Over 13 centuries ago, Moorish troops crossed the narrow strait between Europe and Africa to initiate the Muslim conquest of the Iberian peninsula. During the Moors & Christians festivities, this key moment in the history of these lands is played out, in a symbolic way, on the beach of La Grava in Duanes de la Mar, Xàbia.
