I've seen some bad takes before, but wow are these bad.... Platinum and B2W2 being ranked at B (both are easy S ranks games), and X/Y ranked at S and over HGSS?
@@CammersScarlet and Violet in S Tier is wild. Just the graphics and how poorly it runs alone drops it down a couple of tiers. If they had kept more from Arceus it might claw its way back up to like B tier, but after Arceus they dropped the ball hard.

Gen 5's animated sprites, more mature story and themes, and the 2.5d esque world exploration puts BW and BW2 solidly in S tier for me. It was the absolute peak of what Pokemon was for me growing up, and i felt like the series was growing alongside me
To me Gen5 lacked something. I liked the story, the region, the animated sprites (though they are overrated, the animations made most of the sprites much more pixelated compared to Gen4 sprites, making the latter look much cleaner), and I even liked the fact there were only new Pokemon in BW1 because the lore was ”the region was so far away”. I liked it because it weirdly made all the old Pokemon feel fresh and new too, because you hadn’t seen them during the whole story and you knew even the good ol’ Pikachu is considered ”rare” in Unova. So all in all, I do like the games. However, despite all of that, those games just, felt different somehow. They were missing something that was always there, I’ve never quite put my finger on what it is, but something felt off, and I feel like that is what many people felt too because back then those games weren’t too popular. I never felt that again with XY onwards, but I still feel that with whenever I open a Gen5 game. It’s weird and interesting at the same time. Glad that those games have gotten love afterwards though
BW and BW2 are incredible, they are both standout and they standout from each other more than any other sequel or 3rd version or remake ever has, all of Gen 5, Emerald, and platinum are S tier REQUIREMENTS, I understand if someone has specific beef with one of them or whatever but this list is wild loo
Gen 1 aged horribly that’s for sure But if you didn’t play it when it first come out Then You have no clue what you talking about This game was massive it’s like in top 10 most selling game in the history of gaming maybe top 5.. have this game failed you won’t be here today talking about Pokémon
You’re all stronger than me I gave up when Red and Blue were put in S then skipped to the end so I can see what thte final dumpster fire looked like without having to smell it burning along the way.
Dude I love Tera as a gameplay mechanic I think it so interesting and has a ton of potential. That and the dlc saved scarlet and violet saved it for me

Elite four is good, champion for specifically emerald, sucks.

