Im a bit split about the explanation about re greasing, allowing the grease to seep through the seals. As these seals are basically single lip clip fit seals, wouldn't this method of letting grease seep through press the seal out of its holding lip and just be protected by the metal dust cover, thereby forcing the grease via centrifugal force through the opening and letting the bearing run dry prematurely. Which out of the two should Fixed and Floating bearing types? In Which direction should the sleeve be installed in case of fixed and floating ones. Should they be on one side or alternate sides? How direction of rotation decides the location of lockni

If u buy an engine for example a grinding mill does the bearing need greasing before use or the bearing will be housed after being greased?
