Benditoooooo Lin and that laryngitis :( I can hear the hoarseness in his voice and it makes me so sad. This man works himself to the bone. To be alive at the same time as him while his star shines is such a gift💚 And Emily as Mary was spot on such a phenomenal casting choice. I cannot wait to see this!!!
I had the pleasure of completely loving every bit of this movie, and then growing obsessed with Hamilton AFTERWARDS... so I had a bit of joy suddenly noticing that Lin was in my new favorite movie without me knowing the whole time!!!
I have watched all interviews about this movie so far and this is BY FAR the best interview and my favorite one, I'm so glad that at least one interviewer got to dive deeper in the concepts of every character and aspect of the story, and THANK GOD not pathetically try (and fail) to be funny or try to artificially engage the actors in a funny mood while wasting precious time with the minds behind the movie only for his own vanity... so thank you for this interview!!! and for taking it seriously as it should be with a wonderful movie like this!
I never saw the original Mary Poppins, but I love Emily Blunt and LMM, so I am not missing this one. Also, I am always surprised when I see Dick Van Dyke, because I cannot believe he is still alive after his million + years in show biz. Good for him.
Oh please, see the original one first. You'll love it. And the second one will be wonderful too. I've watched a lot of trailers and interviews and just that gives me chills.
You probably should have considered watching the original before watching Mary Poppins Returns. I grew up watching the original Mary Poppins and it's good to know the original very well. In order to get a lot of what's being talked about in the newer movie and not to mention the references.
Saw it tonight. Practically perfect. Marshall, Magee, Shaiman Wittman, and Blunt deliver COMPLETELY . . . . not so much Miranda's geographically mysterious accent and sound engineered singing.
Lin Manuel Miranda is obviously a big name in the States, but until this movie came along, l had never even heard of him! Seriously, what movies has he starred in?
J A this is his first big screen role! He’s known for writing and starring in Hamilton: The American Musical and writing for Moana. He’s also an Oscar away from EGOT (and PEGOT)!
Emily Blunt and Lin Manual Miranda did such an outstanding performance...going to watch it again. My granddaughter was memorized!!!
" memorized "🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅
Lin is Non-Stop.
•I can't think of a good username• I see you with that Hamilton reference 😂 👀
XD I LOVE THAT!

Lin is my hero and when I told my mom about him she said “who?” And I wanted to scream.

Vanessa Sanchez Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now! 😄😆

Why not just watch the original? You’re going to miss a lot of the inside jokes and tributes if you don’t.
Geek The Girl go see the OG

Geek The Girl b
Did anyone notice that lin called the bike "girdy" like the captain's car in B99?
indra7777777 I know right !!!!!
It's actually "Gertie" - which is a common girl's name from Edwardian-era England (short for Gertrude).
This was a great interview- thanks for these great questions!
Great interviewing, Corey! It’s refreshing to hear well thought out questions in this sort of interview!
3:50 mark's so smart
I can't stop watching that XD
Oh my gosh! The wink at 3:12, I can't!
I never realised Feed the Birds was my favourite until I saw the show on Broadway and bawled my eyes out to that tune
Great interviewer, great questions. I’m impressed.
These questions are great and not boring! Great interview :)
They will look good together!
As in what?
Mary poppin floating up the stairs scared the crap out of me
Corey rocks! Great questions 💖
Amazing interview. Great questions, great chemistry, charismatic and passionate interviewer. Loved it!
I can't wait to see Lin and Emily together😍💜
I think Lin Manuel miranda was very good in the film. The film I don't think would've been as good without him.
In 1967 I was in a chorus class in Hawaii, we learned ALL of those songs!
I want to be friends with the interviewer. What a doll
I feel bad for Lin. I can hear the slight strain in his voice. :(
When???
I love Lin.
Saw it tonight. Practically perfect. Marshall, Magee, Shaiman Wittman, and Blunt deliver COMPLETELY . . . . not so much Miranda's geographically mysterious accent and sound engineered singing.
Lin is a genius, and great at rapping and such, but he's really not much of a singer... which is why they engineered it
It's where the lost things go
My favorite part is I know I climb Big Ben know I know how to write a lamplighter bicycle now
You are my hero
Wait near the end, were the leary's doing sick tricks on glass roofs?
i wished to see a behind the scenes of emily’s mary poppins voice
Please, can someone explain to me what means that phrase in the end what Mary says as she's falling to the bath?
"Off we go"
Yes I know what she says but what does it mean?
Zuzana Holičová it’s another way of saying ‘Lets Go’
@@nvyou101 Thank you very much
Zuzana Holičová She’s kinda saying, “let the adventure begin”.
Wait he actually claimed Big Ben?!!!

He’s awesome and the go to guy since Hamilton.

Mary Poppins was the original Jack Sparrow.
