    Hey Kris,
    I just discovered your channel and it is amazing to see all these nice projects you did!
    While watching I saw that you have written some pretty nice programs that are compatible with Arduinos and so on, so I would love to see a tutorial on how to program that.
    Thank you for all these nice Videos!

    OY!!! did you get the new part in, yet!??!? i'm waiting for the next upgrade/mods. you did a great job on this - i'm envious of your toolbox and what a great job you did on your tools holder(s). i love how you're working in aluminum. I'd like to get set up with something like that. Lathe & CNC.
    keep up the great work!

    -What CNC-Controll software do you use?
    -What stepper motors do you use on your cnc?
    -What CAD/CAM programm do you use?
    -Can you make a complete review of your cnc machine?

    Hi Kris! As a student, watching your work is so motivating. I have a question, did you install QT directely on the Raspberry Pi in order to create and run GUI apps ? If yes did it take a lot of time compile programs? I tried once a cross-compilation with a computer but I failed. Thank you in advance :)

    Hee kris. Eerste keer dat ik je kanaal tegen kom maar t ziet er erg goed uit! Ik ben zelf nog best nieuw in robotica. Heb laatst een balancerend koffieblik gemaakt. Ik gebruikte dc motortjes en kleinere wielen dus hij bleef nauwelijks overeind. (maar ben er nog steeds trost op). 2 vraagjes:
    Hoe krijg je opencv werkend op je robot. Kun je dat runnen op de raspberry of run je het op je computer die het dan weer terug stuurt naar de robot?
    En zou je misschien de arduino code van deze robot met ons willen delen? Alvast bedankt!

    • @KrisTemmermanNP
      @KrisTemmermanNP  8 лет назад

      Hi Bram, Thanks! Opencv draait op een raspberry pi (niet echt snel, maar na wat finetuning toch redelijk) Arduino code: github.com/neuroprod/balancingRobot. (is nog wel niet af, maar is de code die in het filmpje gebruikt wordt)

    Good one!
    Your steppers/drivers are still very unhappy :(

    • @KrisTemmermanNP
      @KrisTemmermanNP  8 лет назад

      +Spirit Hi Spirit, I think there fine... I did check it and i turned up the amps till they where getting very hot. With no difference in sound. To little power gives an other kind of squeaking noise. Maybe its some frequency in the driver timing thats a little bit of or something with the micro steps . But it does feel ok, i don't think its struggling...

    • @Spirit532
      @Spirit532 8 лет назад

      ***** Then probably it's not the current - it can be noise. Try shielding where you can, and see if it goes away. The reason all drivers whine and do a funky beat is because the error amplifier is getting disoriented for a brief moment.

    I want to use a good programming system so I can use when I make my robot it’s going to be my hobby and I want to make a dragon type robot Based on cynder from the legend of spyro dawn of the dragon that specific model design of her in the game but what should I use I want to make the skeleton strong able to climb things balance itself be able to move around without a remote or switch be able to have human like conversations be able to see through camera like lenses that look like pupils enable to have a tail that moves enable to move around like a type of animal like a A Dog A cheetah or a wolf those kind of movement capabilities and I want to use some kind of fabric would say get everything on also need to cover up the mechanic and endoskeleton is there any kind of covering that you would recommend also we can’t afford a 3-D printer and we’re waiting on my Social Security and I got some blueprints written down on a notebook also I want to give her some claws and be able to attack for defense and recognize me as her creator or owner and recognize certain family members as well as wistand roughness and able to protect her from rain and have human like emotions and responses and able to have artificial intelligence built-in And not have an on and off switch and no requirement to be charged able to run at TopSpeed like a cheetah able to grip things in her paws and teeth and have wings that have lifelike movement and to withstand heat and I want to know what I can use to give her lips that move so we can show emotion like they do with certain robots able to see in the dark and just be a personal companion and someday I’m gonna make bonbon from five nights at Freddy’s sister location and I’ll be so cool if someone made mangle from five nights at Freddy’s 2 if you want you can search it up so you’ll know what I’m talking about like cynder bon bon mangle aswell The penguin from five nights at candy’s have to if you don’t want to I just need some help also just wondering do you have an email? So I can be able to talk to you?
