The first Fatality Invasion Mix was already genuinely my favorite song you've ever made, but holy crap THIS IS SOMEHOW SO MUCH BETTER This song is _far_ more amazing than words can express, the original Invasion Mix was already absolutely fantastic but this is somehow so much cleaner and more creative!! The amount your music skills have improved since then is absolutely *insane!!!* It's easy to go overboard when adding new parts to a song, but you did not do that at all, every single single new part you added is very creative and works _incredibly_ well with the rest of the song!! The lyrics especially, they go INSANELY hard! And this song is overall just *extremely* well-made, everything - from the guitars, to the drums, to the vocals of both kinds, to the chiptune parts - is just SO FREAKING CLEAN, and they all go together absolutely perfectly!! The art and visualizer are absolutely incredible too! I'm going to have this on loop for a _very_ long while!! This was very fun and I *loved* a lot of the new back and forth! It's so interesting to me that Exe is focused on *way* more in this version, making it seem less like they're on equal footing and more like Fatal Error is fighting tooth and nail to hold shit together lmao. Especially how in the original Exe doesn't even get a single spoken line, but in this version he has *double* the amount Fatal has, who's already been reduced slightly! It's not necessarily a bad change at all, but structurally it was hard for me to tell that the tug of war was ever leaning in Fatal's favor. Up until the very end it felt to me like he was on the backfoot of the struggle (Left me a little surprised that their final note had already struck lol). I also think it has something to do with Fatal's use of higher notes and lesser vocal effects, juxtaposed with Exe's constant deep commanding tone, and abundance of motifs (Even at one point close to the ending *taking over* one of the few Fatal can call his own!) (Addendum: Listening closer, I think the very first line might actually be sung in unison too? Much cooler now I've realized! But the limited sketches had me confused on first couple listens xP [Even the description seems to be confused? 🤔]) All in all this is so fun though, the lighting compliments the astonishing art wonderfully, and the beautiful intrumental? Holy shit! Blown away! I'm glad the two versions of the song can coexist, since this is a great reimagining of that instant classic with some alterations made to taste! Great work to all! :D