Wanted to give this guy another chance but this tier list is straight gargabe. He should be banned from making any tier list bruh wtf X/Y ARE not above any gen 2 games and Sword/Shield are whack ass games that have no soul (watch soke retrospectives) What a let down of a video
I agree with a lot of this list. I don't hate BDSP, though. Don't get me wrong, they left so much to be desired, but I can appreciate the artstyle, I have fond memories of Shiny hunting the various Gen 4 Mythicals, and I loved how the Elite Four really stepped up the difficulty. Hell, most every enemy Trainer's Pokémon had a decently well thought out moveset, not something you typically get in modern Pokémon. They turned Saturn's team into somewhat of a rain team, with Kadabra setting up the rain, Bronzor using it to counter the Fire weakness since it has Levitate instead of Heatproof, and Toxicroak using it for recovery with Dry Skin. You had Maylene's Meditite setting up screens, complete with Light Clay. Hell, you had randos in Eterna Gym rocking Rest and Sleep Talk on their Budew! BDSP lacked in many ways, but there's little touches here and there that show the sort of potential these games truly had. Also, hell yes on Red and Blue being top tier. I know they're horribly dated, but there's a definite charm to them all the same. And the glitches are honestly a big part of that charm, you don't _get_ screwiness like that in modern Pokémon, not even in BDSP! Sometimes in later games I'll Surf up and down Cinnabar Island's east coast, encounter an ordinary Tentacool, and just sigh, thinking back to when that coast was the home of _gods._
Now SwSh I have good memories of kinda. Well as allot of people know due to COVID at the time during 2020 allot of people were staying home and for me I remember during part of the time Crown Tundra was available during that year I had to stay at home cuz I was fine but COVID rates in my area were very high and for me I remember doing so and I mean like SO much Dynamax Adventures most of that time (I didn’t get sick but had to stay home for 2 weeks due to possible exposure then) and I remember getting many shiny Pokemon then legendaries included. So for me this was a time in my life Pokemon got me through hard times.
So after seeing this list and reading some comments I can see a lot of people have very, VERY different opinions on all different Pokemon games. And while I disagree with a LOT of this list, it’s also a personal opinion which I totally respect. People are allowed to be wrong
Anyone who grows up with a certain generation will put that gen higher than any others. It will hold a special place in your heart and you cant negate that. For a lot of you it was Diamond and Pearl and so you are hurt by this list. Others could be as late as Sun and Moon and this list hurts them as well. Its just bias. Thats all rankings are. So with that said I think A drive did a good job!
B/W should be at A for me, with B/W2 at S; OG Pokemon Gens 1 and 2 were amazing with HG/SS being a lot of fun because of the Battle Frontier and S/M kinda reeked in story, I still think Kukui should of been the villain in a Colosseum-like twist (like how Es Cade was really Evice) and N should of appeared because of Colress, who could of helped you and Aether defeat Kukui, the Ultra Emperor (Necrokui in US/UM) In a way for me to change the S/M and US/UM stories, N would steal the stronger starter after beating it at Trainer's School with his Zorua's illusion as Kukui; N will pull you out of battling Guzma leaving Kukui to battle Team Skull by himself, then you battle N and beat him leading him to heal your Pokemon for battling Team Skull, after healing you see people shocked how Kukui lost to Guzma and he smiled, but Guzma then hits him in the chest, resulting a trigger and catalysm to Kukui as he warps away like an Ultra Beast; then, N stops Lusamine's plan later, but only for Kukui to should up and you must battle him; he will have Midnight Forme Lycanroc, Bisharp, Gyarados, Krookodile, Mimikyu, and the stronger starter's final evo, you beat him and he escapes to Ultra Space leading Lillie to bring her mother back after her plan backfires (in a way like Eldes trying to make Verich AKA Greevil understand his mistakes); then on your way to Poni Island, where' you're going with N and Lillie, Lusamine heads to Akala Island to tell Burnet the situation about her so-called husband being the Ultra Emperor; you don't battle Hapu and Mina until you defeat the Ultra Emperor in Ultra Space. In S/M, you'll battle all the Ultra Beasts thrown by the Ultra Emperor by chasing him through wormholes to places (the order is Nihilego, Buzzwole/Pheromosa (varies on version), Xurkitree, Celesteela/Kartana (same varies on version), and Guzzlord; then you battle the Ultra Emperor in his Beast Forme (he has Buzzwole arms with Kartana blades in his wrists, Guzzlord's body in a Dusknoir state, Celesteela's arm thrusters on his back, muscular Pheromosa-based legs, Xurkitree 2nd arm pair with Blacephalon head-based bombs on it; Stakataka's block-like arms in between the Buzzwole and Xurkitree arms, and a Nihilego over his head where his ponytail breaks and splits into Glowing colored extentions), then you must defeat him in full power after defeating Solgaleo/Lunala However; in US/UM, as Necrozma comes out of the Ultra Wormhole, Kukui comes out in Beast Forme to show you the power of Necrozma; then, Necrozma battles Solgaleo/Lunala and then merges with it, then Kukui shows you the power of Dusk Mane Necrozma/Dawn Wings Necrozma and you can battle after a moment where you can save the game before battling it. Once beaten, Necrozma retreats and Kukui follows it and you'll head to Ultra Megapolis to encounter Necromza and Kukui, once you defeat Ultra Necrozma, Kukui grabs him tight and all the light it lost is sapped into him where he becomes Necrokui, you battle Necrokui who has Lv. 55 Pokemon with his starter at Lv. 56 you defeat him and all of Necrozma's energy and light is brought back to Alola. You'll battle Mina and do the Trial where you'll face Totem Ribombee in the end, then battle Hapu on Exeggutor Island. You'll climb your way to the Pokemon League on Mt. Lanakila, however only in US/UM, you'll encounter Giovanni with Necrozma where he catches it with a Master Ball after you approach it; you won't catch it in deep later in the Post-Game (which I'll get to later); you'll battle N and Hau on Mt. Lanakila afterwards; then challenge the Elite Four, Hala, Olivia, Molayne, and Kahili; you'll then discover that Lusamine, who now realizes that Ultra Beasts are not worth going after (despite still looking for her husband, Mohn), is the Champion of Alola; you battle her and has a team of 6: Clefable, Tsareena, Milotic, Mismagius, Bewear, and Alolan Ninetales with signature Z-Crystal, Alolaninetium Z which replaces Blizzard with a move called Mystical Aurora Flame, a move with a high chance of freezing the foe, then after defeating Lusamine, you and her go to the Hall of Fame room where your Pokemon are known for your travels and success during the Island Trials. I will go over US/UM Post-Game with 2 Rainbow Rocket Episodes

