In Iowa, it’s a small bag of Doritos cut open across the top, add meat cheese, lettuce, salsa and eat with a fork= Walking Taco they are sold at football games, etc
My favorite snack is sort of like strawberries dipped in chocolate. But what I like to do is take the strawberries and cut them into nice size chunks, then in a separate bowl, take mini chocolate chips about a half a cup put them in a microwave safe bowl, put a teaspoon of peanut butter on top, and a teaspoon of any oil over the top. Put it in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds, take it out stir it up and then put it back in the microwave for another 15 to 20 seconds if it hasn’t fully melted yet. Take it out stirred up real good till it’s creamy, then use it to dip my strawberries in.
Luke, you have great skills and intuition for cooking! This is not common, especially at your age! Keep learning and cooking! You are exceptional and have found a career or a great side passion!
I think it would be a cool idea to pair up all the kids, one older kid and a younger one and then they pick out a snack recipe and make it together. After the snacks are made everyone can try them to see what each other made!
You should try boiling 2 cups of sugar with 1 cup of water (don't stir for the first 15 minutes) then grab your fruit of choice put it on a stick and cover it with the mixture you just did, once covered put it directly in an ice bath and have a great snack. I usually make big portions of that and freeze them for later. Love you guys❤️
Back when I was in my teens, I learned how to make garlic potatoes. They are sooo good. Just peel & slice your potatoes, like you do to just make fried potatoes. Then fry them as usual, just before they’re done sprinkle sugar and garlic salt all over them, fry a little longer, turning them as needed, maybe sprinkle with garlic salt again(to taste), it can take a good bit to be able to taste it in the finished product. Once nice & browned/lightly glazed, scoop out of the frying pan onto paper towels (to absorb excess oil) in a bowl or dish and enjoy!
Wow! I haven't heard Luke's voice in a while he's gotten a very deeply man's tone to it. It's awesome seeing him grow up becoming a man. Luke have you looked into culinary arts there's several levels of becoming a chef? 👨🍳
Nice ideas for snacks... I never had any fruit grill that I can think but hopefully will try it some day... love how Crystal parter Lucas hair to be able and see more of his face...❤❤❤
If you cut the bag of chips lenghtwise (from corner to corner) you can easily fit all the toppings in for the taco in a bag, and yes, that’s what we call it in Canada. We use nacho chips like Doritos, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream for ours. They sell it at all sorts of events here. Every hockey rink has it. We make them lots when camping.
We get half a cow every year from my sister-in-law and the difference in that meat and what is bought from the grocery store is unbelievable. BTW, love that blue shirt Crystal. Luke should really check into culinary school.
Nothing wrong with having unhealthy snacks. Hot chips, cake, ice cream. As long as it is balanced with healthy meals. Snacks are a small portion of you total consumption so it’s okay to indulge.
Loved Lucas’ fried macaroni and cheese! He is such a great kid…mature. It was really great that almost all the kids participated. Love all the different personalities! All are such loving, wholesome kiddos!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes! Walking tacos. Use the individual size bags of Fritos, Doritos or whatever they want. Crunch the chips up a little while in the bag, open like normal, add taco meat and then have the kids put whatever toppings they want in their bag and eat right out of it! I work in a school and they have them for lunch a couple times a month and I see them sold in high school concession stands also. They are great for parties as you can cook up a lot of meat and keep it warm in a crock pot and people can just eat as they want. They are so good!! Brodie's is good too! I have an easy way though!! Get a gallon size zip bag. Dump in a box of angel food cake mix and a box of any brand/flavor cake mix. Shake up really well! You can keep in the bag or put in a canister. That is it! The recipe is called 3-2-1 mug cakes. Mix 3 tablespoons of the mix with 2 tablespoons of water in a mug. Stir well and microwave for 1 minute! Can mix in anything you want too and top with whatever. A favorite in my house. I made the mixture as gifts often when my son was young with him for family, friend and teachers from him. It was easy for him to do. We put the mix in a mason jar and added a ribbon and the simple recipe. Get some cute mugs from the Dollar Tree or wherever and fill with a baggy of mini marshmallow, sprinkles and chocolate chips. Put in a gift bag and you have a great gift that was always a hit!! I actually had MANY people reach out to me after the fact and ask me how to make the mix when theirs was gone! LOL!
