Another white man here 👋. Great reaction to a powerful song. Growing up in the UK (Scotland) its hard to say that I heard of or seen much racism.. Partly because unlike America Scotland is 96% white according to statistics from 2018. So for me to hear racism it was rare, Infact until I joined social media I could for certain say I hadn't been around any racism. We did however learn alot about black history in schools I don't know if that's as big a thing elsewhere but here it was something we got alot of, and the story's and movies we watched and read to educate us were truly haunting.. And I guess I would just like to put my word in now that I can and say I absolutely respect all my fellow humans but after some of the things I learnt growing up and some of the things I have read and seen on social media and from news from the US and other places, the brutal force used by police and the clear determination from all those in power to keep the entire black community down and out.. I respect my black brothers and sisters and the fact deep down there will always be some hurt, because that history just doesn't go away. And it shouldn't ever go away to bring us forward as a whole we need to see and acknowledge the atrocities that happend and use that as a learning experience and a way to educate the younger minds. But we should never fight hate with hate I just hope that one day we can acknowledge and move forward instead of keeping this divide society seems to have.. Again loved the reaction and I hope to see another. Take care 🙏
I also think its about stereotypes as well. Both sides really live their lives 100% believing that every stereotype applies to EVERY person. Which is why the actors are dressed the way they are
Hey pastor, i genuinely appreciated your reaction. Coming from a white man, its hard to relate to another race. I was raised different, my mom was my only parent. I was raised skin color is beautiful. Everyone is painted in different shades. I think as we become adults and have children of our own its important to have these discussions. Its the only way things will get better i was told by a good friend " in america a black person is born a criminal" dr. Shirley cherry. Meaning america already has its opinion as soon as youre born. I have 2 children if my own and dozens of nieces and cousins that are mixed. Youre absolutely right chucky cheese is the least racist place in america. Thank you again
I love this pastor!! I am so proud that he spoke on this issue, and I know that he has seen the ugly of racism first hand. But his delivery was on point #respect and ❤️ love! #GODBLESS
Dear pastor, the song was written and rapped by a black man. The 2 guys are actors. As a proud black Christian, you should read the part of the bible where it's written that being a black man was a curse put down by god. (I'm not religious, nor do I agree with that) Why any black person would be Christian is beyond me...jk. I know exactly why. European missionaries. You believe what you believe because of the white people you claim to be your oppressors. You should also check yourself on your history on slavery, because it was going on WAY before anyone else even showed up on the continent. White people weren't just showing up and capturing Africans, they couldn't even survive in Africa without dying from diseases. Africans captured each other and sold them. Mainly amongst other African tribes, but also between the Arabs, Europeans, and eventually (and lastly) Americans. African kingdoms were literally mad when the slave trade ended because it was bad for their business. Take some god damn responsibility for once.
As an agnostic who will never be swayed....WOW I loved this reaction, I expected to probably enjoy it, but I loved it, this is what I want from pastors, even while I stay being non religious.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today. -MLK JR Are we ready to do this? Can we finally stop characterizing humans by skin color? Can we abolish this social construct called race?
I've heard more mature and insightful feedback than the Pastor's about this track from dudes in their 20s on "reaction" channels (2 young black men from different youtube channels, specifically). Also, you "hyphenated" yourselves back in the 80s when intellectual blacks and Rev Jesse Jackson decided that simply being called "black" wasn't respectful enough and started a movement to normalize the term "African-American" for the common black man, outside of "intellectual and academic" circles.
Not sure I can say much more than, I’m white and I hear you pastor. I will try harder though and here goes…I think you’ll find many whites just don’t know what to do to help, as pathetic as that sounds. Is any apology going to help at all? Is that a start or is it just condescending and appear false? Should we do anything or just get out of the way? Maybe it’s all the above…maybe all I just said is just another excuse of ignorance and is complicit behavior. Maybe the scales need to tip before healing could ever occur. If you want an ignorant white perspective, I think we have been led to believe BLM is not a protest but a far leftist false protest feeding on honest blacks to further a larger political agenda. To put it in the same context, many whites think ALM isn’t a protest and has no political agenda, and should be the end result where all are inclusive. I’m just being honest and I think that is my contribution here, however small. Do I believe ALM is this all inclusive alternative? Not even for a second, Do I know if BLM is legit? I have no idea, but I think the right thing for me to do is shut my mouth about that and just listen to the individuals. It doesn’t matter if there is a secret agenda somewhere, that’s what some don’t get. Do I even fully get it? No, nor would I be so arrogant to think otherwise. There’s nothing ok about what’s happened to black Americans over the entire span of our country’s history, There’s no time limit to personal frustration and the atrocities inflicted. You should be able to vent that frustration without any comeback or even someone saying they “understand”. We don’t, and how could we? I don’t want praise or anyone to give me kudos…I just want to say I hear you and I love you to all my black brothers and sisters. No hyphens needed, you are just Americans and more importantly humans. We will all return to the same dust eventually. That I do know.
Oh goodness I think we got it.... We must have a rebirth of ZERO violence, public parapets of total communication. eg. Real government. by the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE. With a mandated lottery of each cities population. Nothing can stop peaceful and loving future if We demand this.
Pastor I love your classification of what an American Caucasian person is, Euro-American, if black Americans are Afro-American, then Caucasian American is Euro-American!
Everyone is aware that America was and it is racist but this man is taking it to a whole different level just to prove his point and that's a big fat lie 🤥
Okay, at 2:44, I listened to what you said sir, and while you are right in regard to blacks, Africans who were brought over to the new world as slaves, you are not right in regards to the laziness and how young Black Americans regard every bad thing. You sir, are as old my grandfather and I have totally respect for you. My father is just like you, though he is Mexican, he loves the word written in the Bible, God the Father, and the Son, but even he acknowledges that the state of 2000's and onwards adults, children, and baby's soon to be born are commonly equaled. Just because origin they are derived from is horrible and historical, doesn't mean you have the right to blame a person in you're generation for something their forefather did. Because they have their blood in their veins. Otherwise, in a serious, legitimate sense, us blacks, not African-Americans, but Black Americans as Americans inherited the best future possible. I agree with you and disagree with you and through that alone, I respect you for your ideological beliefs regarding racism. I hope to hear more from this RUclips channel and your opinion on similar topics likes this.

OK Preacher, I am a "euro" american pointing the finger. Get over your victimhood. No one now alive was a slave in the US. You never were a slave in your life so quit trying to excuse your failings for something that ended in 1865. Is that harsh? Just the truth.
