It is amazing how she brings difficult, theological ideas into public dialogue. What a gift! Nadia might be one of the best at doing this in the current era.
I actually listened to Nadia at the Greenbelt Festival in the UK this weekend and I was intrigued with her. She was refreshing and 'real' and now I find myself listening to her here! She really has a lot to offer.
Refreshingly sublime, cerebral, and uplifting. Intellectually engaging with a spirited dash of comedy. She eloquently offers acutely impressionable perceptions of our society. Just stumbled upon this interview while perusing through you tube. Nadia; unlike so many others, emanates authenticity with no illusory theatrical deception
Keith bram, nothing could be more astonishing than a Lutheran woman giving the illusions of normalcy, she could win an academy award. It is all about a subtle seduction hoovering people into their world of so-called New Age Lutheran Spirituality. And she eloquently offers her own version of our society. In this version, the "Church" shall Demasculinize the Chuch, because it has far too long been Masculinized with a Patriarchchal structure that marginalizes women. Do more research on the internet. Do not be bambozzled.
These moments when Jesus shows compassion towards people are most moving to me. Like when the man who couldn't walk told Jesus - I don't have anyone to put me in the water... How heartbreaking it must have been for Jesus as well to see someone so alone and to hear him say I don't have anyone... Jesus healing is always from such love and compassion.
And yet she passed her exams, got her graduate degree and fulfilled the requirements for ordination and is mentored in the Lutheran Church. ...I had a roommate in college who told me of how bored he was all through grade school and many of his undergraduate courses. This guy could read a page of text one time and recite back to you whole sections verbatim. To entertain us he would sometimes recite whole monologues from iconic characters in some of our favorite movies. He just picked things up quickly... I'm not saying this is Nadia's experience, but she was the child of a pastor. ...She's achieving several things at once in making that statement, knowing right well that qualities in some minds will latch right on to it. My buddy in college also had a merciless wit.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
And yet all are created in the image of God and worthy of God's love through Christ. All are offered forgiveness of sin. All, whom fall short of the glory of God. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Grounded and a blessing. Thanks Nadia Boulanger.

@@michaelsimonds9948 Ironic as Christ isn't a particularly 'masculine' figure.
@@ibolyamolnar3211 Now standard narcissism is 'free thinking'?
What an honest person.
Enjoyable conversation, perfect partners. Thank you both.

No.
Was she raised as Wisconsin synod, or Missouri? 💜

Yeah, we can tell.

As a Jew ✡️ I find her totally misguided.
There is no god. That simple.
What a sill illogical thought lol
