What an iconic twist. Having the entire encounter with Lauren and Sheila in the fashion show getting arrested all being a dream after Sheila had the car accident outside Lauren’s hotel. Just wow. What incredible writing during these classic 80s and 90s episodes. No wonder why this show was the most watched tv show in the entire world. Just amazing
Yes, she even dreamt that awesome ‘80s thriller music that played when Julie tried to set Clarke up with the lipstick on his coffee mug! That’s telepathic stuff! 🤣
Oh boy I remember that dream sequence, it was wild. I was thinking if this wasn't going to be real either since I've heard some plotpoints of the future and this wouldn't add up to them at all. 😂 Too bad Margo isn't dreaming on the show no more :(
Wonderfully produced episode and luckily we're able to watch 3 episodes a day. However, if I was watching this episode per day back then, this would have frustrated me!
The writers really knew how to drop little bits in each episode to keep the story going and exciting - such as this one and Lauren now knowing "Sheila" is the woman's name.
Lauren is the heiress to Fenmore Department stores and she was attacked in an upscale hotel while in town for a big-time fashion show. She called the police. This would be breaking news and on CNN. Suspect was presumed dead? Same name? This is LA. TV news crews everywhere. The name Sheila Carter would be on every news outlet. I get that this is fiction but sometimes the writers expect us to be clueless.
Off-topic and although he no longer appeared in the show at this point and hasn’t been in the past 100 episodes, it’s only been a month since Robert Clary’s final appearance in YT time as Pierre, and now comes the terrible news that he passed away on Tuesday at age 96. We all joked about Pierre’s singing over the past year, but truly Robert was a brilliant performer and Pierre a wonderfully jovial character who brought a balance of fun to the show for those two years he graced its presence. Truly a legendary actor who will be sorely missed - he was “lucky Pierre” indeed. R.I.P.! 🌟🌟😞

Taylor, even if Brooke is pretending, what do you want her to do? Keep on asking Ridge for reconciliation? At least with this pretending she leaves him alone. Now if that trick does work on Ridge, your problem is not really Brooke, is it?
That is my only issue with that too. - If Brooke keeps hitting on Ridge, it will be (clearly) wrong. - If Brooke keeps telling Ridge that she has moved on and he should go home to his wife, it will be wrong too for Taylor because Brooke then is kinda playing and manipulating Ridge (is more intriguing because she is not interested). These women (Stephanie, Brooke, Taylor, Caroline....) know that a woman becomes even more attractive to Ridge if she is a challenge and not running after Ridge, so they all should better focus on Ridge and his behavior, his flirting, instead of the woman's.
@@mara4450 That is why she and mostly Stephanie were angry that Brooke didn't go to Paris (as if they signed a contract and Brooke broke it) They want her to disappear completely, her mere presence bothers them no matter what Brooke does or doesn't.

*SHEILA IS A STORYTELLER TO RIVAL STEPHANIE* Sheila's extended dream sequence occurring over a week of episodes leaves open the possibility that _the show is all happening in Sheila’s mind!_ In this way, Sheila is the first real match for Stephanie in terms of being a Storyteller and an avatar for the head-writer. Just as Mr. Bell uses Stephanie to manipulate characters and drive the plot, so too is he using Sheila! Consider how many ways Sheila has already affected plots and storylines: the stunt she pulled with the Belief formula affected the show’s main romantic triangle by bringing Ridge and Brooke closer and making Taylor paranoid about the time they were spending together. Similarly Sheila’s eventual tampering with Bridget’s paternity test will further determine the outlines of that love triangle and drive three years’ worth of story! And then there are upcoming storylines she will influence including the entire Anthony Armando saga (which all happens because Sheila spikes Macy’s drink), and ruining Brooke’s relationships with Connor Davis and Karen Spencer by intercepting a love letter between them. Sheila is competing with Stephanie for control of the plot and Stephanie can almost sense this happening - on a certain level that’s why she’s wary of Sheila and that’s why she was so angry about Ridge and Brooke spending time together to recover BELIEF, she senses that the plot is being steered without her. Thus Sheila’s nightmare signals her role as one of the show’s storytellers. While other characters have had flights of fancy, Mr. Bell has never before turned over several episodes completely to a character’s imagination. This indicates his fascination with Sheila and the fact that he views her as a controlling agent within his story (a status he previously only granted Stephanie). Notice how it remains unclear what parts of the past few episodes were real and what parts were just Sheila’s nightmare. That’s because Mr. Bell wants us to start viewing the show through Sheila’s eyes just as we do Stephanie’s.
@NewYorkNick0607 Sheila is and was my favourite character on the show. She was one of the most complex and interesting characters that Bill Bell ever developed. His biggest mistake was writing Sheila into corners she couldn't get out of. I'm glad she is still on in 2024, but her character is just a shell of what it used to be.
They could've used Nan Wolff (Judy); in the confrontation scene to see Sheila being escorted, and end the dream of Eric rehire Judy, to rub it in Sheila's face
Of course we now have a Bobby Ewing situation, i.e. what did and didn't happen during the five-episode dream sequence: Did Brooke meet Lauren? Did Taylor really receive flowers from Brooke? Did Stephanie and Jack really have a reunion date? Did Eric really tell Brooke he's falling for Sheila? Did Taylor and Ridge really have bunnies-in-heat s*x after the cocktail party? Did Taylor really see a pair of twinklers? Did the silks really start bleeding, requiring an additional drier from Chicago, and Ridge rushing back to the lab in the middle of the night? Did Taylor really confront Brooke after the showing about playing hard to get with Ridge? Or is Sheila so clever that she can steadily pace her dream sequence along with other events that are actually taking place in the real world?
😀 This time Sheila really got a very very long dream sequence. 🤣 But I assume Sheila only dreamed about events that happened to her/with her in it. So yes, when Taylor confronted Brooke, she might still have been angry about that Ridge had spent so much times with Brooke to save his collection, had to leave the bed after the sex to run to Forrester because of the collection again.

3.49 Taylor is turning into a jealous witch.
My my, pretty amazing!
Taylor, Brooke's been married to him for 35 years now compared to your 7-9 years of hell you put her through.
Brooke has never been married longer than one year???? What do you mean 35 years????
Taylor is the one whose been manipulating Bridge for years so she could get her hooks into Ridge.
Ridge was going threw it with Brooke that’s why he kept showing up at her office for advice Taylor is his personal psychiatrist if you ask me he didn’t like how Brooke was giving into Eric demands while he has to wait for her and he actually told Taylor he love Brooke more than once and the reason why he went for Taylor is because he knew how much his dad really loved Brooke and he didn’t want to cause his dad no more pain Ridge told Thorn he was going to give up Brooke because of his dad he seen how desperately his dad wanted to stay married to Brooke now im not saying he doesn’t love Taylor but we all know why he married her so he wouldn’t be free for Brooke hoping it will send her back to Eric another thing why would he use Brooke to make Taylor jealous he wasn’t even to much thinking about Taylor only when he needed to talk to her that’s why she was so upset with him all the time
Wtf?????????
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
