religion in any form has always been a taboo subject, so I cannot really talk about these things with them. Again, thank you for the videos
I'm solitary but I have friends online who I would do rituals with. I follow as an eclectic who has Irish German and Cherokee roots in which I draw from. My family splits into Navajo and I love the lore of the people around the world. I see myself as neo shamanistic personally. I love joining others for group ritual. I am also an only child. I often practice solitary. My friends are nordic, wiccan, native American, eclectic pagan, heathen, strega. I love you all my friends and family.
From Washington State, and just now watching this. I'm new and researching where my path is going since I've been wondering and lost for the last few years.

Do a theme style ritual where everyone brings a small dish that helps feed the group for, during, and after the ritual. I live in south central Missouri and am 15 minutes from town by highway. It's something I have thought about to do rituals on my property and set up to host groups. I don't know how to do this and I do have certain fears about having large groups of people on my property but I do want to have a connection with others who are like minded people. Would be nice to find like minded pagans. My problem comes with the fact that most I've met are more into the reenactment side comparative to me where I try and actually live the life. We dress in current clothes but homestead and try to live as much of the old ways as possible. I tend not to do well with the instapagans.
I recently made contact with a Gardnerian coven in my area. They are doing a Facebook discussion group until Covid calms down, we get vaccinated, and can meet in person. But the Facebook group is pretty structured - right now we're studying Thea Sabin's Wicca for Beginners. They are putting in discussion topics for each section of the book and keeping track of the responses. So they will be able to use these discussions to help decide who to take on as students later.

It’s still very new but I’d love it so much if you’d take a look at it. I’m just uploading a VR to Kelly-Ann Maddox’s #happywitch tag atmo. I don't know if you'll see this being so long after the posting, but want relay my experiences. The small town I grew up in the late 80's early 90's in northern Wisconsin briefly had an alternative book store that had work shops on different paths. They were driven out of business with harassment and vandalism. Later my mom, sister and other friends were going to a Wicca for beginners and I was rejected by the woman running it, I think I was about 14 and was never given a reason but was kinda crushed by it.
I like my 2 times a year festivals. Tried the whole Trad. thing; that blew up horribly. Either I don't play well with others (which is odd because I have to every where else and have no problems) or I don't know. Over 20 years soitary.

Good day fellow pagans! I hope you are all doing well in these weird times. I have a question; I am pretty new to the Pagan environment and I'm trying to learn if this is something for me. I've started worshipping at my own home, and I was wondering: When you offer drinks or food to the Gods or the spirits, are you allowed to consume this? Maybe as part of the worshipping process? I am in the dark on this one, and I can't find it anywhere. Happy to hear from you guys!
