I feel you on the acne - I get cystic acne, which is annoying as not only it leaves scars I get Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation...so even though the spot is cleared up I'm left with purple marks in it's place for months. I only ever get a couple of spots after my top of the depo injection (period management). To give you a picture - I had my last lot in July, had 4 spots and still have the hyperpigmntation...my next lot is due mid Oct. Not really a makeup kind of person, but I've resorted to buying full coverage foundation! Currently using one from No 7 and it's amazing, covers up my permeant redness on my cheeks. I've recently turned 29, so don't even know what my skin is gonna be like when I'm a lot older haha. Love skincare, and use Sukin - however I'm really bad at to sticking to routines!!

I came off it last year to see how my skin would cope after 8yrs acne free but it came back. Not as bad but I’d still get 3-4 nasty painful ones around my period. Im back on the medication now and just get the odd ‘normal’ spot now and again. I still have marks from previous ones and like you, take months to disappear. I got into makeup as a teen to cover up my face - it gave me confidence. I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you too. I hope your acne gets better in time xx

I’ve tried so many things but I just knew (due to having PCOS) I needed to balance my hormones which I fought with doctors for many years. Eventually I was referred to a dermatologist who was amazing and I begged him to try Spironolactone as a last resort and he agreed. I started it in 2004 and it took 9 months to be completely acne free and around that time, I started to notice the excess hair I had was disappearing. My greasy scalp was no more too and it helped regulate my periods. But… it made no difference to my hairloss which I was gutted about. I came off it last year as I was told by an online pcos expert that it can cause liver issues which scared me but… the acne and extremely greasy face and hair came back. So around March this year I went back on it and I’ll stay on it now until I’m way passed menopause and I’ll try to come off it again and see if I’ll still suffer with acne. If I do then I’ll take it for life. I hope it works for you too xx

Great calendar. I now wish I had a hundred quid to spend on a calendar. I love beauty bay's own products and this time of year my go to moisturiser is their oatmeal one - sooo good. Yeah, great calendar. Thanks for sharing.
I actually think this is a great advent especially for the price point. I think the palette being there own brand was obvious brand move but I do think the colour story should’ve been more Christmas theme than a basic nude
I have pre ordered the look fantastic one already. I’m very very tempted to get cult beauty as well. Was a toss up between space no and cult beauty, but I think for me cult beauty has a slight edge.

It’s a pretty decent one for the price point. I’d have thought they’d have properly come outta the gate given it was their first one, but it’s still nice for the price. I’m going to sit it out to wait for a couple of others to be released though.
For their first it's not bad but I went for the LF, same price point but a much better palette to, so yes you were right a branded palwtte may of swayed me towards this one. Xx 😊❤

I was so excited when I heard that Beauty Bay were releasing a calendar, but this is extremely disappointing - only 2 products slightly interested me. £100 for their own brand, mostly minis, and stuff from brands you can find in Superdrug and Boots?! Beauty Bay do so many brands that no-one else carries, so why not highlight them?
The sneak peek didn’t really impress me, the unboxing it hasn’t change - not because of you tho 😅 however it’s still lovely to see it and you my lovely great unboxing as always I’ll pass this as i already got others I have my eye on and I’m on a budget 😭 x

Shay & Blue Black Tulip is one of my faves. It smells similar to Tom Ford Black orchid, but you can really smell the tulips.
