Thanks Ben! Really appreciate you watching and glad to share. I’m glad that camera angle worked out. Makes for a neat looking shot. Wish I could do that on more airplanes but we work with what we have.
I’m from the K3 area and was just recently at the Kankakee Airport or Koerner Airport as I call it. Love the PA-22. My brother also works at the Greater AP. Stop in and say hi to Gary.
Thanks Jim. I imagine a lot of memories have been made with this cool bird over the years. Low and slow and flying in and out of grass is where it is at!
Must be nice flying in the Midwest where everywhere is a great emergency landing spot! Here in the southeast the options can be slim! Love the video. My favorite kind of flying. Low slow and VFR
The Tri pacer is a really cool old plane. A good friend of mine had one years ago and it was very stable. If I remember correctly it flew very nicely. It's funny how the flights like these are the ones we always remember the most. Thanks as always for sharing the video Mark and I'll see you in the next one!
I’m 25 mins from Lowe and hope to be there within the next few weekends flying their champ out of bug barn up on the hill. I’ll also be flying out of Bult. C56, they have a grass runway on the north side parallel to the paved strip, and a glider club If you’d like to form up sometime, let’s meet up!
Hello Mark! Do you own N2953P? I just have some questions about the Tri-Pacer. I am an Ercoupe owner in SC and always curious about well kept vintage, low-and-slow aircraft. :-)
How is everyone enjoying the video so far!? This was a fun flight and I hope you will enjoy the views and grass air strips.
"Piper Heavy" got a real laugh out of me. Thanks!
Cool airplane I remember the Tri pacer as a kid and I am old.
Pretty neat flying machines for sure!!!
So fun..I wish I had your good fortune...I'm trying..ugggh
Thank you for posting this
Yes, very blessed. Keep up the good work and you’re sure to find good success!!!!
Really enjoyed seeing the outside camera rolls on this video. Especially the one of the landing on the grass landing strip.

Fun, what flying is made to be!

I had a 57 tripacer, a little power helps the landing ,
She could handle a strong crosswind , I miss you Charlie golf golf Zulu Oscar !
Always wanted to fly a tripacer, a friend had a colt when I was a kid that he’d take me up with. Good memories! Nice video, especially the landing.

I agree completely! Takes you back and reminds us how much we love the roots of aviation. Thanks for coming along.
Nice three point landing ,might’ve held the nose wheel off a little, you never know if the grass strip has any holes!
2:10 always makes me nervous lol
4:20 I didn't know they could butter grass!
“Hug that center line like you hug your woman” 😂. Another awesome video, cool angle of the camera under the plane 👍
ALWAYS 😆
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you liked the camera angle. Such a fun plane to fly.
little tip ...as soon as touch down get the flaps back up ..then there is better contact to the ground and way shorter ground roll

I’m looking for a 150/160HP Tri Pacer. Going to sell me J-3 Cub as I enter retirement and my wife and I need the back seat for our dogs.

Was that plane ever owned by Victor Newman, Calif. my dad and him were partners in ownership. Those numbers a way familiar.