The negativity in the comments is wild haha. It's all personal opinion. I think your list is pretty spot on. I'm from the same era. Grew up with the originals, moved away from it by DP, and have been back into it since XY (definitely S tier)
Tbh legends Arceus i'm only putting in C tier I thought it was a bit of a nice change of pace and it was cool to explore ancient sinnoh but there are quite a few problems i have with the game 1. The fact that they force you to pursue completing the Pokedex just so u can move on to the next area. Beating the noble Pokemon should be enough 2. The lack of battles compared to most games and the way you battle in this gsme is really annoying. There were times when i hardly got to do anything in a fight cos my opponent got to get multiple hits on me 3. For a game called Legends Arceus, the titular Pokemon has little to no prevalence in the game at all. Like what the absolute heck?! I do not want to have to complete the dex judt to encounter the one who sent me to hisui in the first place
I agree that beating the nobles should be enough and yes the other characters getting to attack my pokemon 3 times in a row and some of them having multiple pokemon at once and still attack multiple times in a row while we can only use 1 is also stupid
I really enjoy your opinion. Even though I would have put some games into another category, I love the way you explain your view on this. Very empathic explanation. By the way, I'm with you on GEN6 being some kind of peak in the franchise 👍 The only games I would put on D is SWHS and BDSP 😅
S tier: HG/SS, USUM, and ORAS A tier: X and Y, Black2 and White 2, Gold and Silver, Platinum, legends Arcues, and Emerald B tier: Yellow, Swod and Shield, S/V, FR/LG, Diamond and Pearl, and Ruby/Sapphire C tier: Blue and Red, B/W, Let's go Pikachu and Eevee, Sun and Moon D tier: BDSP
I did enjoy BdSp but only for a short time. For me shiny luck did occasionally happen in the underground but it was super Rare and some of the Pokemon in there are not even in Gen 9 so you can’t even transfer them over. For me after the Shaymjn, Arceus, and Darkrai events ended for me BdSp kinda died for me after that (especially as I got Shinto’s of all 3 from those said events and transferred them all to my Scarlet game). PokeRadar to me was eh okay but most of what I could shiny hunt in BdSp via that method was kinda meh. So overall yeah those games weren’t that great.
Definitely not a bad tier list but I would definitely put black and white 2 in C tear and black and white in B nothing against Black and White 2 but I can't be the only one who thinks that it's way too difficult to play
Violet in b tier, a sin you've committed, that game should be in a tier at least because that game has done something to me no other pokemon games have and that would make me tear up and almost cry
Emerald was s tier for me. No other game had me spending hours making teams so that i can beat the post game which had content for days. Why they haven't brought that back i have no idea.
Yeah I disliked soon as he put swsh above like half of this list, let alone Red and blue over majority of this list. Dude is looking at this through nostalgia goggles rather than critiquing each game properly for what it was. Stick to over hyped reactions
Thank you cause I absolutely hate the whole Terastalize thing ugh. When they came out with Mega Evos I was obsessed…but than they brought in z moves and gigantimax and I was like absolutely not ugh. And when they took out the gym leaders in alola I flipped…
Violet and Scarlet should be s tier it has the best storylines and area zero is amazing terastallizing is the best thing after mega evolution the Violet paradox pokemon are way better than the Scarlet ones (with the exception of great tusk being better than iron treads) shiny hunting in these games is fun and the framerate issues aren't that bad for me for some reason people forget this is gamefreaks first open world pokemon game all of you are being too hard on them
yea like i like the gameplay of scarlet and violet but bro. i am not about to sit there at 15 fps or less. that is now how a game of this caliber should be played. if it had better frames, i would be playing it
I agree with most of the rankings except for Arceus. In my opinion. I would drop it down to A just because I wish you battle more trainers but everything else was perfect
That game is basically diamond and pearl but for switch with a little change to finding pokemon. Doesn't make sense, logically, how people say they like diamond/pearl but not BDSP. It's the same thing but for the switch.
1k likes and 700 dislikes you guys need to grow up and respect that other people have different opinions from you i do agree though this list is really strange lol but still
Do the side games!! But keep this list. I'd be interested to see where you rank side games AMONGST main games I know personally Coliseum & Explorers of Time rank very high
Lets go pikachu/evee should've been A tier (imo) simplifying the formula with the added twist that at its time, it was the best (and probably still is, because it doesnt require herba mystica to shiny hunt) pokemon game to shiny hunt in, and still is (imo), a shiny dragonite!!!, come on!!!! my dude, this in addition to being the only switch pokemon game to NOT HAVE SHINY LOCKED THEIR LEGENDARIES!!!!
