I agree; the cost of living is expensive. I am based in St Elizabeth and the cost of vegetable is quite cheap for me as it’s grown here and neighbours who are farmers sell it to me very cheap. Shopping at the supermarket is high; I am from the UK so convert everything back to British pounds; $5,000 JA at the moment is about £30. I can get veg, shopping, meat ect for £25.00 ; does depend on where you shop as have quite a few discount supermarkets; won’t name them and you get a lot for your money.
