The words of the apostle John implore us to not love the world. But what does that mean? How does our love for God govern how we are to live in the world? We must not let a love for the things of this life cause us to chase after that which is fleeting and passing away. Our study of 1 John seeks to grow us in right fellowship, knowledge, and love of our Savior and Lord.
