Great value for money! It is amazing how far they have come. If I had to choose a duster, it would have the Renault badge on it and finished in the beautiful green they do.
Had mine now going on four years and I cannot be happier. It is a no fuss, easy to live with as a daily but also shines for long distance trips. Would love to know what the new model does
@@sevesellors2831 Thanks. That's not bad for this size of car and around 130bhp, providing that's not all steady-speed highway/ commuting, and does include some city driving.
Cracking review me and the wife are seriously considering the Duster as her next family runaround, she suffers with her back and i now struggle to get in and out of our fiesta 😫 i think this is a fantastic value practical family car 👍
My wife has the same problems as yours. We have had a brand new blue Bi-fuel LPG Prestige Duster for 5 weeks now and are very satisfied with our purchase. Our old car was a Vectra C estate from 2004 and how my wife suffered getting in and out! She finds the seats comfortable and no longer suffers even after a 200 mile trip. Fully recommended!
Have U any more Films to come regarding the Duster & did U get to take it up into the lakes or around South Cumbrias 6ft 6 country Highly Pot holed Tractor Friendly Roads n lanes whilst U had the pleasure of putting it through its paces. I am quite intreged to your opnion on how it drives & its ride quality on the rougher type of roads we live with daily. Ive just Parted company with my Mg Zs to which drove these roads pretty good, so now i am seriously intrigued to your honest opinions on the Duster Please 🏁
these dacia cars are no fuss low price cars it does what it says on the tin. i do like the dacia sandero for value for money kids run cars. most expensive cars have hard plastics and have to option usb ports in rear. all in all value motoring just stay away from entry levels and do like the jogger 7 seater again value for money. good review ben
Remarkable how far Dacia are coming with more and more styling or additional bits from Renault's main parts bin! I'm seeing fully kitted out brand new factory order Sandero Stepway Prestige for under £11,000... Which is cheaper than most used city cars or small hatchbacks with the current inflated used car market. Might need to get a whip round organised 😂
That sounds like a plan, John! Dacia made a solid business move when they became part of the Renault Group…this new model is excellent value for money, and handles well. Crazy, some of the second hand car prices. *A
@@PlanetautoUK it's embarrassing that the whole excuse behind the used price hike is the lack of chips for new cars and yet Dacia are rubbishing this by pumping out massive dealer contribution discounts on top of their regularly low low prices! Could probably buy one or three and sell them used for a profit if you were in that sort of business!
John, please tell me more about these massive discounts, like how much and where from? At the time of writing, Feb 2022, Carwow is quoting about £1000 max off an £18,000 car (6%), with most retailers offering just a few hundred pounds (or 2%) off. I would say £3000/ £4000 would be a massive discount, and given that the cars have gone up hugely over the past two-or-three years, I don't think that's out-of-order. It's supposed to be an affordable brand after all, and I need to keep the payments down or I might aswell pay a bit more and buy a better product/ brand.
@@soots-stayingoutofthespotl5495 at the time of writing that message there were adverts on Autotrader across the Northampton and Watford branches of Renault Retail Group for £10,888. I chased this up with their Cannock branch but sadly they said their was a system wide error and this offer would not be honoured 😭 the adverts were taken down a week later. Prices are around £14,460 on Autotrader, I would advise setting search parameters to Year From 2021 and max mileage to 100... Some are pre-reg but some are factory order brand new
Great review, well done.👍 It looks like you have tested the Comfort model. The next model up the prestige has a bit more, 17" wheels, four cameras, sat nav, leather padding on the door arm rest, heated seats, blind spot warning, climate control, heavy tinted rear windows, wireless phone mirroring and upgraded upholstery.
The noise off the engine 😅 don't think I could live with that even for the low price. Thanks for the video. I was considering buying one but the engine noise Is the deal breaker 😬
And the fact you have 4 wheel drive as well.......It means you can be (Pause, cheeking side glance at the camera) 😏 A little more adventurous 😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Proper handbrake, flat load floor, full size spare wheel, dials for heating. Superb! Nice touches to make it easy to live with without faff.
Yes, in Annabelle’s words it ticks a lot of boxes, thank you Alan
Ahhh proper handbreak, had a Kadjar with a button😝..

It’s very interesting to know that is how the Duster is badged up in Russia! Totally agree on that green colour 😍 *A

In a word there’s a few changes but essentially it’s the same dependable and affordable motor it’s always been.
Love my Duster had it a year been great and getting 44-45 mpg overall. Dacia and MG offering best value on the road. Great review too thanks!
Thank you Seve, yes there are a few brands that are certainly shaking up the car market currently
Which engine do you have Seve? And is your car 2wd or 4wd?

Oh the front headrests are very funky looking too.
They really do - the design language has taken a real step up for this generation. *A
Finally about to upgrade from my 06 civic to a Duster and cannot wait.
Very cool, impressive SUV, good off-road too, in our case we’d have both - we love Civics

Its a shame they dont do the 4x4 in a petrol version over here in the UK 😥