This is for Brodie! If you get 2 or 3 oreos (or any biscuit) crush it in a cup and add some milk, put it in the microwave for a few minutes and it makes a cup cake! Look forward to seeing you master this one buddy. Much love crazy fam xx
I’ve noticed that all of your kids love snacks and I was wondering if you have ever taken them to a ice cream place called La Michoacana or something similar im pretty sure they will love it
I found Luke's snack very interesting. I was thinking if you were allergic to wheat and needed to go wheat free, you could use GF noodles and almond flour instead of wheat flour and for your panko, you could use the ground up pork rinds. You can buy them at most grocery stores or order on line.
Caramel apple pie is one of our favorites. Hot piece of Marie Calenders apple crumb pie topped with Geradellies Caramel, a big scoop of ice cream on top then a little more Caramel. Yum, so good. Everybody's snack looked delicious. ❤️💚🧡
I love walking tacos! I always get them from Taco Bell, but I bet homemade ones would be way better! Love this video! Teaching, learning, spending time together & bonding! ❤
Some of them were not exactly “snacks”, Mac n cheese is a dish, brodys was a dessert. We had a piece of fruit after school, that was our snack. We wouldn’t have eaten dinner if we ate like that. It would take a lot longer to prepare and many dishes between all of them. They have a snack cupboard for convenience.
I like eating frozen raspberries with plain yoghurt, especially good on a hot day. I'll also sometimes cook up some apple with raisins and have that with plain yoghurt (chopped apple, with a bit of sugar/honey, raisins, cinnamon and a bit of water, and simmer until the apple is soft). Going more into dessert territory, I also like making single serve apple crumbles, in dishes like the one Brody used for his microwave cupcake. You can do them in a microwave, but I like to do several at a time in an oven. The single serve is just for portion control, I usually do 4 at a time which is the full recipe and put the rest in the fridge.
My favorite sweet snack is Thumb Cookies but we use miniature Reese's cups instead of the "normal" Hershey's kiss. Also - my mom used to make Potato Candy every year at Christmas. Boil one peeled potato (maybe two for your large family!😊) once cooked through (but not overcooked or mishy), place it in a mixing bowl and add powdered sugar and mash together. Keep adding more Powdered Sugar until the mixture becomes "dough-like". Remove from the bowl, place on waxed paper and roll it out like you would pie dough. Once rolled out, spread peanut butter over the dough and carefully roll into a jellyroll shape. Slice relatively thin slices (they will look like pinwheels) and enjoy! Fyi ... this a very rich snack! A little goes a long way! No one will ever believe it's made of a potato!!! Would love to see you make this! Or try making homemade "Buckeye" candy. You'll have to Google for a recipe (try the one that uses real blocks of wax in the chocolate!!!) Oh my are they WONDERFUL! I'm from Ohio (hence the Buckeye name - they do look like a real buckeye when finished. Some folks just call them Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls. LOVED Lucas's snack - gonna have to try that, the mug cupcake and the grilled watermelon! (Grilled pineapple is also great! Same way you did the watermelon.)
Hi Keep It Crazy Family! One of my favorite snacks (when there freshly made tortillas or leftover freshly made tortillas). Nutella and tortillas!!!! My son and I love this. We have even added sliced bananas 🍌 or granola or raisins (well, I'll add raisins) or pretzel sticks. FYI: Store bought tortillas don't have the same flavor as freshly made tortillas. There's a lot of salt in the store bought "everything"!
Nothing very difficult or hard to do, but doing grilled peanut butter sandwiches in place of grilled cheese is amazing. When we were kids (a long, long time ago!!!) we weren't very well off and one of our meals that we kids loved the most, was tomato soup and grilled peanut butter sandwiches. Some of us even dipped the sandwiches in the soup and then ate them. They were awesome. Occasionally, I will make them still and when I do, I am right back there at my parents table as a little girl........oh, the memories!!!!
I had a sweet snack tonight someone brought to cards. Very easy…3 cups of candy corn & 1 1/2 c of peanut butter. Melt together in a pan stirring as it melts. Pour into a pan and chill. When finished melt chocolate (or use frosting) over the top. Refrigerate and cut into small bars. I think she called it Butterfinger bars.
All your snacks looked great. I have never had watermelon hot befor but I like salt on my fresh watermelon. My favorite healthy but somewhat interesting snack is cottage cheese + sunflower seeds + a fresh fruit. Any kind of berries, peaches, pineapple, or tomatoes are my favorites. Or mix some salsa with cottage cheese or sour cream and dip tortilla aka corn chips in it.
