Reminds me of when I was little at Christmas this movie. I watched it so much back when I used to believe in Santa and when white Christmases actually happened. Now it only rains in December and unfortunately I grew up
"At one time most of my friends could hear the bell, but as years passed it fell silent for all of them. Even Sarah found one Christmas that she could no longer hear its sweet sound. Though I've grown old the bell still rings for me, as it does for all who truly believe."
I literally had the "hero boy" arc with the movie. It lost some magic when my parents tried to convince me it was supposed to be a dream (having been the last one in school to believe in Santa they decided to in their mind rip the band-aid off since I was getting bullied for it). But from engine Pierre Marquette 1225, to roller coaster builder Gravity Group's work on Glacier Gulch (their first project was that-their rides closest to being genuine Glacier Gulch are Hades, Voyage, and Revine Flyer 2), most of what's in the movie is real, layers far deeper than what a normie parent could possibly know. I like how being a true believer, you're rewarded with the movie literally being real. For a time, most of my friends saw the film as one if their favourites, but as years past it lost its luster for most of them. Though I've grown up, the film is still magical for me, as it is for all who truely believe.
I saw this movie in 3D and though I own it on DVD and have seen it at least a few times since thst first time seeing it in 3D just can’t compare, not just because certain scenes just feel more incredible in 3D (I hope to experience this movie in 3D again someday) but because of the nostalgia of the experience, after seeing that film I went with my dad and he bought me a BRIO Polar Express train battery operated (I think I still have it, I hope I do) … damnit I was not planning on ugly crying.. Thank you for this legendary video. I miss you dad.
This always been one of my favorite movies and i remembered as kid i always waited every Christmas for the train to arrive at my home and every time felt sad it didnt come
Good News I made the Polar Express soundtrack i have on My Playlists Request : The Polar Express HDR : Fall to Glacier's Gulch / Enter the Ice * High tone * Pitch 1.05x.
"One thing about trains: it doesn't matter where they're going. What matters is deciding to get on"