13 reasons why BDSP are the WORST remakes of all time: 1. Faithfulness: Unlike other remakes, BDSP literally copy/pastes 90% of diamond/pearl(2006). You cannot copy almost everything from a 2006 game.. (Remember its a remake not a remaster!). Almost everything is copied: All dialogs, the storyline, the chibi art style, the national dex, old pokemon encounters and even the Poketch were copy & pasted to this game. Pokemon games have been improved in the past years and had many quality of life changes like 3D art style, overworld Pokemon encounters and reusable TMs. None of these changes were adapted to the game which is just sad. This game is too faithful and faithful sounds more like a excuse for lazyness. 2. Not-Platinum-Based: So they copy & pasted 90% from the old Sinnoh game but not based on Platinum? Diamond & Pearl had several weaknesses and Platinum fixed many of them and included many Quality of Life changes. Here are some Platinum improvements over Diamond/Pearl: It extends the storyline with additional content, new dialogs, new characters like Charon and a new map Distortion world (loved it). The rival was a bit too weak in Diamond/Pearl which was fixed in Plat. The Poketch has a reverse Button. It has the battle frontier. And finally: the Sinnoh dex which was baaad in Dia/Pearl was fixed. The bad sinnoh dex in dia/pearl has only very few Fire Pokemon (very weird). Gym leaders were forced to use weird mons in the main game like Electric gym leader using Octillery or IceType gym leader using Medicham (WTF? Despite Sinnoh having enough Ice/Electric mons) and also many sinnoh mons were restricted to the postgame. Thats means many of the favourite sinnoh mons cannot be used in your team for the main story. But Platinum fixed this issue and created a NEW sinnoh dex which fixed all these issues which made the main story like a sinnoh game. ALL of these great changes of Platinum where NOT included in BDSP. This means BDSP uses the OLD sinnoh dex, OLD dialogs, OLD storyline, NO new character like Charon, NO distortion world and NO battle frontier. That makes BDSP a worse Sinnoh remake than Platinum which was released in 2008. (Imagine a 2008 DS game of the same Region beats you in ALL aspects. WTF) 3. EXP-Share & Friendship-System: One of the most hated features is the EXP-Share system which often leads to WAY more exp than in the past games. In my opinion, the EXP-Share is not too bad. BUT diamond/pearl were not designed to be played with the new EXP-Share system. So if you include an EXP-Share system, you have to increase all levels of the pokemon (from opponent). But they didnt which makes the difficulty of this game too easy.Basically, my whole team was too oveleveled. And the friendship-system is the worst luck-based system i ever saw. A feature that increases the Critical hit-chance,removes paralysis, lets me dodge 100% accurate moves and even lets me survive moves with 1HP. WTF did you smoke gamefreak? And the worst is that, you cannot make any of these optional. Because of that many players who love to do a nuzzlock in Sinnoh, prefer the old DS games. 4. No Innovation: This game not only copy & pastes the majority of its content, it adds nothing new to the game. Lets review some good remakes: HeartGold/SoulSilver (HG/SS) were Gen 2 remakes and included some storyline from Crystal and added many new stuff like the pokeathlon, battle frontier (from sinnoh), gen 1 map/storyline, a complete national dex and the pokewalker. HG/SS were not copy & pasted, but actually remade the game and added good new stuff. Also Alpha ruby&omega saphire (ORAS) have new changes like new art-style , new designs for Team magma/aqua, new Mega-forms, new Primal forms, changes to dialogs and storyline and the complete national dex. BDSP on the other hand does not provide any kind of major change in the game which makes this game really boring. It does have a new Underground which has overworld pokemon, but that is nothing special for 2022 and the ramanas park was neat but nothing too exciting. 5. Underground/Super-Contest: The old underground allowed to create your own living room with furnitures and set traps to troll friends online. Both were removed for a statue system which is really boring. Collecting statues and the effects of the statues are really disapointing. The Super-Contest used to be a fun-mode where you had many different options and varities and had to have good reflexes to do the correct moves at the correct time. Now all you have to do is Press A at the correct time and use 1 attack. That makes this mode so boring and disapointing. I mean, was it really that hard to let the player press like 4 different buttons instead of just 'A'?? 