My kids love when I do the s’mores Pizza or cookie one. You cook the pizza crust before just a little toasted because it will toast more later. After you do crust let it cool some then you put chocolate chips all over it then add some crushed up gram crackers if you want but not needed. Then top with marshmallows then some shaved chocolate. Put back in oven until marshmallows are melted or until little brown then enjoy with milk. Cookie one you do pie crust same way then put chocolate chips, peanut chips or butterscotch . Any chip you like . If like nuts put little crushed ones on. Little bits cookie dough sprinkled with sugar over top and bake until cookie dough is cooked. Makes great snacks to take camping.
Lucas, please put your recipe for the Mac n' Cheese balls so that we could try and you should go into the culinary school too. It looked soooo good. Grilled watermelon is good but grilled pineapple is delicious. I love that you give your children the chance to do and experience different snacks.
My favorite snack is called chili con queso taco nachos. You will need to cook a pound of taco flavored meat, set aside. While cooking your meat you can melt a block of Velveeta. After cheese is melted had in diced pimentos (any size jar will work) and a can of mild green chilies dices (any size can will work. Put over your choice of chips. I used nacho cheese Doritos. That was my go to snack
One of my favorite snacks is called a punch bowl cake. It is a layered dessert. Usually put in a punchbowl so you can see the layers but you layer vanilla pudding, angel food cake, and canned fruit. On top you put whipped cream and cherries then you use a spoon and serve in bowls.
Peanut butter and Tuna on sour dough is amazing. Mason over on the middles makes it. When making Tuna insteas of useing mayo use peanut butter. Best snack ever other then the carmel smores clusters from costco. Keep Smiling :)
One of my favorite snack is champignon mushrooms filled with blue cheese. You take off the legs and then fill the hole with blue cheese. Then put it to the oven or on the grill. In the oven use temperature 200C approx 25-20 min, until the cheese is melted. I usually put legs in one corner on the oven pan and then put blue cheese pieces on top of them.
My favorite snack to make is peach and put yogurt on top of the peach and freeze it for 30 minutes and take it out and drizzle it with honey and granola. So good.
you guys should try cutting wraps (sort of like enchiladas) into 8 slices, baking them for about 10-15 minutes. waiting for them for harden and then put butter on them :]
Hello crazy pieces thank you for sharing your lives and another amazing video you are some of my favorite RUclipsrs you make my day better thank you ❤❤❤
I haven’t tried it yet but I seen either on TikTok or Facebook you cut a bag of chips/doritos and you put in what ever ingredients you like n something to make it stick together and use it as a batter for chicken legs/wings/thighs it looked delicious when finished cooking
My sister and I are definitely going to try Lucas's recipe it looks amazing all the kids did a great job on there recipes thank you again for sharing your lives ❤❤❤❤
Girl Scouts have made walking tacos for years. Some food trucks even sell them. They are yummy! You can cut the cost by buying a large bag of tortilla chips and using a sandwich bag or quart ones for your walking tacos.
You should try frog eyes! or well that's what we call them. It's really simple. you need tortillas, cream cheese, and dill pickles. cover the tortilla with cream cheese, line up a pickle or 2 near the edge depending how big the tortilla is, and roll it up inside the tortilla. then cut it into little rolled slices. SO DELICIOUS. Some people also add a slice of ham to roll into it, but i prefer without. If you google "frog eye roll ups" you should find it! 😊
We do the little bags of Doritos and then add all of those ingredients. Shake the bag to mix and then it eat! Definitely a snack that way! It is called walking tacos !
I am 100% making some macaroni balls ! I’ve had broccoli and cheese balls once ! I bet adding broccoli and i the mac and cheese would be 😋😋 also boiling your noodles in chicken stock is 🙌🏽 a definite go to .
English muffin pizzas, tuna fish, grilled cheese, tomato soup or chicken noodle soup were after school snacks when I was a kid. Also a banana sliced in half lengthwise with peanut butter and a few raisins. Cinnamon raisin bread with sliced strawberries and Nutella, then cook like a grilled cheese. Enjoy!
Rylan’s is a walking taco. They sell them at kids’ baseball games here with Doritos. They cut along the long side of the bag, crush the chips & add lettuce, cheese and meat. For a little more they’ll add salsa & sour cream. For the apple slices you can use a metal cookie cutter to cut out the core part
My kids like to eat hot banana split. ingredient's are: Banana's (with the skin on) cooked in the oven on 200oC (390f or gas 5) for 15 mins preheated oven. peel the banana's then cut long ways down the banana's then they add there favourite ice-cream with strawberry's, blue berry's, raspberry's and grapes then whipped cream with sprinkles on the top. Give it a try and see if you like it. with love from the UK.
