Being from Houston it is so humid here and we all wear makeup to the pool or beach. At least all my friend’s and their Mom’s do.

Every woman is different…some prefer to wear makeup at all times, others do not. On Beach and/or pool days, my go to products are tinted moisturizer with spf, tinted chapstick with spf, and my hair in a pony with a baseball cap on. I prefer to wear minimum products, as I like to take this time to give my skin a break. I am usually in the water anyways…so who cares! Wear what makes you happy, and remember the best thing you can ever wear on your face is a friendly smile.😊
Same here. I have to wear a SPF 50 on my face, when going to the beach or the pool, and usually a bronzer or tinted moisturizer, to even out my skintone, and an SPF 30+ on my lips. Banana Boat makes good lip balms, but they are so hard to find!

I rarely comment, but Lisa, I've loved you and followed you for years!! This person's comment was JUST. PLAIN. RUDE! @nicolem1552... Do whatever you want at the "damn pool" but don't accuse Lisa of insecurity simply because she chooses to put on some makeup to go to the pool!! Wow, why do women feel as if they have to tear down other women? Hmmmm, maybe to make them feel better about themselves because they feel insecure??? See...doesn't make you feel so great to hear someone assume something about YOU, does it?
I always wear a SPF 50 on my face because the sun is very strong in the summer, and I don't like my skin getting sunburned at the pool or beach. My face gets red, so I have to wear a bronzer to even out my skintone or use a tinted SPF. Personally, I think it's fine to wear a little makeup to the beach or pool, especially if you are planning on going somewhere else afterwards, or out for dinner, which I Love to do after a day at the beach. I don't think Lisa is insecure by wearing make-up to the pool or beach--lots of women do. ⛱️
She is clearly protecting her skin from sun damage. The makeup, the sunglasses, the hat, the lip spf. You can tell in the “before” that she is avoiding tanning of her face. She says it and it is obvious before she applies any color to her face. Also, she is answering our question about good makeup to use for the pool or beach, because some of us like to wear a little bit (especially lip color with spf).

My natural eyebrows are completely blonde and my hair is naturally dark brown so I HAVE to put on my brow products to go anywhere or I’ll look like an opossum 😂

You look fantastic as always. I love how simple your makeup look is for the pool. Some people love to wear makeup all the time and others don't. Each to his own. I used to see a woman at the gym and she was 100% glammed up. Full on glam, bling, gold - you name it. Not my thing but you could tell she loved it and it made her feel great. So be it. I love that Chanel lipstick. I have several of them in more nude colors. It really is nice. I forget I have it on. Love your makeup videos.

One of the challenges I have set for myself is to go to my beautiful community pool that I have never been to, despite living in the neighborhood for 9 years. I've slowly eliminated all the friction points that have prevented me (looking inward) and now working on the outer self - cute Walmart swimsuit, check - tote bag, turkish towel, cool girl hat and sunglasses, check! I'm definitely a makeup-to-the-pool kind of girl too 🙋♀️
I don't mind being seen without it, but who doesn't like to feel cute?

Your skin is so pretty! You could do a tinted sunscreen, waterproof mascara, sweep some bronzer and tinted lip spf and go… You are so pretty and don’t need a lot for the pool! I do wear a light foundation or tinted moisturizer when going to the beach or pool because I have Melasma and I’m EXTREMELY self conscious, maybe some water proof mascara (blonde lashes) But if I wore full glam in this heat and had a hot flash! 😂😂 I would look like the melting witch on wizard of oz! I would way too embarrassed of the melting off or god forbid someone splashed water my way! How do you keep it on? Even setting spray I think wouldn’t hold up? It would be so noticeable…

I'm looking to find a budge proof tinted sunscreen because my face is fair but the rest of my body is tan despite using SPF 60. I hope one day they'll bump it to spf 200 Lol 😆

My vocal cords get a little wonky sometimes so I drink teas with manuka honey, take luddens cherry drops and rest my voice.
From an astrological stand point people who have a Libra or Taurus rising ruled by their throat chakra can tend to lose their voice and it can sound a bit scratchy.
Probably a Summer Cold. In My Opinion Those are the worst!
@@lindalambert8712 I've experienced those, they are not fun. I tend to drink teas high in vitamin C and sweetened it with Manuka Honey as it has antibacterial properties for a little extra insurance Lol

That's a good makeup routine for the beach or pool. I usually wear my SPF 50, and some bronzer, and definitely lip balm 30 or 50 SPF--I don't like my face or lips getting sunburned. I love Chanel foundations. I love that Chanel long-wearing lip color--I have never tried those. That Maybelline lip liner is really pretty. Update: I was in Target yesterday and they had the last Totally Toffee--can you believe it?! It was meant to be!! 😂 You look so pretty & ready for the pool. I can't believe it's going to be July 4th already! 🇺🇸 ❤