6. Art-Style: Many of us expected a modern review of Sinnoh in a 3D human like Art-style. But they decided to go for the Chibi-Art-Style. Everyone has different tastes but in my opinion the Chibi-Art-Style ruins many serious moments of the story line of this game, especially vs team galactic. It feels like all the emotions of the characters were removed. The reason why it was used in Diamond/Pearl was because of the limited hardware. In my opinion the Chibi-Art-Style waas the wrong decision and does not suit a switch game at all. 7. Only Gen 4: BDSP has a national dex which includes the pokemon from Gen 1-4 which is basically the same as Diamond/Pearl. As a player who would have loved to see at least some Pokemon from Gen 5-8 in Sinnoh, i am very disappointed. At least some Pokemon post Gen4, or some new forms or at least add Sylveon in this game. Not even mega-forms were included in this game. The fact that 95% of the megas are from Gen1-4 and the underground being the perfect place to grind the mega-stones, makes this decision even more disapointing. The reason why diamond/pearl was limited to Gen 1-4 was because there werent any other new pokemon. The reason why BDSP limited the game to Gen 1-4 is because of lazyness.. 8. PVP: On of the worst things in this game is everything arround PVP. The worst disrespect a main series pokemon game can get, is when GameFreak calls that all the competitive tournaments including the world championship will not take place in BDSP (WTF?). Unlike Sword/Shield, you have no option to search for PVP matches which makes it way harder to find battles. But the worst thing is the grind for a PvP team: TMs are not reusable (WHY?!). For some important TMs like Earthquake, you have to grind for 80BP (WTF. Thats a lot of Grind). Also you cannot catch pokemon with hidden abilities except those from poke radar. To get the hidden ability you have to grind for the ability patch for 200BP (WTF. Grind competitive to create a competitive. Nice system). By putting important PVP items behind such ridiculously high grind walls, it makes creating a PVP team disgusting. 9. Events: The events were also copy & pasted from Diamond/Pearl. Same Shaymin event, same Darkrai event. And other events are only accesible if you bought other main series pokemon game (Why..). And finally some garbage "events" which include some useless statues. Meanwhile, the 3 year old SW/SH getting better and innovative events like new PVP cups/tournaments and some legendary shinies. In my opinion the events in BDSP are disapointing. 10. Bugs/Glitches: Holy Moly! This game had so many bugs and glitches! You dont even need hacks, when the game itself has to many glitches. Many of them where completely broken. Many Pokemon clone glitches and item dupe glitches ruined the game. You could even get infinity money, create your own shinies (WTF), make your pokemon 6IV and let any Pokemon learn any move. I used to be in a discord for trading in BDSP and because of the glitches, the trade market was only about getting shiny 6IVs etc. Not to forget to mention the soft locks which made you restart the whole game which can happen for example in the ice gym. Usually every games has a few bugs. But this one had too many and too many game breaking glitches. A very hyped game like this shouldnt be developed by a 3rd party company.. But Gamefreak had other plans.. 11. Controls: The controls of this game feel weird and uncomfortable. Characters move in a grid which looks so weird during the storyline. The pokemon who follow me often block me in a bad way. The underground has many inivisible walls which makes moving in some rooms horrible. And finally the control with the cycle are the worst. The cycle in pokemon games are a beloved feature but in this game.. It feels so uncomfortable moving with the cycle, I sometimes even prefer walking. 12. Standards: A 2021 game should adapt the standards from the latest games (Sword 2019). The BDSP-standard isnt nearly as good as Sword/Shield. Many items, many attack moves, renewable TMs, dynamax, new pokemon, old moves without heart scales, more customization, max Raids or ranked battle stadium. None of the mentioned were adapted into this game -> BIG Downgrade for 2021 pokemon standards! 13. Price: Dia/pearl/Platinum: 40$ and Copy/Paste BDSP with Bugs:60$ -> Bruh.. Conclusion: It feels like GameFreak didnt want to do a Sinnoh remake but wanted to milk some money by releasing the highly demanded Sinnoh remake. The fact that, they hired a 3rd party company who never developed a major game, only supports this theory. Not forget to mention that, BDSP had a giant day one patch which was essential to enjoy the game. The fact that they released Legends Arceus almost 1-2 months after BDSP release also supports the theory, that they didnt care at all for this remake. Because of the release of Legends Arceus, the hiring of ILCA, the amount of glitches, the boring events, the exclusion of VGC, the 0 Innovation in this game and the fact that the majority of the game is copy & paste of a 2006 game (Dia/Pearl) which is worse than a 2008 Game (Platinum), makes this game the worst remake of all time in my opinion.
What I don't understand is how people who love diamond and pearl hate BDSP. They are the same games but on different consoles and different graphics. That's really it.
I really like all of the pokemon games except for scarlet and violet those games gave me a headache to and they was let down on what i want the first open world pokemon game to be