Rylan’s “snack” is called Walking Tacos. You crunch up the chips first and you can either tear it off at the top and fill it, or down the side. Used to make those at our home base private Christian school for lunch. 🍽️
Luke's snack is amazing! I've made these so many times. The only thing I'd add is a light salt after coming out of the hot oil...also grill some pineapples! You can thank me later 😂❤
Rylan’s snack is known as walking tacos. They are great for lunch, dinner, parties, snacks. I have never had grilled watermelon.
We grew up with them at football games and we called them taco in bag
I was thinking the same thing about Ryland's snack, a variation of walking taco.
In Iowa, it’s a small bag of Doritos cut open across the top, add meat cheese, lettuce, salsa and eat with a fork= Walking Taco they are sold at football games, etc
They are good for camping.
We do it deconstructed in a manner, put it all in a bowl instead of in a bag. They're also really good with the tosito's crisper rounds.
I am so happy that Luke is loving cooking. He is such a sweet guy and seems to be in his element in the kitchen😄

Take it out stirred up real good till it’s creamy, then use it to dip my strawberries in.
Rylan's snack is called Walking Tacos!! So yummy and easy to eat on the go..
Yes lmao, in Texas our gas stations sell em lmao
We call them.tacos in a bag not a walking taco
Rylan, try them sometime with regular Doritos. It's great!
@@ThatColtGuyniceee
we have cookout where i live an they sell them there
Walking tacos are such a yummy dinner. Great for parties or camping!
Definitely 😊
That’s what we do as well!!!
My husband and I like to make chili walking tacos, they're sooo good. ❤
I love how Aaron teaches & gives tips while cooking & helping the kids. Im learning a lot ❤
Max knows how to snack! Simple, quick, easy prep and little clean up.
Luke, you have great skills and intuition for cooking! This is not common, especially at your age! Keep learning and cooking! You are exceptional and have found a career or a great side passion!

Tanghulu or Candied fruit 😍😍😍😍 one of my childhood favourites 🤤🥰
I love that Luke is experimenting in the kitchen! He’s gonna learn so much!
Grilled Pineapple with honey, lime juice, and cinnamon is easy and yummy - and, in my opinion, far nicer than grilled watermelon :)
A restaurant I used to go to would cover pineapple slices in turbinonado sugar and grill it.
@@Clh699 I will try brown sugar as that sounds so nice - thanks for highlighting that.
Lucas I am super impressed with your culinary abilities!! Would love to see you cook more!!
I second that emotion! You can tell he’s really happy when he’s in the kitchen. Chef in the making I hope. Go, Lucas! 🎉

I use gluten-free flour and 4c gluten-free bread crumbs - they are a little big, so I crush them down.
You could use gluten free bread instead of pork scratches because there's alot diabetic out there how could eat it then
Caramel apple pie is one of our favorites. Hot piece of Marie Calenders apple crumb pie topped with Geradellies Caramel, a big scoop of ice cream on top then a little more Caramel. Yum, so good. Everybody's snack looked delicious. ❤️💚🧡
Auroras speech in this video is amazing! Seems like she is making major advancements as of late. So happy for you kiddo 🫶🏼🩷
I love walking tacos! I always get them from Taco Bell, but I bet homemade ones would be way better! Love this video! Teaching, learning, spending time together & bonding! ❤

My favorite sweet snack is Thumb Cookies but we use miniature Reese's cups instead of the "normal" Hershey's kiss.

FYI: Store bought tortillas don't have the same flavor as freshly made tortillas. There's a lot of salt in the store bought "everything"!
Welchs grape juice about 10-12oz , 2 egg yolks , 2 tablespoons of sugar shake/blend/stir together and enjoy. Best served cold🙂
Love Lucas' recipe!! Next time you want just mac n cheese, top that with cheese and bake it until the cheese starts getting brown and bubbly! So good!
Grilled watermelon is so good. It's one of my favorites during the summer. I also like grilled pineapple.
Nothing very difficult or hard to do, but doing grilled peanut butter sandwiches in place of grilled cheese is amazing. Always watching from the United Kingdom love the snack meals😊 loved Savannah hug
We make apple donuts all the time! I often use choped dried cranberries as the "sprinkles" and some times chocoate chips !
This is such a great video it gives me great ideas for snacks what I can try 😋 ❤️❤️
Walking Tacos! Good camping meal we make them all the time in Scouts 😊 mix it and eat it out of the bag, save the dishes lol
Grass fed beef farm raised beef is so good - it has a nutter taste to it - everything tastes so much better with it
I love lemon pudding with frozen blueberries mixed in and Cool Whip stirred in. Yum!
