On January 29th, I sowed three varieties that grow well as early starts: Costoluto Genovese, Principe Bourghese, & Black Prince. When they got to a few inches tall, I up-potted them to a 3.5" square container with the same soil as the planter they will eventually be planted in. Today is transplanting day.