I never felt that again with XY onwards, but I still feel that with whenever I open a Gen5 game. It’s weird and interesting at the same time. Glad that those games have gotten love afterwards though
BW and BW2 are incredible, they are both standout and they standout from each other more than any other sequel or 3rd version or remake ever has, all of Gen 5, Emerald, and platinum are S tier REQUIREMENTS, I understand if someone has specific beef with one of them or whatever but this list is wild loo

there are some absolute horrendous takes here BUT oras is the best pokemon game of all time imo so respect for putting it in the S tier.

Great games, just too damn easy, they need difficulty modes or something, held your hand too much that game

Platinum being less than S tier is a crime!
FRLG are criminally underrated. Also there’s a good reason everyone has already forgotten about BDSP right when we were blessed with Legends: Arceus.
Dude I love Tera as a gameplay mechanic I think it so interesting and has a ton of potential. That and the dlc saved scarlet and violet saved it for me
Honestly, the best game for me is PLA 100%
I respect it! I personally like bw2 and scarlet and violet the most.

Sometimes in later games I'll Surf up and down Cinnabar Island's east coast, encounter an ordinary Tentacool, and just sigh, thinking back to when that coast was the home of _gods._
pokemon sapphire version is where it all started for me personally then emerald & fire red bro lets gooooooooooooooo
Trying to complete the Fire/Red pokedex as a kid was a nightmare. My parents hated Pokemon because of all the AA batteries they had to buy.
For me its:
S: SWSH, B2W2, ORAS, USUM
A: SM, BW, LA, Emerald, SV
B: Platinum, RS, XY
C: RB, HGSS, FRLG
D: Yellow, DP, BDSP, GS
(i never played Crystal)
Also, I personally didn't like Scarlet and Violets DLC very much compared to SWSH's DLC (Which was amazing)
SW/SH S-tier and HG/SS C-tier??😂 damn this is one messed up list
So after seeing this list and reading some comments I can see a lot of people have very, VERY different opinions on all different Pokemon games. And while I disagree with a LOT of this list, it’s also a personal opinion which I totally respect. People are allowed to be wrong
S - FRLG, BW2, PLA
A - HGSS, SV, Platinum, USUM
B - Emerald, BW, SM, XY, ORAS, Crystal
C - LGPE, SWSH, RS, DP, RB, GS