You should try popcorn with gold fish and Parma. Also, try a fruit smoothie with avocado and Cale, Greek yogur.
I tried the s’more cones today! Oh my goodness!!! They are delicious thanks for recommending. I’m trying fried macaroni cheese balls one day soon too
Logan with Savannah’s snack at 13:50 😂😂😂😮🫣 shoved that skewer so far in his mouth gave me anxiety 😂
Awesome video I really like it lot it was cool and you made awesome videos and you are my favorite RUclips and you are best RUclips channel
I’m definitely going to try some of these snacks!! My husband makes grilled bananas! Please try them! They’re delicious! You need to eat them warm.
Walking tacos! We do snack size chip bags and make them while camping. Kids can run around while eating their meal
Cinnamon sprinkled on apples is delicious. You could heat it if you'd like to. Both ways are delicious.
That sounds amazing!
One can of refried beans with salsa and cheese to make a dip for tortilla chips. Quick and easy.
Tell Lucas to make a big batch of those and freeze them. Then pop them out and fry when you want!
WOW all the kids get great! but I think that lucus is going to become a chef! sending hugs from your adopted gram in Ct xo
Yes Rylans snack is called walking tacos I was obsessed with this snack /dinner. I would have it during cheer practice
My favorite snack to make is peach and put yogurt on top of the peach and freeze it for 30 minutes and take it out and drizzle it with honey and granola. So good.
Thanks Luke! Now I have to try your snack idea!! Try Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches!! So good!!! ❤
you guys should try cutting wraps (sort of like enchiladas) into 8 slices, baking them for about 10-15 minutes. waiting for them for harden and then put butter on them
:]
Hello crazy pieces thank you for sharing your lives and another amazing video you are some of my favorite RUclipsrs you make my day better thank you ❤❤❤

Crystal favorite words That's really good Lol great video we loved it!
I love watermelon chunks with feta cheese crumbled over with mint leaves with a little olive oil sprayed over.
Lucas that looks really good. You should do the one hand wet ingredients only and the other dry only. Your hands will stay cleaner and less waste.
My husband has been making his own Star Crunch. Oh my goodness, so good!!! He’s a gem!😊🥰
My sister and I are definitely going to try Lucas's recipe it looks amazing all the kids did a great job on there recipes thank you again for sharing your lives ❤❤❤❤
Walking tacos are typically made in individual bags of chips…the smaller bags. And they’re typically made with Doritos. They’re so good
Yea rylan’s snack is known as walking tacos! They are so good! When I was high school we used to serve walking tacos for lunch.
I love watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great day!!!
Logan, I will definitely be trying this. It looked amazing.
They all looked delicious 😋.... savannah you look fantastic ❤😊 🇨🇦
Walking tacos. Individual bags of Dorito's or Frito's and then everyone can add their own toppings to the bag.
I’m with Max, Nilla wafers and milk is the best. Also Nilla wafers with peanut butter is amazing too lol 😊
Enjoy!

Crystal proved to us the phrase of all mothers in the world, no matter how different the languages are
Rylan’s is a walking taco. They sell them at kids’ baseball games here with Doritos. They cut along the long side of the bag, crush the chips & add lettuce, cheese and meat. For a little more they’ll add salsa & sour cream.
For the apple slices you can use a metal cookie cutter to cut out the core part
2:08 Rylan’s snack is walking tacos for where I live
5:14 Max’s snack was in another video for when you guys showed everyone snacks from when you watched a movie
We used to do the taco in a bag thing at girl scout camp but we used ziplocks and then shook them to mix it around. Really good!
Hi guys you must try watermelon cut in cubes put in fridge to cool for about a hour add crumble feta cheese and crushed black pepper.
Making Mac n cheese in chicken stock is genius! Never thought of that that.
we make homemade protein balls. the recipe i found tastes kinda like cookie dough in texture. it fills bellies and is a treat in one.
As being raised in the Midwest it always surprises me at the amount of people who do not know what walking taco/taco in a bag are
Glad that you guys had fund doing your snacks............At least you don't have to worry about dinner. :D A learning experience for the kids.
There called walking tacos and are a hit anywhere I call it a taco in a bag , now I'm hungry lol keep on, love y'all 💗
Luke's snack is amazing! I've made these so many times. The only thing I'd add is a light salt after coming out of the hot oil...also grill some pineapples! You can thank me later 😂❤
