Tommy Wiseau is the most original actor, director and underwear maker. Sometimes I wonder if he is an alien or a vampire, since he never reveals his past.
Tommy might not be a good actor nor directer but I still do respect the guy. He has this dream to make movie and he follows that dream. Even the film has turned out to be the joke to some. But how many people can do that. Go after their own dream and see it through, And something about him makes him more likable than James Nguyen or Neil Breen.
Adrian Veidt Many people do actually, just because they don't produce movies or songs, therefore they don't become famous, doesn't mean that Tommy is such a bright exception or special. And he actually failed, he didn't wanted the room to be a comedy or a laughing stock, but he adjusted and he protected his investment through that, a clever and admirable move if you ask me, but not exceptional I believe. I'm sure that you have people in your life who follow their dreams every day without a six million budget and they truly succeed, without compromises, unlike our beloved Tommy. Is my or your dream less important or significant than Tommy's, just because neither of us aimed to be famous or change the world? I think not. Is my success on taking a huge project and see it through, less of success, just because you will never learn who I am, even if my projects can potentially benefit you greatly? I think not again. Bottom line, he is not that special and he doesn't belong to a small group of people with high dreams and willpower. But what he did is indeed great.
I was very skeptical about his slavic or, more accurately, polish origins, but after this interview I'm a little more convinced. Around 5:35 he's pronouncing "London" and it sounds exactly like polish pronunciation "Londyn". Also I realized that when me and my friends try to impersonate Tommy we don't need to imitate his accent, we only had to maintain the Polish one, and it sounds really natural. Long story short, either he's polish or by accident he sounds totally like polish person trying to speak American English.

he keeps avoiding the questions. He's polish and he made so much money because he had a store that sold clothes and he sold the building to a new business. the business rents the building from him. And also thats not his real name.

Scott M i know that’s why his movie is so successful because he meant it too be a drama, now that he claims it was intended to be a comedy it takes away from what makes it so special and unique
I don't care where he was born, probably he does not identifying himself at all with the country he was born in, and wants to be an American and nothing else, and that's fine, however, the question about what were his income sources (before he made the room) is much more interesting, he did provide a few answers like selling coats or selling toys, but none of it makes sense, because he already had a few million dollars before he started making the room. Why would a person lie about his sources of income? Either he just had a very rich family in the place he grew up in and they gave him the money, and he doesn't want to say that he didn't earn it himself, or, and this is the more interesting option, he did something illegal to get so much money. BTW in addition, it's already known where he was born, I won't write it here because I respect his right to save it for himself, however, his real source of income is still a mystery, and this is the really interesting question.
The way he dodged that "How did you make your money to fund the room?" question was impressive.

Definitely vampire. All for it!
@@nocturnalflare8457 Maybe Tommy vampire, we'll see.

polish but definitely lived in france
I enjoy his jacket from the Neighbors. Nice.
I know Tommy is hard to understand but how many times does he have to say his aunt had a chicken in the house before the interviewer "hears" him.
I would pay him $12,000 to read me "the poo that took a pee".
Oh my god yes 😂😂

How do you know that? And why do you think he hides it? I don't find anything wrong with that story.
@@dylanyespersen he doesnt
great interview! I enjoyed it a lot
I wonder if Tommy knows Neil Breen?
perwer1975 I'd like to see a collab. I would pay good money.
Tommy said London in Polish - "Londyn". Accident, or... ? :)

"A chicken is a chicken"
In an age where you know what every celebrity had for breakfast, nice to see someone with a little mystique left.
I get a feeling Tommy really thinks he made a great movie.
As Redlettermedia has observed, heavy delusion and narcissism are a running theme with these "black tanktop movies".
This guy is great but just admit that you meant the movie to be a serious drama when you made it.
Scott M i know that’s why his movie is so successful because he meant it too be a drama, now that he claims it was intended to be a comedy it takes away from what makes it so special and unique
Tommy is American. Stop asking him where he's from.
Since he’s from New Orleans!
Lol the question about his money was never answered lol another reporters attempt failed!
its a vampire or a time traveler