Anyone who grows up with a certain generation will put that gen higher than any others. It will hold a special place in your heart and you cant negate that. For a lot of you it was Diamond and Pearl and so you are hurt by this list. Others could be as late as Sun and Moon and this list hurts them as well. Its just bias. Thats all rankings are. So with that said I think A drive did a good job!
B/W should be at A for me, with B/W2 at S; OG Pokemon Gens 1 and 2 were amazing with HG/SS being a lot of fun because of the Battle Frontier and S/M kinda reeked in story, I still think Kukui should of been the villain in a Colosseum-like twist (like how Es Cade was really Evice) and N should of appeared because of Colress, who could of helped you and Aether defeat Kukui, the Ultra Emperor (Necrokui in US/UM)
In a way for me to change the S/M and US/UM stories, N would steal the stronger starter after beating it at Trainer's School with his Zorua's illusion as Kukui; N will pull you out of battling Guzma leaving Kukui to battle Team Skull by himself, then you battle N and beat him leading him to heal your Pokemon for battling Team Skull, after healing you see people shocked how Kukui lost to Guzma and he smiled, but Guzma then hits him in the chest, resulting a trigger and catalysm to Kukui as he warps away like an Ultra Beast; then, N stops Lusamine's plan later, but only for Kukui to should up and you must battle him; he will have Midnight Forme Lycanroc, Bisharp, Gyarados, Krookodile, Mimikyu, and the stronger starter's final evo, you beat him and he escapes to Ultra Space leading Lillie to bring her mother back after her plan backfires (in a way like Eldes trying to make Verich AKA Greevil understand his mistakes); then on your way to Poni Island, where' you're going with N and Lillie, Lusamine heads to Akala Island to tell Burnet the situation about her so-called husband being the Ultra Emperor; you don't battle Hapu and Mina until you defeat the Ultra Emperor in Ultra Space.
In S/M, you'll battle all the Ultra Beasts thrown by the Ultra Emperor by chasing him through wormholes to places (the order is Nihilego, Buzzwole/Pheromosa (varies on version), Xurkitree, Celesteela/Kartana (same varies on version), and Guzzlord; then you battle the Ultra Emperor in his Beast Forme (he has Buzzwole arms with Kartana blades in his wrists, Guzzlord's body in a Dusknoir state, Celesteela's arm thrusters on his back, muscular Pheromosa-based legs, Xurkitree 2nd arm pair with Blacephalon head-based bombs on it; Stakataka's block-like arms in between the Buzzwole and Xurkitree arms, and a Nihilego over his head where his ponytail breaks and splits into Glowing colored extentions), then you must defeat him in full power after defeating Solgaleo/Lunala
However; in US/UM, as Necrozma comes out of the Ultra Wormhole, Kukui comes out in Beast Forme to show you the power of Necrozma; then, Necrozma battles Solgaleo/Lunala and then merges with it, then Kukui shows you the power of Dusk Mane Necrozma/Dawn Wings Necrozma and you can battle after a moment where you can save the game before battling it.

Tbh legends Arceus i'm only putting in C tier
I thought it was a bit of a nice change of pace and it was cool to explore ancient sinnoh but there are quite a few problems i have with the game
1. The fact that they force you to pursue completing the Pokedex just so u can move on to the next area. Beating the noble Pokemon should be enough
2. The lack of battles compared to most games and the way you battle in this gsme is really annoying. There were times when i hardly got to do anything in a fight cos my opponent got to get multiple hits on me
Are you doing a challenge to get unsubscribes
😂😂😂
I really enjoy your opinion. Even though I would have put some games into another category, I love the way you explain your view on this. Very empathic explanation. By the way, I'm with you on GEN6 being some kind of peak in the franchise 👍
The only games I would put on D is SWHS and BDSP 😅
Diamond and pearl where the last of the traditional pokemon game well designed pokemon and no battle gimmicks
This list is remarkably close to mine. I think the only difference I'd make, personally, is to swap Emerald and Platinum
If youre ranking this off of what you like thats fine but platnium did so much for the franchise it should be s tier
S tier: HG/SS, USUM, and ORAS

