I think it’s a testament to your skill as a reader and actor that I found this both engaging and enjoyable despite having previously avoided this particular Poe tale. Another magnificent job.
Oh my, im glad that i see this video at de morning😅.. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep last night🙊 I don't like Horror/thriller and such at all, and yet I watch this video🤦🏼♀️ Very well told! you are a talent in storytelling😃
Here's the backstory on the jacket: I bought it at a thrift store years ago (2014?) and wore it to host a fashion event. I got some feedback that it was not cool to do so. I then spoke with an ex-Marine friend about it. He agreed, not cool. His feeling was that if I removed all insignia, and painted the buttons, it wouldn't be offensive to our brothers and sisters in the armed forces. I hope that remains true. I just love the look. I am in no way shape or form a Marine, and have nothing but respect for our service members.
Dude you're not claiming to be a Marine, it's all good in my book. Military surplus has been a thing for decades, no one can resist the appeal of dress blues 🤘
I feel there should have been more of a trigger warning when it came to this story in the beginning because sometimes people could underestimate what is considered “violent” or “gory”but your readings you do you give life to it. It’s hard to do voice work especially when it comes to reading poetry. You’re just a natural. You know when to pause to breathe and know how to accentuate the personality and manipulate the narrator’s / author’s voice. You know how to tell a story whether it’s your own or someone else’s. Conveying Poe’s work you still made it your own with how you interpreted the reading but captured the thrill of Poe’s writing even though it was very violent. It was too much.

So few people can read aloud the works of Poe and rightly capture the style and mood of the writing - you have done so wonderfully!
Magnificent!
Yes! I've been looking forward to a reading from Poe all month. 🐈⬛ 📜
