Hola! Enjoying your videos on PM. They are very helpful! I was lucky enough to climb Coba in 2017 before they closed it. In case you didn't know, you CAN still climb a couple (including the big one) at Ek Balam....for now. The view is amazing. I recommend taking 2 or 3 days, base yourself out of Valladolid, enjoy Ek Balam and a few of the AMAZING cenotes out there. Aqua Dulce and Palomitas are my favorites.
I was lucky to climb them in 2015 and have a picture at the top but even then it was a sketchy climb, most people would cling onto a rope in the middle of the steps.
@@3suitcases2022 it was amazing, the view is imprinted in my memory. It was great because it had been raining all through our Tulum tour and when we finally arrived in Coba the rain stopped and by the time I reached the top I could see the sun beating through the clouds and casting “spotlights” on the kilometres of forest surrounding the site. Unforgettable.