B tier: Yellow, Swod and Shield, S/V, FR/LG, Diamond and Pearl, and Ruby/Sapphire
C tier: Blue and Red, B/W, Let's go Pikachu and Eevee, Sun and Moon
D tier: BDSP
Lol
BW in the same tier as LGPE is the most dogshit ranking I’ve ever seen and this video started off putting Gen 1 in S lol
Black and White are my favorite, then Sword and Shield was my next favorite!! But, X and Y I have so many memories from it!!!
Should do a teir list of the spin offs
Yellow,HG,SS,Emerald,Platinum, Legends Arceus are my favorites
Think scarlet and violet will lead to truely amazing games and are leading to where we want to be.

Platinum not being in S tier is crazy
How dare u put BW in C
Thank you cause I absolutely hate the whole Terastalize thing ugh. When they came out with Mega Evos I was obsessed…but than they brought in z moves and gigantimax and I was like absolutely not ugh. And when they took out the gym leaders in alola I flipped…
Violet and Scarlet should be s tier it has the best storylines and area zero is amazing terastallizing is the best thing after mega evolution the Violet paradox pokemon are way better than the Scarlet ones (with the exception of great tusk being better than iron treads) shiny hunting in these games is fun and the framerate issues aren't that bad for me for some reason people forget this is gamefreaks first open world pokemon game all of you are being too hard on them
Platinum may be the de facto sinnoh game but i didn't mind BDSP too much. It's at least better than the original Diamond and Pearl
Gold/silver not in S tier is criminal.
yea like i like the gameplay of scarlet and violet but bro. i am not about to sit there at 15 fps or less. that is now how a game of this caliber should be played. if it had better frames, i would be playing it

I agree to this list actually, i'd maybe put HGSS in S though
FRLG and Platinum and should be S Tier
Gen 1 and 2 games are too old and dated
I agree with most of the rankings except for Arceus. In my opinion. I would drop it down to A just because I wish you battle more trainers but everything else was perfect
I ain’t mad at this list tbh
BDSP is extremely underrated ❤
That game is basically diamond and pearl but for switch with a little change to finding pokemon. Doesn't make sense, logically, how people say they like diamond/pearl but not BDSP. It's the same thing but for the switch.

Do the side games!!
But keep this list. I'd be interested to see where you rank side games AMONGST main games
I know personally Coliseum & Explorers of Time rank very high
I still have my Pikachu Gameboy SP… I don’t know if it holds a charge tho
Lets go pikachu/evee should've been A tier (imo) simplifying the formula with the added twist that at its time, it was the best (and probably still is, because it doesnt require herba mystica to shiny hunt) pokemon game to shiny hunt in, and still is (imo), a shiny dragonite!!!, come on!!!! my dude, this in addition to being the only switch pokemon game to NOT HAVE SHINY LOCKED THEIR LEGENDARIES!!!!
Theres no way 😭😭💀💀 burnt is a understatement
13 reasons why BDSP are the WORST remakes of all time:
WTF)
The Super-Contest used to be a fun-mode where you had many different options and varities and had to have good reflexes to do
the correct moves at the correct time.
13. Price: Dia/pearl/Platinum: 40$ and Copy/Paste BDSP with Bugs:60$ -> Bruh..
It's hard to believe you dislike Teralizing. It's competitive very good stuff. Megas are only for some Pokémon and big time fan service.
You were almost cooking but you stepped out the kitchen 😂 nah but forreal so close to what my tier list would be
The only thing good about BDSP is that you can shiny hunt the mythicals
I really like all of the pokemon games except for scarlet and violet those games gave me a headache to and they was let down on what i want the first open world pokemon game to be
